Story
This handsome boy is Auggie, and he is a 57 pound pitbull mix who is sweet as can be. Auggie is about 5 years old. He is a ball of energy and very smart. His intelligence shines through in his quick learning and problem-solving abilities. He's energetic, always ready for a game of fetch or a brisk walk. Despite his zest for life, Auggie also knows when it's time to relax and enjoy quiet moments with his family. Auggie is a sensitive boy, and needs a calmer environment and a loving gentle hand. He can get nervous in loud environments. As a family dog, Auggie is loving and loyal, always eager to offer comfort and companionship. He is very loving and great around kids. He is great with other dogs, but may prefer to live as the only animal, or with calmer dogs. He would be the perfect addition to a family with an active outdoor lifestyle. Auggie is ready to find his forever family and join them for whatever adventures ahead.Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-served basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. ALL CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. His adoption fee is $200. Story
Gnorfbun is an 11 year old adorable pittie mix and 60 lbs of pure, sweet, cinnamon bun lovin. Ok, so, she needs a diet and has allergies, but this girl has all the love in the world to give. She loves going for walks as much as she loves snuggling. She's great with her 9-lb foster dog sibling and she's respectful of an older grouchy dog in the house. She wants to play with everyone, even the cats, even when they are not in agreement. But mostly, she ignores them and naps. She's been an instant favorite with kids and adults alike and we know you'll find a soulmate in her. To meet Gnorfbun, please fill out an application at http://caws.org/adoption-application. Story
Hi future family, my name is Ayla and I genuinely can't wait to love you. I was nervous when first arriving at my foster home but you wouldn't believe how fast I was able to come out of my shell. I absolutely love love, food, dogs, toys, cats, humans, etc. I can be a little weary and will bark at new men but once I realize they aren't going to hurt me I will love on them, too. I am the perfect mix of playful and sweet. I will go for a walk as long as you want, and play with my canine friends all day but am able to recognize couch time and am happy to just lay by your side and snuggle with you. I am still working on some basic manners and commands but I'm a quick learner and eager to please. I'm crate trained and potty trained, too. If you take a chance on me, I promise you will not regret it.To meet Ayla, please complete an application at http://caws.org/adoption-application. Story
This big guy is Bowie (fka Gambit). He was adopted as a puppy 2 years ago, but he was returned to us a few months ago. Bowie started having seizures and his adopter was not able to deal with them. We have spent the past few months working out a medication protocol that controls Bowie's seizures and lets him lead a good quality of life. Bowie is a big sweetheart. He is in a foster home with several other dogs of all sizes and a group of kitties as well. Bowie does well with all of them! Bowie is a bit independent, he doesn't snuggle much, but he's happy to just hang out with you. Bowie loves napping in the grass, going on car rides, walks around the neighborhood, and curling up in his bed while binge watching Netflix with you. And he loves the occasional bite of pizza! Bowie will need a special home that can continue his medication and vet care and will be able help him deal with his seizures if they happen. This gentle boy needs a loving family that will commit to love him forever. Bowie was born Feb 2021

Story
Meet Kamari, the new addition to your home! Kamari loves all things having to do with the outside, snuggling, & playing with fellow dogs! She is super goofy. Over the 2 years I have had her, we have worked hard on her obedience & confidence in meeting new people. She needs someone who will be patient & able to work with her for a couple of months until she gets comfortable. While she is very timid & scared of new people, she tends to do well around them with another dog present. She loves every dog she meets, & I would like for her to find a home with a dog friend that she can play with. Kamari is not a barker, unless she gets spooked by something. She has lots of energy but can also be left alone for long periods, but preferably not for multiple days in a row, she needs to get her energy out. She is crate trained & knows basic commands. I am extremely sad to have to to do this, but she deserves a better life than I can't give.

Story
Say hello to Bella, the charming and spirited pup who’s ready to steal your heart! Bella is all about playtime, especially with her fellow rescue pals—she could spend hours frolicking in the yard! While it may take her a little time to warm up, once Bella trusts you, she’ll shower you with endless affection and loyalty. Bella thrives on slow introductions with well-balanced dogs, making her an ideal companion for other furry friends that match her energy. She’s crate-trained and settles in easily, though her playful nature means doggy beds don’t stand a chance—they quickly become her favorite toys! Highly motivated by treats, Bella is eager to learn and responds well to training. She walks well on a leash but can get easily distracted, so a gentle leader might help her focus during outings. Though Bella prefers the comforts of home, she’ll need a little encouragement to embrace the joys of a walk. She can feel anxious around other dogs on her adventures, sometimes expressing her excitement a bit loudly. But remember, every rescue has their quirks, and Bella’s incredible qualities far outweigh any challenges! Bella is ready to find her forever home with a family that understands and loves her just as she is. If you’re looking for a sweet, playful companion who will fill your days with joy, Bella is the perfect match! To add Bella to your family, simply send us an email at springbranchrescue@gmail.com for adoption and fee information. She is wagging her tail and wiggling her butt at just the thought of finding her forever home and her story is just beginning. Her next chapter could be with you! Our adoption fee includes transport, all age required shots, microchip, & a health certificate from a licensed veterinarian. We look forward to receiving your application! We will review it shortly and give you a call to set up a phone interview.  We are thrilled to offer transport services every 3 weeks from Houston to the Pacific Northwest, the Midwest, and the East Coast, ensuring that these incredible pets can find their way to you no matter where you are. This makes the adoption process smooth and convenient, allowing you to focus on welcoming your new family member with open arms. Why should you adopt from a Texas Rescue? Because you will be giving one of our many dogs and cats in need a chance for a better future away from a city that has an animal crisis. We are heartbroken each day with the many incredible and loving animals found wandering our streets. So often are these animals dumped, abandoned, or born on the streets and never find a home to call their own. We are giving them the chance that every animal deserves. We know that since you are looking to add a furry family member to your home here, you will provide the love, care, and attention they need to thrive. Thank you for considering adopting and not shopping. ##2149754##
