Story
Meet Mr. Jack! We know, we know, HE IS SO HANDSOME!! Jack is also extremely sweet and LOVES belly rubs. He is great with other pups his size and larger, but hasn’t been around small dogs or kids. We do know that he isn’t a fan of cats though and likes to chase the small rodents in the yard. Jack LOVES to eat and is very food motivated, which is great for training. He knows his basic commands, but can be stubborn at times and likes to be bribed with a treat. He is house+crate trained as well, and does very good in his crate! Jack has lots of energy and would LOVE a fenced in yard in his forever home. If not fenced in, then an active family that would like to take him on walks or runs, hikes, and family vacations of course! If Jack would be perfect for your family, please apply! He can’t wait to be part of your family! ================================================================= If interested in adopting one of our available pets, please fill out an application at http://www.dixiegirldogrescue.org/adopt-form PLEASE MAKE NOTE- OUR DOGS ARE FOSTERED IN ALABAMA (UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED), OUR DOGS TRANSPORT NORTH TO THEIR NEW FAMILIES AFTER THEY HAVE BEEN ADOPTED. Story
This beautiful girl is ready to be the STAR of your life!⭐️ Star is an approximately 5 year old female pittie girl. She is petite in frame and just a sweet, gentle love. She has been THRIVING in her foster home and now she is ready to find a family of her own!😍 This sweet girl loves belly rubs and laying around the house or outside in the sun. She is a BIG fan of stuffed animals and can be found carrying them around the house! Her foster mama has been teaching her how to decipher between kid toys and dog toys but sometimes it’s hard to tell the difference🤪 When asked about Star’s personality, her foster mom says “you will absolutely fall in love with this girl. She is sweet and just wants to be close to you! She is low energy and crate trained, and all she wants in life is a warm bed to lay her head on, and infinite belly rubs.”💕 Star is great with other dogs after proper introductions and has a dominant play style, so she does best with patient playmates who aren’t easily offended😉 She would do well in a home with or without another pup, and would LOVE to have kids in her forever home - she thinks they’re pretty awesome. Star would make the perfect companion for just about anyone willing to give her a chance.🐾 If interested in adopting one of our available pets, please fill out an application at http://www.dixiegirldogrescue.org/adopt-form PLEASE MAKE NOTE- OUR DOGS ARE FOSTERED IN ALABAMA (UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED), OUR DOGS TRANSPORT TO THEIR NEW FAMILIES IN PENNSYLVANIA AFTER THEY HAVE BEEN ADOPTED. 🐾Juno🥰 Female, adult pittie mix that was "country before country was cool" 🤠 Unfortunately, Juno lost her human a year ago & she’s been trying to figure out what life has for her next🖤 Her foster mom has taught her to walk calmly on leash, sit, she's still working on " leave it"... and although she a medium to large girl, she thinks she is a lap dog! 💕 Smart, energetic, (will play tug of war with rope forever) & LOVES to fetch the ball!! 🎾 Beautiful, sensitive girl looking for her forever family 🏡 If interested in adopting one of our available pets, please fill out an application at http://www.dixiegirldogrescue.org/adopt-form PLEASE MAKE NOTE- OUR DOGS ARE FOSTERED IN ALABAMA (UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED), OUR DOGS TRANSPORT TO THEIR NEW FAMILIES IN PENNSYLVANIA AFTER THEY HAVE BEEN ADOPTED. 🐾PEARL🎀 A lot of dog in a beautiful little package 😍 A “wiggle butt,” her backend never stops wiggling with joy and excitement!💥 ISO a family who will give her a lot of attention and LOVE🥰 She has a snort that kind of sounds like a laugh, and is obsessed with kissing!😘 She will wrestle her foster mom’s son to the floor and will lick his face for an hour if he were to let her. 🤪 She does like to chew things so stuffed animals and shoes need to be kept out of reach if they aren’t “hers”🧸 She is working on leash training and potty training and learning quickly! 💯 She LOVES to eat, especially treats, which will make her so fun to train! 🍪 She loves kids and adult humans once she gets to know them, and loves other dogs with proper introduction! 🐕 In her forever home, she needs a yard to run because she is always full of energy! One of her favorite things to do is to go in the driveway and roll over on her back and roll around. 🐾 If interested in adopting one of our available pets, please fill out an application at http://www.dixiegirldogrescue.org/adopt-form PLEASE MAKE NOTE- OUR DOGS ARE FOSTERED IN ALABAMA (UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED), OUR DOGS TRANSPORT TO THEIR NEW FAMILIES IN PENNSYLVANIA AFTER THEY HAVE BEEN ADOPTED. Story
Snoop is a handsome 1 year old pup with the CUTEST features. He will be 2 on May 27th. He loves dogs, kids, belly rubs, loves to give kisses and get kisses, and everyone he meets. His foster describes him as the “very best dog” and wishes she had room to keep him🐾 He is potty trained and sleeps well in the kennel - you never hear a peep out of him! He rarely barks even when he is outside playing in our fenced in yard. He does chew when he is bored, but his foster family is working with him on this. He also rides well in the car and LOVES the dog park. He is the absolute messiest drinker of water and he has no clue he is making a mess. He also likes to walk his foster. 😂 We have been working on this. This boy is a great adventure buddy, but also a great snuggler, loves to sleep under the covers, and deserves the best life! He loves to play ball and bring it back, but only for a snack. 😂 He will make his forever family so happy and be their best friend, but it’s going to have to be the perfect fit since he came back to us at no fault of his own. His previous family just didn’t have time for him. He was wonderful with their kids. They are also willing to talk to a potential adopter. Snoop still goes to visit his former family because their son misses him so much. They want so much for him to find a wonderful forever home 💙 If interested in adopting one of our available pets, please fill out an application at https://www.cognitoforms.com/DixieGirl1/PetAdoptionApplicationForm2 PLEASE MAKE NOTE- OUR DOGS ARE FOSTERED IN ALABAMA (UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED), OUR DOGS TRANSPORT TO THEIR NEW FAMILIES IN PENNSYLVANIA AFTER THEY HAVE BEEN ADOPTED. Story
🎀 PHEE🐾 Phee is a female, 9 month old pittie/lab mix!🐶 Phee is very alert and takes notice of what is going on in a new situation. Her foster mom’s favorite thing she does is steal her big dog’s ball after he drops it at my feet to throw. He drops it and she will run up and grab it and run off with the ball. All the while wiggling her butt back and forth. 😆 She loves dogs & loves going to doggy day care. She has now learned to sit and is potty trained in her crate at night! She is still working on her dog walking skills and her nervousness with new people, but she has come a long way!She will need someone that is patient and eases her into her new home, and then she will have lots of love to give🖤 If interested in adopting one of our available pets, please fill out an application at http://www.dixiegirldogrescue.org/adopt-form PLEASE MAKE NOTE- OUR DOGS ARE FOSTERED IN ALABAMA (UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED), OUR DOGS TRANSPORT TO THEIR NEW FAMILIES IN PENNSYLVANIA AFTER THEY HAVE BEEN ADOPTED.
