In late November, nine adorable puppies, approximately five weeks old, were rescued from Memphis's cold, scary streets alongside their beautiful black-and-white pittie mom. Now safe, warm, and thriving in a loving foster home, they’re soaking up all the love, care, and snuggles they can get.These pups are growing up surrounded by other dogs, curious kitties, and lots of human affection, making them well-socialized and ready to become cherished members of their future families. While their dad(s) are a mystery, their personalities are already shining bright!We hope to bring these sweet babies to New England by the end of December, just in time to find them foster and forever homes. If you want to add a playful, cuddly, and loving companion to your family, one of these pups could be your perfect match!Breed: Pit Bull Terrier/CrossbreedAge: 6 weeks as of 12/7Weight: Spayed/Neutered: Too young - Spay/Neuter Contract will be required and strictly enforced.Vaccinations: Puppy vaccines will be up to date - all vaccinations required after adoption are the responsibility of the adopter.Heartworm: Too young (testing is done at 6 months of age)Housetrained: Not usuallyMicrochipped: YesLocation of dog currently: Memphis but they will arrive to New England prior to adoption.Puppy Adoption Fee: $550.00 (includes a spay/neuter surgery rebate to be paid to the adopter when proof of spay/neuter is provided to Paws New England). We can provide adopters with a list of low-cost SN clinics when requested. The adoption fee also includes the transport fee.ATTENTION PUPPY ADOPTERS: You must attend training/behavior classes with your new dog unless you are an experienced dog owner and your adoption coordinator is comfortable with your experience. This requirement is for the benefit of you and your puppy, so if you experience behavior issues, you have a point of contact. PLEASE—Think long and hard before adopting a puppy. Consider the lifestyle change this puppy will come with. He cannot be crated for more than 3-4 hours until he's older. Puppy-proofing your home will be necessary. Puppies scratch and nip, so if you have small children, can they handle this? Training will be so crucial in this puppy's life.
