Story
This gorgeous girl is so lucky to be alive! We were driving down a busy four lane highway when we spotted her run across the highway barely missing getting run down by a large box truck. She ran into the parking lot of a Dollar General so we immediately pulled into the parking lot and luckily she ran up to our van and jumped right in! We tried and tried to find her owner but to no avail. It's hard to see in the pics but she has one blue eye and one golden eye. We suspect she had a little Husky in her but we did a DNA anyway, lots and lots of breeds in her DNA, including 5% Chihuahua! She's a super mutt! Clarice is spayed, fully vaccinated, crate trained and microchipped. She is available for immediate transport PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE LOCATED IN TENNESSEE AND YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO MEET OUR PETS PRIOR TO ADOPTION! ADOPTION FEE $500

Story
Peggy and Sue came from a horrific situation. Pit Bulls tied to trees with chains everywhere, some in very bad condition. One of the mama dogs had her chain embedded into her neck and had to have surgery to remove it. Peggy and Sue were the only two pups to survive the mess and we gladly took them into the rescue. All the adults were taken away, all their medical needs addressed and are in their happy forever homes. Now it's time for the babies to be adopted. They are sweet little girls who only want love and affection. Pitties are known for being "Nanny" dogs and are wonderful with young children. Wouldn't you just love to have one of these sweethearts to take home! They will be ready for transport middle to end of July. PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE LOCATED IN TENNESSEE AND YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO MEET OUR PETS PRIOR TO ADOPTION! ADOPTION FEE $600

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. ZYM was saved from a kill shelter in Georgia and arrived at Give a Dog a Home Rescue, in Sebec, Maine on 5 April 2024. He along with 3 other pitties that he was saved were extremely emaciated with pressure sores that have been treated for and are all doing amazing having gained weight and healed. Zym is neutered, rabies, core vaccines, monthly preventatives, heartworm and tick disease tested negative and is microchipped with 24PetWatch. He has an estimated date of birth of 4 April 2023 and in April 2024 weighed of 36 pounds. We have no way of knowing the breed, it is up to individuals to look at the pictures and videos to make up their own mind. Since Zym has been here (just over a month at the time of this update) he has done amazing, he has gained weight (too much and is now on a diet lol). He and Smellerbee are pretty bonded and snuggle up together in a big puppy pile, so we would love to adopt them together but will adopt individually if a family only wants one. He is playful, affectionate, goofy, happy, full of love, kisses and cuddles. From what he must have endured to now it is a complete change, he is so much fun. He deserves an extra special family who can give him the life he deserves and help him forget the abuse, neglect and starvation he has suffered. We take a lot of pictures and videos and don't always have the time to post them on the dogs individual webpage and adoption site, so we ask that you go to the rescue    YouTube channel    and    photo albums on our Facebook page    to see a LOT of pictures and videos. We are looking for families that have the lifestyle that the dog needs to lead a healthy, both mentally and physically life, who can afford a GOOD quality food, toys and treats and understand the importance of veterinary wellness checks. Zym is located at the rescue in Sebec Maine and is available for a  reduced adoption  fee of $100. Interested families are required to complete our application process and once approved schedule an appointment to come to the rescue to meet and take home their new best friend. Our process takes 1-2 days as long as we are able to talk to references, so be prepared to be approved (hopefully) to adopt within a few days of submitting the adoption application. https://giveadogahome-rescue.rescuegroups.org/forms/form?formid=5838 HOUSE TRAINED - All of our dogs are located in the kennel building so we are not able to say if a dog is house-trained, however, they do have access and use the dog door to access their run, play area 24/7. FOOD - We feed a variety of high quality brands and flavors including, chicken, turkey, beef, lamb and fish generally alternated daily. CATS - We do not have cats in the kennels and are not able to say how our dogs are with cats. Story
Izzy is a very friendly dog, an American Pit Bull Terrier mix, around 2 years old. We received a call from the local sheriff’s dispatch seeking our assistance in rescuing an abandoned Pitbull in rural Tennessee, and that's how we found Izzy. Despite his rough past and neglect, Izzy's gentle demeanor shines through. We've taken Izzy under our wing, with plans to provide him the care he deserves. He's been neutered, vaccinated, received flea/tick prevention, and microchipped. He's good on the leash but pulls a bit, and he's a decent traveler in the car. He is crate trained. Izzy is sweet and good-natured, good with kids, dogs, and small dogs, but not at all fond of cats. He's very needy but understandable. Weighing about 45 pounds, he's a smart, independent, and gentle companion who's happiest being with you, whatever you're doing. However, Izzy is a bit of an escape artist and can tear up regular kennels. So, he'll need an indestructible crate with heavier bars. Despite his knack for getting out, Izzy will bring endless love and happiness into your life, always eager to be by your side. Please send a request for an application to fill out. (I have some video to text or email) email us at Bakerbridgerescue@aol.com

