Hi, I’m Eggnog! I might have been a little nervous when I first walked into my foster home, but it didn’t take long at all for me to gain confidence and start soaking up all the love. I’m a friendly, affectionate guy who adapts quickly and loves being part of whatever my people are doing. I love toys—especially tug toys—and I’m always up for playtime until I wear myself out and switch to snuggle mode. I have the softest coat, take treats very gently, and I’m a quick learner. I’ve already started picking up cues like “touch,” and I listen well and redirect easily. I’m still working on housebreaking, but I’ve been trying really hard and improving every day. I walk great on a leash and would make an awesome hiking or adventure buddy, but I also know how to relax and hang out at home. I’d be happiest with an active family who wants to play, train, and cuddle—I give the best snuggles. I’m a sweet, affectionate puppy who loves being close to my people—my favorite spot is right next to you, preferably touching, and at night I’ll happily snuggle up with my head resting on your back. He’s loyal, affectionate, and loves being around people. He is 5 years old. However, he cannot be around cats or smaller animals. He would thrive in a home with a fenced yard, no small pets, and someone who can give him the attention and love he deserves. This is a tough decision, and we’re only doing it to make sure he goes to the right environment where he can truly be happy and safe.
