Story
Romeo was dumped at our storage facility, along with his siblings and we were lucky to have found them. He was sick with Parvo when we brought him into the shelter. We nursed him thru, and he has grown into a big, happy boy. However, he does have some trust issues that have to be overcome with new people. He is terrified of meeting new people, so he will need and experienced and patient adopter. He will be a great dog once out of his shell, because we here at the shelter get to see how great he is, because we see it everyday. Playful, loving, he will be a great pet for someone who gives him a chance. Recommend he be in a home with no small children...older kids ok, no cats. He looks like he is mixed with chocolate lab, and his eyes match his coat.

Story
This sweet and goofy girl needs a home. She is a senior dog who has been at the shelter for over two years. She is looked at and considered frequently, but she is ultimately passed on. Molly loves her humans. She has been around children here at the shelter and adores them. She loves all adults. But Molly needs to be the only dog in a home that has no cats. Or farm animals. She does not get along well with other dogs and she does not seem to like cats...she has a high interest in them. But with humans she is, despite her age, still very playful, still very goofy. She will get excited and run zoomies all around you. She loves to play fetch. She can be a bit intense, she brings her A game to every encounter. But with the right family, she would be a great dog. Her best home would be with a fairly active adults or adult. She would like a good walk each day or some play time. She was housebroken when she was brought into the shelter. She likely still is, but we don't keep them indoors, but in indoor outdoor runs. She does use only her outside area, so we think she is likely still housebroken. If not, it would not be hard to bring her back up to speed. Older kids would be okay, but not smaller ones. Molly does play intensely so she may be too much for a child to handle. Most of her play energy diminishes after a few minutes of hard play, but still, she may jump into or run over a small child in her zeal, so we think children 12 and up would be recommended for her. As a senior dog, she does come with an adoption discount. She is spayed, up to date on all vaccines, and microchipped. HW free.

When it comes to toys, she’s a serial stuffie assassin—no plush toy is safe around her!At home, Lucy is a dream playmate, getting along splendidly with both senior dogs and energetic boxers. Snuggling is her specialty; she doesn’t understand the concept of personal space and prefers to be right in the mix of things. Already a pro at “sit” and “wait,” she’s honing her leash skills, though her athletic build makes it a workout.Special considerations for Lucy include her food allergy, so she’ll need to stick to her current diet or undergo testing to identify the culprit. Kids adore her, and she adores them right back, though her size sometimes gets the better of her excitement. She’s also your personal morning alarm, ensuring you never miss the start of a new day.Fab facts about Lucy: she’s a unique blue mantle marked Great Dane mix who adores other dogs and loves to befriend neighboring pups. She’s good with kids 5 years and up due to her energy level and would love a canine companion and an active household. Lucy loves to PLAY PLAY PLAY, is crate trained and potty trained, and gets along well with senior dogs and young dogs alike. She’s submissive yet playful, a snuggle champion (personal space not included), and makes entertaining noises while loving to talk smack or snacks. She loves water, running, sleeping, and snoring, and goes by several nicknames/aliases: Lucy Goosey, Goose, House Hippo, and Space Invader.Lucy is ready to rock your world with her playful antics, endless snuggles, and boundless love.
