Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Ryker is a handsome, friendly, silly pitbull mix.  He came to us through no fault of his own--his owner was no longer able to care for him. Full of puppy energy, Ryker needs an active owner or family who will channel his energy and keep him mentally stimulated.  A fence is not required, but would be preferred as he really needs a place to run.  He walks nicely on a leash.  Wiggly and happy, Ryker just loves attention and is good with other dogs and kids.  His energy may be a lot for little children, but older kids who will play ball and take him for walks would be awesome. Ryker is neutered and updated with vaccines and is on monthly flea/tick/heartworm prevention.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ Click here for the ADOPTION APPLICATION if you are interested in adopting this pet. Applications are the first step in the adoption process. Please do not call or email simply to express interest. We are all volunteers and receiving your application saves us time and helps to determine the best match for both people and dogs.  We provide as much information as we currently have on each dog in their description. For questions on the adoption process, including fees, please review the Adoption page. If you have additional questions or are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application. Once we receive your application someone will be in touch to answer your questions. We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.  Thank you!November 5, 2024, 11:59 am

Story
Ribbon is a 4 year old pit bull/stafferordshire Terrier that weighs 41 lbs. She was on the euthanasia list due to lack of space in a Ga kill shelter. She was so sweet, we had to pull her and transport her to Pa! She tested positive for heartworm but we will be treating her and curing her, even after adoption! We have done many dogs with that. She is already microchipped. Ribbon is people friendly and dog friendly, but we have to cat test yet to see how she is with cats. We would love someone to give her a loving home! If you are interested in meeting or adopting Ribbon please text Casey at 570-441-0083. We adopt to the general public but we also adopt to military veterans with adoption fee waived in order to provide our heroes with companion or emotional support dogs . Our other adoptable pets our posted on our website as well as the very brief (5 minutes) application form. https://rescuepetsservingvets.org. ##2202241##

Logan is a one year old Pit Bull that weighs 38 lbs! He is neutered, microchipped and heartworm negative! He is very much a puppy still and loves people! We will have to cat test him still. Story
Thunder is a neutered purebred Pit bull who is approximately 2 years old and 60 lbs roughly. He has sadly a bad history. An animal officer from Scranton asked us to help Thunder who abandoned by the owner in a basement. Thunder apparently has been with other dogs previously. Not sure about cats, but we will definitely test him. He was already neutered and microchipped, so maybe he came from a shelter or humane society originally??? But he is a loving dog with people for sure! And he deserves a good home! We would love someone to give him a loving home! If you are interested in meeting or adopting Thunder please text Casey at 570-441-0083. Story
Rain is a 10 year old purebred Pit Bull female that weighs 69 lbs. She is spayed and fully vaccinated. She was living with another dog for years and they would play together often but a couple times it ended in a fight. So we are suggesting her as an only pet. And fenced in yard!! She is also microchipped! She needs a loving home! If you are interested in meeting or adopting Rain please text Casey at 570-441-0083.
