Story
Meet Coco, a coco-brown female Pitbull who we believe is about 4 years of age. She is fully vaccinated, up to date on shots, and spayed. We found her in an abandoned building with her litter of pups. Coco is extremely well behaved in public settings, loves to go on car rides, plays well with other doggies and has occasional bursts of energy. She must have an owner who likes to cuddle and go on daily walks. Coco is not friendly with cats, and can not live with a cat or other small pet. Coco is a Courtesy Listing. Just what is a Courtesy Listing? It is a list of dogs, that through no fault of their own are looking for a new home. NCCR has agreed to post these dogs until a home is found. Any adoption and rehoming fee will be arranged through the dog’s caregiver. If you are interested in Coco just complete the application below the photo. The application will be forwarded to her caregiver where applications are reviewed and contact made to the interested parties. Please review the description to be sure you and the dog would be a good match. An application can be found at caninerescue.org.

Story
Meet Bella! A ~7 year old female Chocolate Pit who is fully vaccinated and up to date on shots, and spayed. Bella is full of energy, she loves meeting new people, going on long walks and a bone before bed. Bella’s forever home must have ample space to play in, an owner who will take her on daily walks, and a comfy bed in her crate! She does not like cats, and can not live in a home with one. She is friendly with humans of all ages and loves a good belly rub and rides well in the car! Bella was a companion to a special needs yellow-lab who unfortunately passed away in September and would love a new friend to do life with. Story
This handsome boy is named Rocky. Rocky is a mixed breed who is approximately 2yrs old. He was unfortunately an unclaimed stray at animal control. Whoever didn’t come looking for him certainly is missing out on a great dog. Rocky is incredibly friendly and well adjusted. He knows several commands -sit , stay, lay down and shake to name a few. Rocky walks well on a leash and would make a great walking or running partner. He likes other dogs and enjoys running in the yard with them. Rocky really is a perfect dog. He deserves to finally have a home to call his own and owners who adore him. If you are able to give Rocky that, please fill out our online application or stop in during open hours. Wednesday 6-8pm & Saturdays 12-3pm

Hey there, I'm Butters! I'm a 1-year-old Boxer mix, weighing in at 55 pounds of pure sweetness. I might look a little serious in my pictures, but I promise, I've got a heart full of love just waiting for my forever family! I'm known around here for being super gentle and kind-my favorite thing is making new friends, whether they have two legs or four! I get along great with other dogs and even those curious cats. I was found as a stray not too long ago, but I've settled in nicely. I'm a quick learner and love being around people who make me feel safe. I can picture myself curled up at your feet, enjoying lazy afternoons or going on long, fun walks in the park. I've got a calm and sweet nature, perfect for families or anyone looking for a loyal companion. If you're ready for a cuddle buddy who will always be by your side, I might just be the girl for you! Could you be my perfect match? Butters' adoption fee is $275. You can learn more about Butters and other dogs at Happy Bark by visiting www.happybark.org PA Kennel License 17445

Story
Well, howdy there, friend. The name’s Buster, and it’s a real pleasure to make your acquaintance. I reckon I’m a good ol’ Southern gentleman, through and through—polite, sweet-natured, and ready to settle into a comfy spot in your heart and home. They tell me I’m a Boxer mix, about seven years old, and weighing a fit and fine 53 pounds. I may have a little gray around the edges, but don’t let that fool ya—I’ve still got plenty of pep in my step when it’s time for a stroll or a bit of playin’ in the yard. Found my way to the good folks here around New Years, and I’ve been countin’ my blessings ever since. Now, I’m a sociable fella and get along mighty well with other dogs and even cats. Yep, I’m the kind of guy who knows how to keep the peace. I reckon I’d make a great addition to a home with a few four-legged companions or just you and me—either way, I’ll be as loyal as the day is long. What I’m really lookin’ for is a family that’ll share their love and a cozy spot to lay my head at the end of the day. I’ve got a heart as big as a country sky, and I’m ready to share it with someone who’ll give me a chance. So, what do ya say? Let’s mosey on into a forever kind of happiness together. Buster's adoption fee is $275. You can learn more about Buster and other dogs at Happy Bark by visiting www.happybark.org PA Kennel License 17445
