Story
Daisy Mae came to Elmore SPCA with her 5 puppies, who have since found their new homes. They were abandoned in a trailer and thanks to some kindhearted people, managed to make her way out with her babies and find safety. Now she is looking for her forever family who will give her the love she deserves. She is a happy go lucky dog who loves to go for walks and play. She is very affectionate and we just love spending time with her. She has a weird obsession with ears of corn, and has been known to steal an ear or 2 from the field beside the shelter. She is a goofy girl who is sure to keep you laughing and entertained. If you are interested in giving this sweet girl a fresh start please stop by the shelter during our business hours. ***Petfinder inquiries are not monitored by Elmore SPCA*****Shelter hours are Monday - Saturday, Noon to 4pm****Applications, as well as personal references may be electronically submitted from our website at www.elmorespca.org/adoptionapp.html. **>>Due to the heavy load of adoption applications received processing of applications can take up to 7-14 business days.

Trouble is not looking to be your dog, he is looking to be your baby. This dog has the sweetest, most gentle demeanor and just wants to be loved. He unfortunately ended up with Elmore after his loving owner lost their housing. You can tell that this dog was loved and he is just looking to have a family again. He keeps his kennel clean, he has not been loud at the shelter, and he has even been a rockstar at the vet. If you are interested in this incredibly sweet dog, please stop by the shelter during our business hours so we can introduce you.

Story
Achilles came to Elmore SPCA as a stray and after no one came forward to claim him, he is now looking for his perfect forever. He is heartworm positive, but we don't want that to keep him from finding his perfect family. He has started his treatment, which is a lengthy process, but Elmore SPCA and the veterinarian that we work with will help his new family through every step of the process. He is a sweet adult dog, who just wants to be loved, oh and he will take any treats he can get as well. **We are looking for a quiet foster home or a forever home for this sweet boy so he doesn't have to go through the healing process here in the shelter. If you are interested in meeting Achilles to adopt or foster, please stop by the shelter.
