Story
Can play with dogs, isn’t mean to children but gets too excited and jumps and licks. Play bites a lot but not hard enough to leave a mark. Needs to be trained but a super sweet dog with lots of energy. Would fit great with other dogs and loves to play. He is a little bit over a year old, we got him from the pound. We do have some blue buffalo dog food to come with Bandit. I do love the dog a lot but I don’t have the time to really train him and be consistent so he is pretty stubborn. He knows to sit, shake, and lay down, but usually only does it when he knows there’s a treat waiting. I’m sure he can learn with treats and with people who know how to work with dogs.Unfortunately I am busy getting ready to leave for college and parents don’t want him.

Story
Animal Rescue of Crosby County REQUIRES secure and safe fenced yards or fenced areas (apartments) for all ADOPTIONS. NO EXCEPTIONS! Daisy was originally found as a stray in Crosbyton. No one came forward so she was placed for adoption. Her original owner then came forward and claimed her. Daisy spent approximately a year with her owner but then he became unable to care for her. She was brought back to our rescue and has been here since November 2019. Daisy is a great girl. She is very high energy but once she gets that out she will relax. She needs lots of exercise. She would make a good companion for an active individual or couple. She would be great with older kids but is too rowdy for smaller kids. She gets along with other dogs but needs to be introduced properly. ##324189##

Story
Marty was picked up one evening in Lorenzo, Texas and taken to the local pound after being found chained up in a backyard where he was not being cared for. I’m sure he lived his whole life that way. Marty was scared to death at the pound. He wouldn’t eat, take treats or even look at anyone who entered his kennel. When someone entered he went to the back and cowered in fear or ran from them. One of our volunteers worked with him for weeks at the pound until he gained her trust. He finally began to let other people pet him and would even take treats from them. Marty is still a little skittish of people but would love a family of his own who will treat him right. Marty is a sweet boy but he is still a little skittish. He has been around other female dogs and done well with them but doesn’t like male dogs. Since he lived his life outside he is not crate trained or house trained. He does walk on a leash but will pull sometimes. Not sure of any food aggression because he hasn’t eaten around other dogs that I know of. He has done well on car rides though and I would say his energy level to be medium. ##1381214##
