Meet Dwayne! He is a 2 year-old Boxer mix and weighs 70 pounds. Dwayne has a great personality, he&#39s very goofy and loves to make everyone laugh. He a still a big puppy at heart and loves to play. He will want to be the top dog in the home, so a playful easy going dog in the home would be best. Dwayne also knows basic commands and loves his toys! The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $250.00 and that includes their vaccinations, spay or neuter, rabies and microchip. Our dogs are also heartworm negative (or we will cover their treatment). Story
Wacha is a 5 year old pittie mix, weighing in at about 50 lbs. She’s spayed, house broken and potty trained; extremely playful, affectionate and cuddly!  Wacha is an active, athletic girl that will be best paired with a family who provides the physical activity she so enjoys!  Maybe introduce her to “dog sports” like agility, nose-work, or just a running partner. Wacha doesn’t appreciate cats, and can be “dog selective”. A home with small children wouldn’t be good because of their unpredictability, but she loves older children and adults. If you feel your home might be the right place for this wonderful dog, the place to start is with the adoption application found at www.dfwrescueme.org/adopt.  Once submitted, the foster will contact you to tell you more, and to arrange a meeting! The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $250.00, which includes their vaccinations and spay/neuter. Wacha is participating in the DFW Rescue Me Guest Dog Program, so custody and ongoing care are provided by the foster, not by DFWRM.October 14, 2024, 10:13 pm

Story
This is Hunter, a blue nose pit/ lab mix about to be 3 y/o on August 20th! He loves dentley’s bones and going on trips! He isn’t friendly with other male dogs but is friendly with other female dogs! He would be great in just a 2 dog household and even better if it is just him! We are unsure how he is with toddlers but older children he should be fine with. He doesn’t like his ears touched too much and he doesn’t like being picked up… but loves cuddles, belly rubs and walks! He is also e-collar trained but still follows basic commands without the e-collar! Hi I'm Kiera! People are my favorite thing in the whole world! I cannot contain my excitement when people come near me! After I greet you and wiggle my body all over then I can relax with you and hang out on the couch. I am crate trained but I would prefer to sleep next to you on the bed. I get along with dogs my size and who like to play a lot. I can play a little rough sometimes so I would do better in a home with a dog who likes to play like I do. I love kids but I would do better in a home with older children due to my excitement when people come and I forget how big I am. Angel is a sweet and snuggly girl who loves nothing more than curling up in her bed after a fun day. She’s a bundle of energy when it’s time to play, especially when she’s doing zoomies in the play yard or chasing after her favorite squeaky toys. Angel has a bit of a selective taste when it comes to her canine friends, so she would thrive best in a single-dog household where she can be the center of attention. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will fill your days with joy and your evenings with cuddles, Angel is the perfect match for you!Come meet Angel and let her win your heart with her loving personality and playful antics. She’s ready to find her forever home—could it be with you?The adoption fee for this pet is $75. This cost includes spay/neuter, microchip, and all vaccines.December 10, 2024, 4:26 pm

😍🐕 ADOPT RANGER! 🐕😍 Ranger is the cutest little guy! He's just a baby and is still learning about the big wide world. He LOVES to play and would love to find a family with another doggie BFF for him. He thinks toys are just wonderful. Ranger plays hard and then crashes hard wherever he might be at the time. He can seriously sleep anywhere! Ranger is a sweet boy. He hates the rain and thinks having wet paws is beneath him. He prefers to wear a sweater when it's chilly. He's a silly, fun-loving pup, and he'd love to bring some happiness to you! Please consider making Ranger a part of your family. ADOPTION APPLICATION: www.tinyurl.com/IADRAdoptionApp ***IMPORTANT- PLEASE READ*** Our adoption fee is $175. Story
😍🐶 ADOPT STABLE 🐶😍 This handsome boy got to go to “school” and learned all about how awesome he is. We wanted him to have a name that reflected our goals for him to overcome his lack of confidence, and “Well Balanced” sounded more like a cereal name, so…Stable it is! Stable had a pretty rough start in life after being abandoned in an apartment, which left him scared and insecure as a young pup. He went into the shelter and after a foster came forward asking to help him, he became part of the I Am Dog Rescue family. Something that’s really important for young pups (and any dog) to learn is how to make good choices (we want them to do “this” vs. “that”). When they are provided too much guidance and aren’t given the opportunity to make any decisions, they aren’t able to learn the “right choice” vs. a bad decision (chew on my bone vs. chew on this chair, for example). Unfortunately, Stable wasn’t in an environment where he was able to build confidence and learn how to make good decisions, so he needed some extra help to become a happy, balanced best friend for a family. Stable’s time in training has been fantastic for him. He is a happy-go-lucky boy who still has some goofy puppy in him, which we guarantee will make you laugh every single day. He LOVES snacks and learns quickly, which means he has unlimited potential. Stable loves to play and thrives in a home where he knows what is expected of him. He is just so handsome, and he isn’t above using his charm to talk you into extra playtime, more snacks, and additional snuggles. Stable would love to have an easygoing, confident doggy pal in his new home, and he’d prefer to avoid little kiddos and kitties. As part of Stable’s adoption, we are including sessions with Stable and his professional training team to help with the transition into a new home. Sharing all the awesome things we’ve learned about what motivates Stable and understanding his approach to new situations will help him and his new family bond quickly and give him a chance to be the very best companion. She's a smartypants with the most adorable zoomies ever, and she'd love to show them off to you in your yard. She's hoping to find a family who will take her with them everywhere they go and who thinks squeaky toys are as fun as she does. Oreo will work for snacks, and she's eager to please. She can be a little sassy, so it'll be important that she goes to a home that will provide structure and leadership as she continues to grow up to be the bestest girl.
