Blueberry seems to be an American Pitbull Terrier, probably just around a year old, and was found as a stray. Since Austin Animal Center is not taking in strays, I agreed to foster her until I can find the right home for her. She has had at least 1 litter of pups and was in heat when she was found. She is now spayed and microchipped, has had all her vaccinations, and is ready for her forever human. She's very sweet and affectionate, a bundle of energy, and is incredibly smart. She's also crate trained, and house trained. She has a few favorite toys, but her most favorite is her Kong bone. She loves to run up to it and pounce on it and pretend that she's chased down and captured an incredible prize! Blueberry is great on walks, has great social skills, and likes to make human friends, but has some food/territorial aggression with other dogs, so would be best if she was the only dog in the household. Beaux is an amazing and loving friend. He is a 6 year old big ball of energy and a big baby. He loves children but I don’t recommend around babies or tiny children as he doesn’t know his own strength and size. He loves being outside and I would love for him to have a nice size yard that he can release his energy in. Beaux is not a big fan of other dogs, but he has lived with my mom’s dog for 2 years with no incidents. Beaux weighs 83 pounds and the vet said he is all muscle, so he will need an owner who can manage his strength. He had all his shots and goes to the vet every 6 months for check ups. He is perfectly healthy besides some skin irritation.
