Story
Chewy is a 1.5-year-old neutered male Pitbull/Boxer mix with a stunning brindle coat and a big, goofy smile that will melt your heart. With his high energy, Chewy would thrive in a home with a fenced-in backyard where he can run, play, and burn off that youthful energy. He absolutely loves playing fetch and will keep you entertained with his playful antics. Though he pulls a bit on the leash, using a harness makes walks more enjoyable for both of you. Chewy is highly motivated by treats, making training fun and rewarding. He would likely do best as the only dog in the home, where he can soak up all the attention and love. If you`re looking for a fun-loving, treat-obsessed, and loyal companion, Chewy is ready to be your new best friend!

Story
Peyton from the Chunky Bunch Litter is almost one year old and weighs 59 lbs. This handsome boy can be a little shy at first, yet he still makes the best first impression with his sweet and submissive nature. He is great with everyone he meets, including kids, cats, and other dogs. He would do well in a home with any combination, or he could be the only pet. He is also potty trained and kennel trained. His foster mom has nothing but great things to say about this boy, especially how well behaved he is for still being a puppy! Per Wisdom Panel, Peyton’s top breeds are American Pit Bull Terrier, Pembroke Welsh Corgi, and Border Collie. If you are interested in adopting Peyton, please submit an application at www.rescuerowinc.org! *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 3 business days. *You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a homecheck *Our adoption fees are as follows paid by cash, a check made out to Rescue Row, Venmo: @Rescue-Row or at Zelle: info@rescuerowinc.org Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs. ##1823983##

Story
Colt has come a long way since joining the rescue. Before his rescue, he lived in a crowded trailer home with 40 other dogs. When we first met him, he was so fearful that he would scream and potty when touched. But after just a month with us, Colt is gaining more confidence by the day! While he still gets nervous in new situations, with each outing, we see his tail go from tucked to wagging with joy. Colt is a social butterfly with other dogs and an absolute cuddle bug! He already knows how to sit on command, and his foster family is helping him learn to keep all four paws on the ground and not jump on people. He is potty trained, knows how to use a doggie door, and is kennel trained. Colt is nervous around small children so we are recommending if there are children in the home, that they are 13 year and older. Colt is 5 months old and currently weighs 25 lbs and is a Pit Bull, American Staffordshire Terrier, Pug, and Miniature American Shepherd mix. When fully grown, he is expected to weigh between 33-60 lbs. If you are interested in adopting Colt, please submit an application at www.rescuerowinc.org *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 48 hours. *You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a homecheck *Our adoption fees are as follows (paid by cash or a check made out to Rescue Row): Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee  Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee  Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. Story
Who's kiddo is ready for their first best friend? I know from experience, having an amazing dog with your child to bond with can be incredible!   It's been three years since this girl was rescued from the local shelter euthanasia list after her family tied her up in the back yard and moved out. She is yet to find her family and she is about to loose her foster family too.   Tracey will be another dog stuck in boarding if we cannot find her a new foster family or a FOREVER HOME.   Tracey is such a super sweet girl!   She absolutely loves kiddos, big and small and very much enjoys human time! Sunbathing and naps on the couch are her next favorite activities!   When we first pulled her from the shelter, I remember how nervous she was. She clearly hadn't experienced love, but you could tell she had a lot of love she wanted to give. She likely had never been inside of a home before. The TV completely freaked her out and she was shaking just walking in the door. Marleigh was almost 2 at the time. When Marleigh fell asleep on the bed, Tracey wanted to be next to her and she slowly belly crawled up on to the bed to be next to her. I could tell she was expecting to be scolded but that didn't happen and she layed right next to Marleigh, put her head across her back and went to sleep with her. She wanted to comfort Marleigh and being close to her clearly comforted Tracey as well.   Her first foster home didn't work out and she was moved to her current foster home when their son was just a baby. She always wanted to be next to him and has been fantastic growing up with him as well.   Tracey is so gentle and so loving and she deserves a family of her own to love.   PM us if you're interested in finding out more about this beautiful, goofy girl or fill out an application for adoption!   She is 5.5 years old, spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and successfully completed heartworm treatment in her time with us!   She is crate and potty  www.MarleighsFriends.org  ##544803##

Story
Serenity has been without a home for over four years! We came across her in June of 2019 at a local boarding facility.  We were told that she was abandoned there by another rescue over two years prior.  We had no foster for her, but we could not let this sweet girl live in a crate in the back room any longer and we moved her to a wonderful boarding facility where she was able to get exercise and socializing.  She stayed in boarding for an entire year before finding a foster. Since her rescue, Serenity has made great change.  She was extremely overweight and heartworm positive when we got her.  She is now healthy and heartworm negative.  She has come a long way with alot of training and love. Serenity does have some separation anxiety but she has gotten much better.  She would do best in a home with her human(s) home more often than not.  She would prefer to be an only dog, but she has made friends with dogs with similar, chill personalities.  She is NOT good with any small pets/animals.  She needs a strong handler who will continue to work with her on all that she has learned, and be mindful of surroundings when on walks. She loves car rides, kisses and naps.  She is much like a big cat.  She snores, she sleeps with her tongue hanging out and she will sploot (frog pose) right in your walking path and look at you like you're supposed to go around her, but she is the sweetest, loyal and most deserving pup of an amazing family.   If you're interested in meeting or finding out more about Serenity, please reach out.  You can fill out an application for adoption on our website. www.MarleighsFriends.org If you're interested in meeting this baby, please reach out or submit an application on our website. Please be sure to include your phone number on inquiries and check your spam folder for email responses! **Application and adoption fee apply** Pet adoption fees are $100-$150 for cats and $150-$400 for dogs (plus 8.25% required state tax), which includes; spay/neuter, all shots, deworming, and microchip.  All pets are current on heartworm/flea/tick prevention.    ##437666##
