Story
My daughter adopted Natasha (Tasha) from the Austin Humane Society on April 1, 2023, but has moved to Ireland to go to school. Tasha is a very affectionate dog that loves human contact. She walks on a leash, is house broken, and loves chew toys. Tasha is up to date on shots and preventive meds. She did have heart worms when we got her, but went through treatment and is all clear now. We are also planning moving and can not take Tasha with us.

Introducing Chloe, the spirited 7-year-old rescue terrier with a heart as big as her 70-pound frame. This lovable canine companion is a cherished member of her foster family. With a zest for life, Chloe's favorite pastime is embracing the great outdoors, where she can be found either playfully frolicking in the grass, basking in the sun, or on her favorite spot - the cozy couch. Chloe is a well-mannered, house-trained beauty, adored for her affinity for both adventure and relaxation. She's a pro at the art of lounging but equally enthusiastic about exploring new places, especially if it involves a thrilling car ride. Her kennel-trained demeanor showcases her discipline and intelligence, making her a delight to be around. One of Chloe's most endearing qualities is her love for company, especially when it comes to puppies - she joyfully engages in playtime, demonstrating her gentle nature. This sweet girl has a special fondness for other dogs, particularly those who are more submissive. A meet-and-greet with potential furry friends is recommended, as Chloe's gentle nature truly shines in the company of like-minded companions. Nothing brings out her contentment more than belly rubs and the warmth of a caring hand. Chloe's boundless affection and playful spirit make her not just a pet but a cherished family member, reminding everyone lucky enough to know her that rescue dogs like her have an extraordinary capacity for love and happiness. She is fully vetted, heartworm negative & on preventatives, spayed, & microchipped. She is being fostered in a home in Seguin, TX.

Story
Meet Tyson, affectionately known as "TY TY BOOTY," a 3-year-old pit bull who is really starting to come out of his shell. Tyson has a laid-back demeanor but enjoys a playful romp with other dogs in a little pittie rumble. While he hasn't shown off any zoomies yet, his curiosity keeps him eager to explore. Tyson is incredibly food and treat-driven, quickly hopping into his crate at bedtime in anticipation of a reward. Though he doesn't like being left alone and prefers to stay close to his people, Tyson is a sweet-natured pup with a hint of puppy mischief. He has a particular fondness for oven mitts and the occasional Amazon package, but with a bone to chew on, he settles down quietly. Tyson has been an easy foster. He might be a bit anxious around small children and large crowds but is wonderfully gentle with his foster family's 13-year-old autistic son. Tyson is looking for a loving home where he can be a loyal and wonderful companion. To see more pictures and videos, copy and paste this link. Story
Ginger is a resilient and loving dog who has come a long way from her days on the streets. When first rescued, Ginger was severely malnourished, but with dedicated care and plenty of love, she blossomed into the healthy, joyful dog she is today. Despite her rough start, Ginger's spirit shines in her affectionate nature and deep bond with her favorite people. One unique aspect of Ginger's appearance is her cropped ears, cut too short by her previous owners. Her fosters like to joke that maybe they secretly wanted a cat, and Ginger, with her unique look, carries it well! She's a wonderful snuggler, always ready to curl up beside you for a nap or lean in for extra affection. When it's playtime, Ginger transforms into an eager fetch partner, and when she's not running around, she loves basking in the sun. In addition to being very friendly with kids (having been fostered with teenagers), Ginger is also housebroken, making her easy to care for at home. She's great in a crate for a couple of hours, especially if she has a chew toy or a snack-filled Kong to keep her entertained. She also loves car rides and would make a fun, loyal road trip buddy. Although Ginger enjoys human company, she prefers to be the only dog in the household, where she can soak up all the love and attention. Ginger is ready to bring warmth, loyalty, and joy to a forever home that appreciates her unique charm and affectionate personality. Ginger is being fostered in Seguin, TX. She can be adopted in other states (except NH and MA due to their quarantine laws). Her adoption fee is $250 & her transport fee is $300 if adopted out of state. Story
"Mirror, mirror on the wall, who is the goodest girl of all" This is definitely Delia's daily mantra. This pretty girl loves to look at her reflection in the mirror, and we can see why. Her foster mom shares this is the first thing Delia does when she wakes up and exits her kennel;check her mirror. This silly girl will smile and if you ask her nicely she will show you her pearly whites! Delia is currently in a foster home with children and other dogs and she loves them all! She is the biggest sweetheart and loves every dog (resident dogs and foster dogs). She reads the other dogs energy and is very friendly and respectful. If there is a dog who is less friendly or social, Delia respects this and gives them space. She does great on introductions and making new human and doggie friends. Have a busy schedule? No worries because Delia does well with her foster mom's busy schedule and knows her routine. Her usual routine includes, walks, meals in her kennel and 4 potty breaks a day. She is leash trained and gets especially excited when it is time for her walks. Delia is crate trained and recognizes that her crate is her safe space. This little diva is would make a great addition to any home! If you would like to meet her or if you have any questions about her, please reach out to us!

Story
Chai says hello internet world, look at me! He is now accepting applications for his new people! This sweet guy is such a charmer who has been through a lot in a short time. Our team found him as a stray roaming solo for weeks. He was looking for help everywhere! Smart boy was approaching people walking and even hanging out at the high school! Chai absolutely loves people, he's never met a human he didn't love immediately. One of Chai's favorite things to do is visit McDonald's for cheeseburgers! His foster reports he loves car rides and receives the sweetest kisses while they cruise! If this is the kind of dog you want, Chai is your boy! Directly from Chai's foster, "In 10 years of shelter and foster work I've met very few dogs who love humans more than Chai. He is one of the most affectionate dogs I've ever known. When you consider what he's come through his trust and love of people is pretty amazing." Chai is great on the leash and does really well with an EZ Walk or Freedom harness. However, he will need a careful eye and a short leash while walking because he does enjoy trying to catch lizards, bugs, critters. His foster and trainer are activlely working with him on good manners! That said he's a young energetic boy and would excel with families who have kids 12+ Chai just wants to be part of the family. He'd love an active family that wants to encorporate their dog into their daily life. He'd love a family that understands the value of some training and is willing to give him some grace while he overcomes his difficult start in life. Most importantly he wants a home where he gets to snuggle his humans as much as possible.
