Blue is a 2-3 year old, neutered Pit Bull mix who has basic house manners.  He was a one-owner dog in a great home until a few weeks ago. We thought he'd be great for us with our other dog, but we later found out due to dog reactivity he will need to be a single-dog home. He seems to be insistent on being alpha and doesn't seem to respect a female owner. He's shown dog reactivity, and recently some aggressive tendencies towards other dogs. He's incredibly smart, super trainable, and has been very sweet in-home, friendly with people and kids. He needs a place where he can get his energy out and loves to sleep and snuggle. Buddy is very sweet approximately one year old, 53 lb. Staffordshire Bull Terrier mix. Buddy is an all around good guy, almost housebroken and crate trained. He is dog friendly with proper introductions and does well with dog savvy cats as well. Buddy is good with people of all ages, however, he can get a bit jumpy in his excitement and might knock a small child down. He is working on some calm manners and knows sit. Buddy loves his chew toys and loves to run outside with good recall when his name is called. He is the best snuggle bug at night when everyone is relaxing. Story
Max came to us from a "neglect" situation in Puerto Rico. He is the biggest ball of mush! He loves people and getting hugs and kisses and attention! However, Max is NOT socialized!! We have been taking him out into the community, and he does wonderful but does NOT do well with fast movement and needs an EXPERIENCED handler as he is a STRONG boy! He is non-reactive when in the pet store, and local Starbucks. He does pull when on leash and will come with his harness. He is crate trained but does bark when in the crate for a prolonged period of time. Alot of his "issues" can be solved with an experienced handler that knows the bully breed and can set appropriate boundaries for him. We listed him as special needs because due to coming from PR Max does have skin issues. He needs regular baths with oatmeal shampoo for dry skin and is prone to ear infections. He will come with his ear drops. He is fully vaccinated and neutered! We prefer Max be in an ONLY dog household.

Edgar came to us from an "unexpected" litter situation. He is a goofy boy, with a deep love for his people!!! He is shy at first, but once he warms up, he will want to be involved in EVERYTHING you are doing!! He cannot get enough cuddles and kisses!! Edgar is currently not neutered or vaccinated. However, we have a contract with Spay and Neuter now to have this accomplished through Town and Country Vet Clinic in Potsdam New York. So, the new adopter will have to sign an agreement to have the procedure done and provide proof within a months' time. Or, we can have it done while he is here, but it will take several weeks as they book out somewhat far in advance. Edgar is DOG SELECTIVE! So, his new adopter will have to be an ONLY dog family, or at most with one other FEMALE dog. No cats! He continues to be taken out and socialized but will need an adopter who can understand this and continue to work with him. He truly is an amazing boy with a serious zest for life and all it has to offer!
