Story
Can play with dogs, isn’t mean to children but gets too excited and jumps and licks. Play bites a lot but not hard enough to leave a mark. Needs to be trained but a super sweet dog with lots of energy. Would fit great with other dogs and loves to play. He is a little bit over a year old, we got him from the pound. We do have some blue buffalo dog food to come with Bandit. I do love the dog a lot but I don’t have the time to really train him and be consistent so he is pretty stubborn. He knows to sit, shake, and lay down, but usually only does it when he knows there’s a treat waiting. I’m sure he can learn with treats and with people who know how to work with dogs.Unfortunately I am busy getting ready to leave for college and parents don’t want him.

Story
Piper is one of a litter of 9 that ended up at the shelter when their owners moved and left them. The mom is a small terrier mix and dad is a mystery. Piper is doing great on leash and learning some basic commands. She loves her sister (Tippy) but we know they will probably need to be separated to be adopted.

Story
Shirley was found abandoned out in the country with her sister, Laverne, and their momma. She has been at the shelter for 4 years and is more withdrawn now than when she was as a puppy. She is definitely a special needs dog and would be a long-term project. She is extremely shy and will require lots of work to get her out of her shell.

Story
Sophie was rescued from the city pound. She was underweight, straving for food and attention. We are trying to give her extra food and extra attention. Sophie has a way of pleading with her eyes for someone to love her and she seems very grateful to be loved on! While she is very loving with people she doesn't care to be around other dogs. Sophie is smart and she is learning to walk on a leash and basic commands. She is ready to snuggle in a home with someone who needs love and attention just like she does!!!
