Gizmo has had a lot to deal with in her short life. She was removed from a bad situation by a concerned person, but he realized that he could not give her enough attention either so she was surrendered to a foster home who is working with SOS to find her a home for life. Gizmo has the most adorable floppy ears. She uses a crate and is potty trained. She does fantastic on car rides! Gizmo can not be placed with cats or other small critters due to her prey drive. She may be ok with another dog equal in size and with proper introductions but she would be ideal as an only spoiled princess! Gizmo is high energy and needs someone who can exercise her. A fenced yard to run and chase balls would be perfect for her. She is spayed, vaccinated and ready to meet you! At best guess, she is under 2 years old. Meet Randy Meet Randy! This guy is about two years old and full of spirit and energy and is as playful and goofy as they come. Randy has learned many things during his time with his current foster family. He knows the commands, “No” and “Leave it” and tends to pick up things pretty quickly, showing that Randy is an intelligent boy. He is not destructive to any toys or household items, rope toys are a must as he will play tug for hours with you or another dog. His foster home contains cats and dogs and he does great with all his foster siblings. One of his favorite things is sun bathing. This boy loves his time in the sun and has a blast in a baby pool of water! He currently goes running with a volunteer and is a great companion during their times together. Randy needs an experienced owner who can help him self regulate and continue with his training on how to be the best “good boy” he can be. As far as his housebreaking, he learned the bell system in 48 hours. As long as you pay attention, you will have little to no accidents. He sleeps all through the night. Currently he sleeps in the bed with his foster family. Randy is not completely crate trained, but he is okay with being in a crate. His foster family used to crate him when they were not home, but they no longer do that. Leash training is also coming along very well. **We will not adopt Randy to a home with children under the age of 16. Preference will be given to applicants who own their own home and have breed experience. Hi, my name is Margo! My brother Henry and I were found lost in the wilderness. I‘m super friendly with people and love to be held, cuddled, and be the center of attention. I want to play with other dogs but need a lot of training, exposure, and patience to help me be comfortable and confident as sometimes I can be a bit much. I’m mostly potty trained but still have accidents on occasion, but I’m getting better and better at letting my foster parents know when I have to go outside. I LOVE LOVE going for hikes and regular walks (I’m up to 4 miles a day and thriving!) and just overall being outside. My favorite pastimes are chasing bugs in the grass, lying outside in the sun, and exploring the outdoors. I do have a high prey drive and will chase most other animals. I have a lot of energy and would do well with a big fenced in yard to run around in. I also think I would benefit the most with someone who is home most if not all of the day as I don’t do well on my own. I have no experience with small children so don’t know how I would do. Hi! My name is Cherry or as my foster mom calls me , Cherry Pie because she thinks I’m just sweet as pie. I’ve had a very rough beginning of my life. My previous family used me to breed and never cared for me. I somehow found myself roaming the streets and everyone seemed really scary because no one has ever showed me what love was. I got caught in this scary contraption and that’s when I was swooped away by my foster mom. After I realized I was safe, I started cuddling with my other foster friends. I love other dogs and even don’t mind the kitties that occasionally appear. I enjoy naps on the couch and sleeping in the soft bed. I’m also a crazy food and treat lady. After having to eat off the streets I have become obsessed with having food and get super excited. Toys also get me to let my personality to show. I sometimes get so spicy that I’ll take a run around the house with it in my mouth. I have learned how to be a dog from watching the others around me and have learned a lot! I feel much more confident in myself. I am ready to find a family who will continue to show me the love I deserve and continue to learn how to be a normal dog.