Story
Introducing Cruella, the sweetest little pup you'll ever meet! Despite her name, there's nothing sinister about this 3-month-old American Bully, weighing in at 14 lbs. presently. She's expected to grow into a medium to large dog. Cruella was surrendered to PK through no fault of her own and is ready to charm her way into a loving home. Like any typical puppy, she's all about playtime, snuggles, and well-deserved naps! While still mastering potty training, she's making great progress with pee pad training. Being a young pup, Cruella has a lot to learn, so she'll thrive with a family committed to teaching her the ropes of being a good girl. Because she is still a young puppy, Cruella is very adaptable Cruella and would fit into any home (i.e., with kids, dogs, and cats). Get your application in for Cruella at lvpeaceablekingdom.info. Story
This puppy is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $250 if picked up in TN, $325 plus transport fee for out-of-state adoptions. Meet Lottie, the pint-sized Pit Bull Terrier mix with a heart full of love and a tail that never stops wagging! At about 4 months old, Lottie weighs 26 pounds and is bursting with puppy energy. Lottie is on the lookout for a home where she can share her love and affection. This adorable girl has a knack for hugs and will melt your heart when she stretches her head back for neck scratches. Lottie's playful side shines when she does somersaults in the grass and rolls on her back, reveling in the simple joys of life. Lottie is very food-motivated and eager to please. She’ll follow you for the promise of a treat and sits promptly every time you stop, hoping for a reward. Lottie came to us with 2 broken front legs, therefore, she is still working on housetraining. With plenty of supervision, a regular routine and crate time, she is picking up well on going outside. With her broken legs repaired, she’s healing well and ready for a life full of love, toys and care. Lottie loves people and is especially sweet with those she meets. She is currently living with another dog, and will need to continue her socialization with learning to meet new dogs. A home with a fenced yard and someone with pittie experience would be ideal. If you're ready for a lovable, high-energy companion who will fill your days with joy and affection, Lottie is waiting for you!    Interested in adopting? Take the first step and complete an adoption application on our website: http://aarf-tn.com/adopt/adoption-apps/ If you have questions that are not covered in the profile, visit the Pet Inquiry Form: http://aarf-tn.com/contact/pet-inquiry-form/. THIS PET IS FOSTERED IN TENNESSEE! We do list and adopt our pets nationwide. Typical transport cost to the Northeast is $180. Due to interstate adoption regulations, we are not able to adopt to RI and MA state residents. A.A.R.F. (All About Rescue and Fixin' Inc.) http://aarf-tn.com/ is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) no kill animal rescue organization located in the Upper Cumberland area of Tennessee. A.A.R.F. is comprised of unpaid volunteers and survives only on public donations. Thank you for thinking adoption first! Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Anything else found will be treated by our organization prior to adoption. July 3, 2024, 9:54 pm

POPPERS is neutered, rabies, core vaccines, monthly preventatives, heartworm and tick disease tested negative and is microchipped with 24PetWatch. He has an estimated date of birth of January 2023 and on has an estimated weight of 33 pounds. We have no way of knowing the breed, it is up to individuals to look at the pictures and videos to make up their own mind. POPPERS is an absolute sweetheart, brimming with affection and love with the sweetest, gentle "old soul" type personality. He can come across like a couch potato but he loves to run and wrestle with his friends. When he was in the kennels he did gain some weight, which now he is more active he is losing them - but it is important for his family to be aware to keep him active to keep those dangerous pounds off. POPPERS is a top favourite with everyone he meets. He is a hard chewer of toys and anything other than tough chewing toys he will destroy - red kongs are like scooby snacks to him lol He has been around adults of all ages, shapes and sizes, small children and people with special needs and was gentle and loving.  He is responsive and is happy to show anyone he meets lots of love. He does need an active family who will ensure he gets all the exercise, both mentally and physically that he needs to live a happy fulfilling life.
