Story
Meet Daisey! This sweet girl has been through so much in her short life. We think she is young, maybe 1-3 years old, and only 35 pounds. She probably has some Staffordshire terrier and lab as well as super mutt mixed in her. Daisey is a kind and gentle soul. She will allow love and pets, is not fazed by other animals, is gentle with children and has come a long way with leash manners. Sadly, it seems she may not have had the best past with human interaction. She sticks true to the den animal instincts that many dogs can be known for. She prefers her own quiet space so that she can curl up comfortably and feel safe and relaxed. She is not one for running with the other dogs or playing catch with a child, but she definitely does not mind having either around. Daisey is looking for a family that understands she will need lots of time to acclimate to a new environment before she starts to come out of her shell. Daisey came from a local shelter just days after she had a litter of 12 puppies! She was young, terrified and seemingly a first-time mom. She and her puppies were in very poor health. After medicine, time and love they were all nursed back to health. Now that she has had time to learn what kindness from a human looks like, and all of her puppies have been adopted, Daisey is ready for her forever. Interested in becoming a forever home for Daisey? Fill out our online adoption application: http://www.friendswithfourpaws.org/adoption-form.html This is the first step in our process, and we don't go any further without an application. Find more adoptable pets, news and information on Instagram @friendswithfourpaws or our Facebook page Friends with Four Paws. We put a lot of time and energy into processing our adoptions to find our babies the best fit home for them and you. Please do not submit an application if you are not serious about adopting Daisey. We are so excited to work with you to find you a new forever friend, and Daisey the perfect forever home, and appreciate you working with us. For immediate consideration, please attach your application to the initial inquiry to help us expedite the process. Our adoption fee is $525. This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention and travel expenses. All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. We have foster homes in the NJ/NY area waiting to receive their fosters. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, we make arrangements for transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed. Story
Sally is a beautiful, black and white pit bull mix approximately 14 months old. She is currently being fostered on a small farm in Glencoe, Oklahoma. Though she does okay leashed around the farm life Sally would be better suited in a home without a variety of other critters. Sally walks well on the leash and loves to go on walks and explore. Most of all she loves to be with her humans to play and cuddle. Sally loves her foster mom and is slowly warming up to her foster dad. A slow introduction to other people and dogs will be best for Sally as she was very shy and scared when arriving at her new home from the shelter. Sally has a best doggie friend here that she plays with named Foxy. Sally likes most dogs but can be selective. She has not been cat tested. Sally loves toys and treats. She especially loves her Kong toys and Nylabones and of course, anything with stuffing she can have fun trying to get out! Sally has not had much opportunity to learn house manners but she has done well under supervision. Her fosters spend as much time as they can on potty training. She is crate trained for sleeping during the night. She will cry in the crate when she has to go potty. Sally is full of love and is very eager to learn. Her eyes and face tell a story of sadness in her past but she is loved now and looking for her forever family that will love and train her to be her best! Interested in becoming a forever home for Sally? Story
Hi! My name is Dolly Roper. I am approximately 3 years old and 61 pounds of loving playful pit bull terrier and Staffordshire mix. I am very well house-trained and have great crate manners. I will even let you know when I need to go out to potty when in the crate. I recently graduated a 6 week training program where I learned basic commands and leash manners! The trainers said I did really well and that some days I was the best behaved one there. I LOVE toys, in fact toys are the perfect reward for my new family to use for 10 minuets of daily training to help me remember my manners. I am great with kids and other dogs but would do best in a home with no rodents or cats as I like to chase them! Dolly has been selected for a special Grant program that covers a large portion of her adoption fee. This Grant is only for qualified adopters after an application is fully approved! Interested in becoming a forever home for Dolly Roper? For immediate consideration, please fill out our online adoption application: http://www.friendswithfourpaws.org/adoption-form.html This is the first step in our process, and we DO NOT go any further without an application. If there are multiple dogs that you are interested in, please fill out an application for each dog. This does not include bonded pairs, one application will be fine. We have different adoption coordinators working with different dogs, and your application may be missed if you only apply once. Find more adoptable pets, news and information on Instagram @friendswithfourpaws or our Facebook page Friends with Four Paws . We put a lot of time and energy into processing our adoptions to find our babies the best fit home for them and you. Meet Rufus Lucas! This sweet boy is as smart as he is handsome. He is about one and a half years old and weighs about 65 pounds. We aren’t exactly sure what breed mix he is, we think maybe a shepherd and some pit bull terrier, but do we know he’s super cute! He does great on a leash and knows some basic commands like sit, crate, and he knows how to shake your hand! Story
