Story
This girl was abandoned to our shelter by her previous owners. Hadley loves people and has never met someone she didn't love. She does need to be an only dog in the home and would be questionable with cats. She walks well on a leash. She is very person friendly. She has shown to be mostly housetrained, rarely making a mess within her kennel. After two weeks in our shelter she climbed a six foot chain-link fence and attacked another dog in our shelter. She had not shown previous aggression to the other dogs, nor has she ever shown any people aggression at our shelter.Hadley Grace has shown that she will continue to climb over six foot chain-link fences, even if she is the only animal outside. In our play yards Hadley is secured to a tether run giving her access to almost the entire play yard, but not enough length to get to the fences. Hadley was temporarily adopted out to a house that was told about her attacking another animal. After almost 20 days at the adopter's house, Hadley attacked and injured the adopter's other dog, receiving injuries as well. The adopter took her to a vet for care then brought her back to our shelter. Hadley is a dog that would be good in a house without children or other dogs that has ample room for her to be away from other dogs. She is good with people, but not good with other dogs, male or female.

This girl was picked up in the 1300 block of Silvermaple Ln. She was not wearing a collar, nor was she microchipped. Savvy is a very sweet and lovely lady right around 2 years old. She is shy at first, but warms up very quick outside of the shelter. She loves to play with toys and chew on bones. She has been known to climb fences and should not be left outside alone. She also will need slow introductions to other dogs and should be fed separately. She is very shy at the shelter, but loves to get attention and play rough when in a home environment. She is around 40 lbs and has a lot of energy.

On one of the coldest weekends in January I found my young self abandoned, my person nowhere to be found. I searched but was chased off time and time again. Then one Sunday am, the warmer of the two days at 15 degrees, Desperate and freezing, I could go no further. “Go home“ the man told me.  But where was that? I would not go. I sat at the door making a sound like a dove. Cooing, soft and mournful. How do you ignore that? The man let me in.  I crashed slept and slept.  Long story short, this nice couple is now taking care of me and Fostering me until we find my perfect “Forever Home.” My specifics are… my name is Tokyo.  I’m a bully type breed. 12-18 mos. 70 pounds, male, strong, powerful, athletic, and prefer men.  I’m good with people, friendly, no aggression, energetic, but can also relax.  I’m Smart, trainable, Currently not social with other dogs.
