Meet Tyson, affectionately known as "TY TY BOOTY," a 3-year-old pit bull who is really starting to come out of his shell. Tyson has a laid-back demeanor but enjoys a playful romp with other dogs in a little pittie rumble. While he hasn't shown off any zoomies yet, his curiosity keeps him eager to explore. Tyson is incredibly food and treat-driven, quickly hopping into his crate at bedtime in anticipation of a reward. Though he doesn't like being left alone and prefers to stay close to his people, Tyson is a sweet-natured pup with a hint of puppy mischief. He has a particular fondness for oven mitts and the occasional Amazon package, but with a bone to chew on, he settles down quietly. Tyson has been an easy foster. He might be a bit anxious around small children and large crowds but is wonderfully gentle with his foster family's 13-year-old autistic son. Tyson is looking for a loving home where he can be a loyal and wonderful companion. To see more pictures and videos, copy and paste this link. Story
Ginger is a resilient and loving dog who has come a long way from her days on the streets. When first rescued, Ginger was severely malnourished, but with dedicated care and plenty of love, she blossomed into the healthy, joyful dog she is today. Despite her rough start, Ginger's spirit shines in her affectionate nature and deep bond with her favorite people. One unique aspect of Ginger's appearance is her cropped ears, cut too short by her previous owners. Her fosters like to joke that maybe they secretly wanted a cat, and Ginger, with her unique look, carries it well! She's a wonderful snuggler, always ready to curl up beside you for a nap or lean in for extra affection. When it's playtime, Ginger transforms into an eager fetch partner, and when she's not running around, she loves basking in the sun. In addition to being very friendly with kids (having been fostered with teenagers), Ginger is also housebroken, making her easy to care for at home. She's great in a crate for a couple of hours, especially if she has a chew toy or a snack-filled Kong to keep her entertained. She also loves car rides and would make a fun, loyal road trip buddy. Although Ginger enjoys human company, she prefers to be the only dog in the household, where she can soak up all the love and attention. Ginger is ready to bring warmth, loyalty, and joy to a forever home that appreciates her unique charm and affectionate personality. Ginger is being fostered in Seguin, TX. She can be adopted in other states (except NH and MA due to their quarantine laws). Her adoption fee is $250 & her transport fee is $300 if adopted out of state. To apply for Ginger, please fill out her application below: https://www.shelterluv.com/embed/animal/FODS-A-527

Story
Meet Hazel, the 1-2 yr old staffordshire mix! She tested positive for heart worms but luckily after finding an amazing foster home she is now almost complete with treatment and it’s just waiting for the retest at this point. Hazel’s foster mom has nothing but good things to say about this girl. She harmoniously lives with 2 other dogs and 3 cats! She is a natural cuddle bug, loves sleeping with her caretakers at night and hanging out on the couch during the day while you watch your shows. But don’t let Hazel’s laid back personality fool you, this girl knows how to have fun! You will find her playing by herself in the backyard with her favorite stuffed toys. She is potty trained, crate trained, and has great leash manners! Interested in meeting Hazel? She would love to steal some kisses. I have tested heartworm positive. This means I have a parasite and need treatment. While my friends at HSNBA desperately want to help me, the shelter is too stressful an environment to undertake treatment and treatment itself is very expensive. The shelter has a few options to help with treatment, and if I steal your heart you should talk with them and your vet about what my treatment is like. For more information on heartworms, please visit the American Heartworm Society here https://www.heartwormsociety.org/pet-owner-resources/heartworm-basicsI am currently in a foster home and not at HSNBA, if you are interested in meeting me, please contact the nice folks at HSNBA so they can put you in contact with my foster family to set up a meet & greet. E-mail HSNBA at adoption@hsnba.org, call us at: (830) 629-5287 or stop by and speak with the folks at HSNBA at 3353 Morningside Dr. to get your information sent over to my foster home. My foster family is the best and can give you more information on me.HSNBA lists all animals online from the moment of intake, and our listings are updated automatically every midnight. Some of these animals may not be available for adoption at this moment, but you can always call the shelter at 830-629-5287 for clarification on the adoption process or the animal's current status.

