We have been fostering Oreo since February 2025 when we found her as a stray near our home. Since our current dog is fragile and small (under 15lbs), we are in the process of seriously looking for Oreos forever home. She (ideally) needs to be with a loving family who has other large dogs, where she can expend her energy and develop companionship. This sweet girl desires connection, affection and love! Brody is a character of a dog. He has loved everyone the moment he meets them, and once he decides you`ve had enough time to settle in, he becomes velcro and attaches to your hip. Both of his foster grandmas have met him and would adopt him if they weren`t out of state. Getting pet is one of his favorite things, right after walks and treats. He currently has two pittie siblings and he enjoys having other pups to cuddle. Brody loves to sunbathe and would enjoy being a partial outside dog. He would make a great farm or ranch dog, as long as he always had access inside the house and a comfy bed to sleep in :) Brody would benefit from a forever home with an experienced dog owner(s). Young kids are not ideal, but he would be fine with other kids/teens. He does have some boundary issues so there will be a bit of trial and error for both him and you to figure out. Who loves movie night?! Jade does and she`s looking for a couch potato buddy. She`s also the hostess with the mostest - she loves having people over and is great at making sure everyone feels welcome!Her foster friends say, `Jade is house trained and low key in the house. She is not destructive & can be left alone, and she enjoys cuddling but is not super pushy. This girl loves to nap and loves to eat! AKA she is super easy to please. She also sleeps through the night like a gem and has to be woken up by her humans for breakfast. Jade lived with a toddler for 2 weeks and was incredibly gentle.Jade loves to sunbathe and chill in the backyard. She gets excited to zoom around when given the opportunity, but then reverts back to her calm, cuddly self in the house. Jade’s only “difficult” trait, which I assume is the reason she has yet to be adopted, is that she does need to be in an only pet home. However, with a family with a yard and no other pets, she would be the easiest dog ever and best companion!`

Lovebird`s foster dad says: `Lovebird is a playful and loving 2 year old dog! She enjoys slow, sniffy walks, but when she is out on an adventure or when she meets people she is a bundle of energy! She loves to explore her environment, and anyone that gives her attention is a new best friend that she hasn’t met yet. She loves everyone she meets! She is still working on staying calm and keeping all four feet on the ground, but she is getting better and is often happy to roll on her back for belly rubs instead of jumping. Lovebird is VERY house trained and never has accidents! A 15-minute morning and evening walk are enough for her bathroom needs. On the rare occasions she is sick and has to relieve herself outside of scheduled times, she will be very insistent that you let her out.Lovebird is very athletic, agile, and quick! She loves swimming, running and exploring, jumping up on things, as well as playing fetch and tug. She also likes to go to pet stores and other outings as long as there is space to redirect her away from other dogs. (At the shelter, Lovebird did have dog roommates and has been good with some dogs, but she is not good at meeting “stranger” dogs, so situations where they could approach her should be avoided.) She also knows some commands and is really good at sit, down, stay, wait, and touch, and has pretty good recall to the word “come!” She is getting better at loose-leash-walking but sometimes still pulls for squirrels, cats, or other animals. After burning some energy, she will spend the day just lounging around the house, chewing on her dog chews and lying in the sun on the balcony watching the world go by.`
