Story
Hi, everypawdy! My name is Grace. I'm a beautiful, loving soul who is looking for a family to call my own. Walks, runs, and hikes are a few of my favorite hobbies. Attention and being pet are necessities as well, of course! A good cuddle at the end of a long day will fill me with joy. My foster family says I'm smart as a whip...I already know how to sit, heel, halt, and more! A good treat and some cuddles are enough to motivate to learn like a pro. I love being near my favorite humans, and playing with my favorite toys. If you want a reason to smile every single day, then I am the pup for your family. If you are interested in adopting Grace, please fill out an adoption application at https://bfp.org/rescue/ and email us with questions: adopt@bfp.org. Location: TULSA, OK

Story
Belikin was found wandering by himself on a beach in Belize...just a tiny little puppy skin and bones..pitiful. The American couple who found him couldn't leave him behind so they found a way to bring him home to Tennessee with them. He has grown into a beautiful dog who is very affectionate and loves being with people. He is house-trained, e-collar trained and leash trained. He travels well in a car. Due to Belikin's rough start where he was basically nearly starved to death, he has always been very possessive of his food and understandedly so. He has been hand fed and will allow the nice gentleman who found him to take his food way with no issues. However, he does not like other animals around when he is eating. The family who saved him has 3 other older dogs, 3 cats and 2 small children living with him so unfortunately the current living situation isn't ideal for Belikin. Belikin is such a loving pet but would be best as the only dog in his home due to his possessiveness. The first step to meet and possibly foster or adopt Belikin is to fill out this application....link is below.... copy and paste into your browser: https://tinyurl.com/keelysadoptionday

Story
He is a very good dog. We were told he is a little over 1 year old. He could use a little more training but he knows sit and is learning lay down. He could use some more leash training but we are trying. We call him Dogmeat (from the video game Fallout) but I'm sure no one will want to call him that. We got him from a lady who was fostering him but was ready to take him to a shelter or animal control. He is pretty good in our apartment but we just need to find him a good home. He is due for shots but he has an appointment for July 25th at the moment. He is flea and tick treated and on heartworm prevention. All we ask is for $30 to cover this listing fee and that he goes to a loving home. He deserves to have a good family now.

Story
Allow me to introduce Daisy. She showed up at my 3rd floor apartment door on February 23rd during a rainstorm. She was cold, scared, and wet. I was able to earn her trust, get her warm and dry and finally in my home, where she immediately made herself at home on my couch. I took her around the next day to see if I could find where she belongs, posted on multiple socials and message boards, and took her get scanned for a microchip. All of that came up empty. She is now fully vaccinated and microchipped. Currently coming off of a bought of kennel cough and an absolute sweetheart. I have two cats that she keeps trying to get close enough to play with them, but they ain't having none of it. Quick Stats: - Roughly 50lbs & 1yr old - Thinks she's 15lbs and loves to cuddle - Gray with white paws and chest - Not spayed (if deal breaker, will make sure that is done before adoption) - Leash trained * - House trained * * mostly, any shortcomings here are on my, I'm not used to doggos.

Story
Located in Memphis, Tennessee but we do adopt out of state for the right fit. From Bonnie's foster mom: Bonnie is one of the sweetest dogs I have ever fostered. Everyone that has met her has fallen in love with her. She is a cuddle bug and a velcro dog. All she wants to do is be with her human. She enjoys dog chews, toys, and treats but her favorite thing in the world is attention from her human. She loves men, women, and kids. She is always happy, gentle, and appropriately behaved with whomever she meets. She walks well on a leash and really enjoys walking in the park. Bonnie loves car rides. She gets in the car well on her own, but is a little afraid when jumping out, probably due to her vision impairment. She is calm in the car and always falls asleep. She has done great with other dogs she has met in my home and at the shelter. However, she needs a patient dog because due to the lack of vision in her right eye, she tends to bump into other dogs when walking or playing. She seems to really enjoy following my dog around the yard and just doing whatever he is doing. Bonnie is a medium energy dog. She is very playful with other dogs and is also very vocal in her play. She doesn't always pick up on social cues from other dogs, but she does take corrections well. All in all, Bonnie is a wonderful, intelligent, social dog. She has so much love to give and is so deserving of a forever family that will return that love. If you can give the perfect home to Bonnie, please complete the application at the following link: https://www.battleforthebully.org/adoption

Story
Location is Tennessee Tater is a sweet, chonky, loveable 3-year-old bully mix. The Good: Tater LOVES training and taking long walks. He has a great recall and is really good at ignoring other dogs and people on walks! He is crate trained and potty trained and loves to snuggle with his people. Tater gets SOOOO excited his whole body will wiggle, and yes, it is the CUTEST! Tug is one of his favorite games, and he loves playing with Jolly Balls & in his pool in the summer. I know it sounds like Tater is PERFECTION (we think he is!) but there are some really important things to know... Tater's Situation: Tater spent the last few years of his life living in a home with two other canine siblings. When Tater had access to ample exercise and socialization with humans (Tater could go to work with his mom!), he did well with the other two dogs. Unfortunately, due to unforeseeable changes in his mom's life, Tater was no longer able to go to work, and longer work hours plus a new baby made exercising Tater & the other dogs extremely difficult. Tater and one of his siblings began to have conflicts that escalated to the point of it becoming an unsafe environment for Tater and his doggy sibling. We placed Tater in a foster to adopt home that we were hoping would be just right, but unfortunately the foster sibling in that home will not give Tater a chance, and the foster parents do not have the time to remediate this situation. For the safety of Tater and his foster sibling, it is imperative that Tater be moved as soon as possible. As a result of all the changes in his world, he has become overstimulated with lack of enrichment and exercise. Resource guarding items, whether it is toys or food is a response Tater has developed to help himself feel safe. This is not an appropriate behavior, and Tater will need to continue training with an experienced trainer that can help a potential family with getting Tater back to his confident self without fear or resource guarding. Tater's Needs: Tater is NOT for a first-time dog owner. He needs an experienced dog owner who will be completely committed to his success. Tater needs a job to do and plenty of exercise and enrichment to keep his brain engaged. We are currently hoping for a home with no other dogs, due to the failure of Tater with his foster sibling, though we could consider homes with other dogs with stable temperaments and plans to keep Tater and his siblings safe. We also do not recommend homes with young children (under the age of 13), because of Tater's history of resource guarding. Tater has had an evaluation from a trainer and a veterinarian who both believe Tater has the potential to shine in the appropriate home, but unfortunately everyone has given up on Tater thus far. If interested in Tater, please complete the following application: https://www.battleforthebully.org/adoption Please contact lovingthebullies@gmail.com with questions.