I am currently in a foster home and not at HSNBA, if you are interested in meeting me, please contact the nice folks at HSNBA so they can put you in contact with my foster family to set up a meet & greet. My foster family is the best and can give you more information on me.Here is what my wonderful foster family has to say about me: “ Whelen is an absolute snuggle bug & goofball! He makes us laugh everyday. He definitely has velcro tendencies, so he is always by my side. He likes to stick his tongue out and sleep with his toys. He’s great on the leash, I’ve been trying to leash train him a little more before I take him on a walk. He sleeps in the kennel when he’s home alone but I know he would do amazingly with someone who stays at home. He likes to play fetch with tennis balls, we bought a Chuckit stick & ball, he loves that. He definitely needs room to run, he has a lot of energy. He is pretty vocal as well, but he won’t talk to us just out of boredom. He only barks if something is bothering him; like when he wants to come back inside and he’s waiting at the door. As for toys, I’d recommend hard plastic, long lasting chews/bones, and hard rubber—no silicone. Stuffies are fine but just watch him because he will get the stuffing out. He also loveeesssss enrichment and is very smart, so I’d recommend puzzles. For feeding, he’ll need a slow feeder. I’d suggest a more difficult one because he’s already figured our simple one & he’s able to finish 2 cups of kibble in about 7 mins. He only poops outside, he’ll only pee inside if you don’t take him out in time. But besides that, he’s potty trained to only use the restroom on grass. Oh and by the way, he will most likely poo in four different spots of a 2 ft radius. He doesn’t have any problems with touching/holding/tugging on his paws, ears, tail, or mouth. He lets us dress him with bandanas, but we haven’t tried clothes yet. He doesn’t show any aggression if I put my hands in his food/water bowl, or if I take a toy from his mouth. He’s quite curious so he’ll sniff EVERYTHING. He will also take your shoes as a toy, but he’ll chew on whatever toy you replace it with. He’s fine in the bath, he might try to jump out when your rinsing him but of course those are things we can work on. We have a wire fence and he’s never tried to jump it. I wouldn’t leave him unattended without any toys, he’ll find something to chew on. He is definitely an expert chewer. He only jumps if he gets really excited, but we try to minimize it because I know not everyone likes to be jumped on. He usually only gets zoomies outside and he might jump on you then. He He is amazing with kids, no problem with ages 4-10he hasn’t met other dogs while being with us, so I’m unsure how he behaves with other dogs. He does like to give a lot of kisses, so I would keep that in mind for his adopters. He is overall a dream dog & would be amazing in any household besides an elderly home.”HSNBA lists all animals online from the moment of intake, and our listings are updated automatically every midnight. Story
A home for patch!! here is the info for Patch. He is mostly white with some spots and a patch of brown on one eye. *The contact number is my cell phone (210)385-5956 *His age is about 5 months. We've had him since August 4th and a lady from an animal shelter estimated his age to be 2 weeks at the time. *At his last Vet. Visit more than a month ago he was like 24 pounds. So he probably 30lbs +? *His parents breed is unknown. He may be some kind of bulldog mix? *He is not yet neutered. *Gets along with puppies and cats. *Gets along with kids. *He has all his puppy shots, except for rabies. He had one dose of oral flea/tic medication, but no more since October. He waits to be let out of his crate to relieve himself when we get home from work. He is not leash trained. *We got patch when we went to look at a small dog (who got adopted) at the San Antonio animal shelter. He was estimated to be 2 weeks old by one of the shelter staff. He came in a cardboard box a guy found in his neighborhood. Along with 2 other puppies. He was the smallest or the three. Laying under the other two He was full of fleas and had some ticks on him. He was missing fur on all 4 paws, butt, tail, and nose area. He got better with medication. *They were not taking in any animals being at max capacity. And the lady that volunteered to take them home said she was a previous Chihuahua owner and was pretty sure they were Chinuahuas, I took him home and bottle fed him on my time off during Summer. *He is playful, energetic. He gives you his paw when he wants to play. *He's favorite toy is a long squeky toy. *He has a loud bark but doesn't bark a lot. *He is not trained but will SIT for treats. *He is an inside dog. *His crate is left open at night and he will voluntarily sleep in it most nights. *He is a hefty with big paws. * He is a very good boy, but is outgrowing our tiny rental. We don't even have a fence on our property. I would love for an individual or family with bigger children due to his strength to give him the loving home he deserves. Located in Canyon lake Tx contact +1 (210) 385-5956 re home fee $100 can get neutered at low cost clinic

TOBY still seeks a happy forever home, he is super sweet fine w dogs and cats. help me help him Update on Toby that seeks a home from lady that has him on porch Update post: From last Sunday when Toby (short for Toebeans) wandered onto our property until now is a world of difference! We’ve had him safe on our porch for just over a week, but can’t hold much longer. He is neutered, knows sit and listens when I tell him go back upstairs. He likes treats and the stuffed animal I gave him, and LOVES to get scratches. Urgent foster or Adopter needed to keep this poor boy off the streets . I know there has to be a kind family out there somewhere that cares enough to help make a difference. He is very friendly and I will work very hard on finding him his forever home he wants to come inside so bad!!! The that saved him off the street is keeping him outside on her porch and he gets very lonely and very hot please share this post and help me find a place for him to go We’re calling him Toby!!!He is around 5 years old, and under 45 pounds , This sweet boxer mix is neutered and so sweet. He gets along well with other animals. He was found in the streets of Seguin and if he would’ve been picked up by Animal Control, he possibly would’ve been euthanized. I kind lady is keeping him on her porch until we find a rescue, a foster, or an adopter for him, please consider saving an animal and changing its life. If you are interested in helping Toby, please text me for more information and details. Sunni Patrice Stalbird 830 237 8588
