Story
Hey friend, I`m Bradley! My previous owner no longer wanted me and I was surrendered to the shelter. I am a somewhat stocky and petite pittie but what I lack in size I make up for with a big personality. I do need some work on my manners because I have shown some over-arousal behaviors, but I have had some basic training already. Due to my rambunctiousness, it would be best that any kids in the home be 8 and older. I can be a bit nervous of strangers and it takes me some time to let my guard down. I am well worth your patience because you won`t find a more fiercely loyal friend than me! I am open to possibly living with another dog and/or cat with proper introduction as well. I can be strong-willed but I truly am a lover and would make for a great companion. I hope you`ll give me a chance!---If you are interested in adopting, please come prepared --bring a photo ID, proof of address, and everyone in the home including resident dogs with vaccination history. We are open daily 12-6pm.---The Pennsylvania SPCA - Lancaster Center848 S. Prince St. Lancaster PA 17603Kennel #16516717-917-6979lancaster@pspca.org

Story
Hello, my name is Boudi! Sadly my previous owner had to surrender me when he became homeless. I was very well loved and I am hoping to keep my stay at the shelter as short as possible. I am an older gal, but I still get around great and even enjoy playing. I have been around children and would be happy to do so again. I have also lived with other dogs, but I can be selective about my canine companions. I prefer calm and quiet dogs who won`t bother me much. I am not sure how I feel about cats but may do well with proper introduction. I deserve a happily ever after and I hope it will be with someone like you!---If you are interested in adopting, please come prepared --bring a photo ID, proof of address, and everyone in the home including resident dogs with vaccination history. Story
We brought Toro home when he was 8 weeks old and we have loved him for years. However, he has developed severe anxiety which has caused him to lash out at my toddler. He would need to be in a home with older children or adults only. He’s always been a single dog so not sure how he would be living with other pets. He is super chill most of the time, he loves to sleep, he doesn’t like walks too much (10 minutes is enough for him) and he is a stage 5 clinger. Before we had kids he was the best pal but our kids have made his anxiety worse and he spends more and more time in the crate which just isn’t great for his quality of life. We want someone who can love on him the way we used to before the anxiety from our kiddos took over his life.

Story
Rufus is a 2-year-old (come January) who loves his owner and the pets around him. He enjoys playing with his toys and other dogs as well! He may be hesitant at first or shy but after a little bit of time getting to know his family animals. Rufus has a blast with other animals. He loves to walk outside and enjoys having to run in fenced in areas. He enjoys sitting around to with his owner and enjoys attention. Rufus does have separation anxiety and s giving supplements for when I am away for long periods of time. Rufus has some behavioral issues with chewing furniture or some objects when he is bored or unsatisfied. Rufus is a friendly dog even though he doesn't know his size. He is up to date on all his vaccinations. Microchipped, and neutered. I would be thankful for him to find a safe and loving place that he can appreciate and be happy.