Meet Lola Danforth! Such a sweet young lady. Lola is a nearly 7-month-old supermutt mix! We aren’t sure what is in her breed mix, but she seems to be pretty large for a puppy and we think she has some mastiff in her as well as pitbull terrier or american staffordshire terrier! She is currently about 55 pounds and could possibly grow close to 100 pounds. She is perfectly crate trained and will use Potty Pads if needed. She is also working on her leash training. She has been raised around dogs, and children, she will probably be fine with Cats as well, but has not been around them. Lola and her brother were found on the side of a busy rural road by her foster mom, they are lucky to be alive! Lola is ready to go to her forever home! Please put in an application as soon as possible, if you are interested in adopting Lola, she is waiting for you. Story
Meet Mocha Joe (aka Jojo), the Life of the Paw-ty! ??? This handsome, mocha-brown boy is looking for his forever family! At around 10 months old and nearly 100lbs, Jojo is a big puppy with an even bigger personality. Here's what makes him so special: ? Playful & Curious: Jojo loves tug-of-war, chasing lasers, and exploring new things. He’ll keep you entertained with his silly antics (like army crawling under the coffee table!). ? Velvet Soft: His luxurious, mocha-brown coat is as soft as it gets—perfect for snuggles. ? Sassy Talker: Jojo isn’t shy about sharing his opinions—he’ll “talk back” if he feels left out! ? Loves Water: From kiddie pools to fountains, Jojo is a total water baby and would make a great swimming buddy. ? Active Companion: He’s a big fan of walks and would be an excellent running partner for someone who loves the outdoors. ? Adorably Mischievous: He loves to chew, shred, and occasionally bury treats for later. He’ll keep you on your toes but always laughing. ? Great with Other Pets: Jojo gets along well with both cats and dogs—he’s a social butterfly who loves making friends! Jojo thrives in an environment where he can get plenty of playtime, affection, and activity. While he’s a bit jealous if someone else gets a treat first (can you blame him?), his loving, goofy nature more than makes up for it. Is your heart (and home) ready for Mocha Joe? If you think Jojo could be your new best friend, reach out today! This sweet, sassy pup is waiting to make your life a little brighter—and a lot more fun.

Story
Guinness was adopted out of Enid, OK ESPCA as a puppy in April of 2020. He has always been a little skittish and scared, especially of men, but was a good cuddle dog for me (a woman). When we started having kids two years ago he began acting out and escaping our yard. We've tried getting him training, but it's just escalated to the point where he caused a lot of problems for a recent dog sitter we hired. He needs more attention than we can give him. He likes our other dog, but not our babies, or our neighbors' dogs. He's very smart and very strong.

Story
Meet Mutt - your future furry best friend! This one-year-old bundle of joy is the perfect addition to any loving home. Weighing in at around 35 lbs, Mutt is the ideal size for cuddles and playtime. Mutt is a well-behaved, house, and kennel-trained pup who's been doing a great job with leash training. He's looking for a forever home with someone who can continue to reinforce his good behavior and continue his leash training journey. This medium-energy marvel is a social butterfly and gets along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes and energy levels. He's a true "pawsome" playmate and would adore having a doggy friend to frolic with. Mutt is no stranger to the dog park, where he thrives while playing with his buddies. However, Mutt's love for feline friends is not as strong, so he's seeking a cat-free home. While he hasn't lived with kids before, he should do just fine in a home with respectful children who understand how to interact with dogs. Mutt is a ton of fun and adores playtime. He's always ready to drag out his toys and engage in a spirited game of tug of war with his furry pals. Don't miss out on the opportunity to give Mutt the loving home he deserves. He's the perfect companion for an active, dog-loving household. Ready to make memories and share adventures with Mutt? Come meet him today and let the good times roll! He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations and preventatives, heartworm negative, and microchipped. Tucker is a fun loving, happy pup!  He’s shy at first but warms up quickly and then he is full of adventure and life!  He has a smile that is contagious. He is crate trained and house broken. He does well on a leash and knows basic commands. He does well riding in the car. Tucker likes being around children, and he is gentle. He is trained to not jump up. He loves other dogs and will play, chase, and wrestle for hours!  He likes to chase cats, but cats don’t seem to like that very much.  Chickens and ducks are just snacks to him, so maybe a home without chickens or a really secure chicken coop would be best. He’s incredibly sweet, loves belly rubs, back scratches, snuggles, and (of course) TREATS!  He’s a good boy who is hoping to find his new best friend. ##1590437##
