Story
Chucky is a smart, playful, and affectionate pup who adores his family, including small children. He loves snuggling up in the recliner, imagining he's a 60-pound lap dog, and takes his "job" of protecting his people from any ball-like object very seriously! Chucky is great on leash walks, only tugging lightly, and enjoys new toys (though squeakers don't stand a chance!). With a curious nature and a love for just about any snack, Chucky would make a loyal and loving addition to any home. York County SPCA 3159 Susquehanna Trail North York, PA 17406 Kennel #: 3537

Story
Meet Piper! This sweet, gentle girl may take a little time to warm up, but once she does, she'll melt your heart with her cuddles and gentle nature. Piper loves to burrow her head under your arm for pets and has an adorable snore when she sleeps. She's a low-energy, couch-loving companion who enjoys quiet time and has a calm demeanor around other dogs, showing respect for their space. While Piper has shown some fear around men, especially with sudden movements or loud noises, she's made progress in approaching her foster dad for pets when he's calm and patient. Her ideal home is a peaceful, patient environment where she can feel safe and build trust at her own pace. Piper has shared playtime at the shelter with dogs like Clyde, Dumpling, Scrappy, and Apple Cider, showing her potential as a lovely companion for other respectful dogs. If you're ready to offer Piper a gentle hand and a loving home, she'll reward you with endless affection and those lovable, floppy ears that lead the way to her heart. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Aggie is a joyful, wiggly girl who will make you feel like the most important person in the world. With her always-wagging tail and eager-to-please personality, she’s your personal fan girl, ready to shower you with love and excitement. This sweet, fast little rocket could thrive in dog sports like fast CAT or agility but has a medium energy level—ready for play and exploration, then happy to settle as a couch hippo when it’s time to relax. Dog-friendly and a bit goofy around awkward pups, Aggie enjoys playing with her foster sisters and boyfriends, like Toby and the neighbor’s dogs. She’s making great progress on potty training and house manners, proving her intelligence and adaptability. Whether you’re looking for a yardwork buddy, a loyal companion, or a dog with the potential to earn ribbons, Aggie might be the perfect fit for your family. Story
Loki is a little over 2 years old. His birthday was July 4th, 2022. He is an amazing dog. He is great with my kids who are 5, 8 and 12. He is great with our cats, doesn't really pay them any mind. He knows sit, Paw, other Paw, lay, go lay down, out(when we are eating) and sometimes wait/stay. He is completely house broken and crate trained. He is easily excitable but will calm down rather quickly. His main issue is his high anxiety and he has a fear of men. We adopted him from the SPCA and did not know his background. After a little research I found out that the man of the family that he was previously with was extremely abusive. We have had him since January of this year and my Fiance(male) and I have been trying to work through these issues. Some days are ok but most days Loki wants nothing to do with my Fiance. Nothing we have done seems to be permanently helping and it's not fair to Loki to be living like this. A home with kids and woman would be the ideal home for him.
