Story
Meet Hudson – The Sweet Soul Looking for His Fresh Start! Hudson is a loving, patient dog who is ready to leave his past behind and find the forever home he deserves. This sweet 7-year-old Pit Bull mix has had a tough time after being given up by the family that had him his whole life. Despite his past, Hudson is a calm, low-energy guy who is simply looking for a peaceful, loving home to call his own. Hudson is great with humans and enjoys being around people of all ages, although he prefers to avoid being picked on by younger children. He is also good with cats and gets along with other dogs, but he would thrive best as the only dog in the home. Hudson has shown some minor resource guarding behavior towards other dogs in the past, particularly around his bowl and bed, but he has never displayed any aggression toward humans. This easygoing boy loves short walks, playtime with his dog friends, and most of all—long naps on a cozy couch. He’s not much for high-energy activities but does enjoy the occasional splash in water and some quiet playtime. Hudson’s ideal home would be a calm, slow-paced environment where he can relax and bond with his new family. He is crate-trained, doesn’t pull on a leash, and is ready for a laid-back life of cuddles and Netflix & chill. 💙 What Makes Hudson Special: Breed: American Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed Breed (Medium) Age: 7 years old Weight: 74.4 lbs Health: Neutered, microchipped, up-to-date on shots Personality: Sweet, calm, low-energy, enjoys cuddling and lounging Location: The Dogslanding House Intake Date: 1/25/2024 Hudson is a loyal and loving dog who just wants to find someone he can trust to give him a peaceful, loving home. Could you be the one to give this sweet soul the fresh start he deserves?

Meet Peppa – Your Future Snuggle Buddy! Peppa may be short and squatty, but she’s a powerhouse of love and personality. At just under two feet tall and weighing 53 lbs, this sweet, loyal bully mix is ready to be the star of the show and capture your heart with her affection and adorable snorts. Peppa is all about love—she thrives on attention, treats, and plenty of belly rubs. Scratch under her chin, and you’ll hear her snort like a pig, which is one of the many endearing things about her. She’s an absolute cuddle bug and will show her affection through snuggles, kisses, and being close to her humans. What Makes Peppa Special: Human-Friendly: Peppa adores people of all ages, especially her 8-year-old foster brother. She’s affectionate and loyal, always ready for some quality time together. Single-Pet Home: Peppa would do best as the only pet in the home, as she thrives with all the attention on her. Diet: Peppa is sensitive to chicken but is currently thriving on a lamb-based kibble diet, making her diet easy to manage. The Details: Breed: American Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed Breed Age: 3 years old Weight: 53 lbs Health: Spayed, microchipped, up-to-date on shots Location: Foster Home Intake Date: 2/11/2024 Peppa is ready for her forever home—a place where she can be the only pet, showered with love and attention. Story
Requested: The honor of being your girl and having a home to call her own… Miss Bagel loves easy home living. A quiet, simple life suits her just fine. She’s happy with a comfy spot for naps, and if you would like to indulge her, she’s watching her figure of course, but some favs are liver treats, and safe, healthy chew treats. Affections and belly rubs really makes her heart sing. Miss Bagel will use her good home manners to stay home alone quietly while you’re away and she’s fully house trained like you would expect from a mature lady. When you return home, she’ll be waiting as your loyal friend and best listener, so expect to tell her all about your day. Need a reason to get out for walks? She’ll be happy to help you meet your goals because that keeps her in fit form too. She may just be the best choice you make for an easy de-stressor in life. People of all ages appreciate mature dogs because they meld easily into their lifestyle without requiring the energy output or decade-long commitment a young pup would need. Give Bagel a try by reaching out to her foster provider through the ADOPT ME button which starts an inquiry and discussion. Bagel is advocated for by her many shelter fans including ClassicCaninesATX who provide her wellness care through a local clinic. We take the guesswork out of her health status. Full medical records are available so an adopter can simply take over management of her care at our clinic partner, or they may transfer her records to their own vet provider. And all of this with a no fee adoption.

Story
Brody is a character of a dog. He has loved everyone the moment he meets them, and once he decides you`ve had enough time to settle in, he becomes velcro and attaches to your hip. Both of his foster grandmas have met him and would adopt him if they weren`t out of state. Getting pet is one of his favorite things, right after walks and treats. He currently has two pittie siblings and he enjoys having other pups to cuddle. Brody loves to sunbathe and would enjoy being a partial outside dog. He would make a great farm or ranch dog, as long as he always had access inside the house and a comfy bed to sleep in :) Brody would benefit from a forever home with an experienced dog owner(s). Young kids are not ideal, but he would be fine with other kids/teens. He does have some boundary issues so there will be a bit of trial and error for both him and you to figure out. This sweet boy came from a rough past so it`s understandable, but he is so eager to gain your love! Brody is a gem and deserves the world. Can you be his forever home? He`s ready to go home. If you aren`t able to adopt this sweet boy, please follow him on Instagram @pitstoptofurever and share his photos to help his forever family find him.
