Story
Peyton from the Chunky Bunch Litter is almost one year old and weighs 59 lbs. This handsome boy can be a little shy at first, yet he still makes the best first impression with his sweet and submissive nature. He is great with everyone he meets, including kids, cats, and other dogs. He would do well in a home with any combination, or he could be the only pet. He is also potty trained and kennel trained. His foster mom has nothing but great things to say about this boy, especially how well behaved he is for still being a puppy! Per Wisdom Panel, Peyton’s top breeds are American Pit Bull Terrier, Pembroke Welsh Corgi, and Border Collie. If you are interested in adopting Peyton, please submit an application at www.rescuerowinc.org! *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 3 business days. *You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a homecheck *Our adoption fees are as follows paid by cash, a check made out to Rescue Row, Venmo: @Rescue-Row or at Zelle: info@rescuerowinc.org Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs. ##1823983##

DNA results are in for Princess, who is Scooters sister! According to Wisdom Panel, they are a mix of 9 different breeds with the top breeds being Pit Bull, Australian Cattle Dog and Weimaraner! Scooter is 2 years old and weighs 60 lbs. He is crate trained and potty trained and does not need to be adopted together. This is what his foster mom has to say about this handsome boy. Scooter is a very sweet cuddle bug and loves to puppy play with his sister, Princess. He is very smart and a good listener and obeys when asked to stop or come. He loves to play with toys, especially stuffed animals. He has not been cat tested, but gets along with kids and all other dogs. He would love to become a part of your family! If you are interested in adopting, please submit an application at www.rescuerowinc.org  *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 3 business days. Story
Colt has come a long way since joining the rescue. Before his rescue, he lived in a crowded trailer home with 40 other dogs. When we first met him, he was so fearful that he would scream and potty when touched. But after just a month with us, Colt is gaining more confidence by the day! While he still gets nervous in new situations, with each outing, we see his tail go from tucked to wagging with joy. Colt is a social butterfly with other dogs and an absolute cuddle bug! He already knows how to sit on command, and his foster family is helping him learn to keep all four paws on the ground and not jump on people. He is potty trained, knows how to use a doggie door, and is kennel trained. Colt is nervous around small children so we are recommending if there are children in the home, that they are 13 year and older. Colt is 5 months old and currently weighs 25 lbs and is a Pit Bull, American Staffordshire Terrier, Pug, and Miniature American Shepherd mix. When fully grown, he is expected to weigh between 33-60 lbs. If you are interested in adopting Colt, please submit an application at www.rescuerowinc.org *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 48 hours. *You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a homecheck *Our adoption fees are as follows (paid by cash or a check made out to Rescue Row): Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee  Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee  Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. Moxie is a playful girl who loves being near her people or outside playing with her canine brothers and sisters. Moxie plays well with other dogs and is always up for a chase around the yard or a tug of war. She is house and crate trained and gladly goes in her crate for meals and treats.Moxie is vocal but not excessive; more of a talker. She is good about letting you know when she is ready to go out or come back inside.Moxie is always close to her foster Dad, at his feet when he is working at his desk, cuddling on the couch, or curled up tight and as close as possible when it is time for bed.Moxie is just an all-around sweetheart, full of love and a spring in her step. She is fully vetted, spayed, microchipped, and on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.

Midnight is a playful love bug  who is 1 1/2 years old and 50 lbs lbs. He was rescued from a crowded shelter where he was overlooked and is now safe in foster care. He's one of our Diamond Dogs with a reduced adoption fee of $125. Midnight does great with other dogs but would do just fine as an only pet. He is neutered, vaccinated, on heartworm prevention, and microchipped. Midnight loves to snuggle and lay in your lap to catch a nap. He also loves playing with his toys and other dogs. Midnight loves attention and being with people.  Midnight is crate and housed trained.  You can apply to meet/adopt him here:https://legacyhumanesociety.org/adoption-application/ . Stay tuned for more pics and info as we get to know Midnight! We do not have a facility to house the dogs in our program. They are all kept in foster homes until they are adopted. Story
It is so hard to believe Bubbles has not been swooped up for adoption! She is now one of our Diamond Dogs, which are the pets we highlight as the Diamond in the Ruff seeking their forever home. Her adoption fee has been reduced to $125. DOB: 12/16/2022 Weight: 50lbs  Bubbles was left behind when her owner moved out of a rental property. Her roommate stepped up to care for her until a forever home could be found. Bubbles loves carrying her toys around and takes treats very gently. She knows how to sit, shake, lay down, and roll over on command and plays fetch. She's also house and crate-trained! Bubbles loves exercising in her yard several times a day and would do best in a home that can provide regular exercise. She does great with cats, but hasn't been around children so we're not sure how she would do. Bubbles is good with other dogs but needs to be fed separately from them.  Bubbles is current on her vaccinations, spayed and is heartworm negative. All she needs now is a forever home to call her own! Complete an online application today at: https://legacyhumanesociety.org/adoption-application/We do not have a facility to house the dogs in our program.
