Story
If you kinda miss your grandpa, and need a gruff old boy to go fishin` with, Tank might be your dog! He acts grumpy in his kennel but outside he`s just a mellow meatball! Pretty sure he`s got some chow-chow somewhere in his linage (black tongue) so we bet that (just like Gpa!) he will be a great protector when he finds his forever family!

Story
Hey, nice to meet you. I'm Mama Mia. The humans here said that it was my turn to tell my story. Get comfortable, it might take a minute. This is what I remember. I just had my last litter of babies. They were so tiny and sweet! I only counted 3 this time. I have lost count how many times I've had babies. I yelled at someone that got to close to my babies and they called the cops on me. And that's how I ended up here. The humans here are so nice. They gave me the space I needed to take care of my kids. That made me feel safe. I slowly relaxed and was able to really be the Mom I wanted to be. The only people that I really don't care for are men. I'm not sure why. They scare me. Now that my kids are old enough to leave the nest, they tell me that it's my turn. I had my surgery, so no more babies for this girl!! Thank goodness!! I'm pretty selective about who my friends are. I mean, a girl needs to be, right? I know I'm not much to look at, but I swear, I'll be the bestest girl ever for you!! I hope that someone can see past all my scars and wants to adopt me. I just want a soft bed, love, and some snuggles! If you think you might be my family, give these guys a call. They have my number

Story
Hi, I'm Sophie! Out of all my siblings, I'm the one in charge! It's because I am the smallest, lol! Good things come in small packages! I try to keep my brother's is line, but they are strong and try to get mouthy with me. But I can definitely hold my own! I also have a sweet side. I love a good cuddle and playtime! The humans tell me that it's my turn to get a family of my own. I wonder what that will be like? I hope they like me! I am pretty cute! Maybe I'll get a family from Santa! I heard he does things like that. If you know how to get a hold of that guy, give him my number! I've been good this year!

Story
Hi, I'm Sam. My mom is Mama Mia. The humans told me that I'm finally old enough to find a family of my own. I'm excited but also a little scared. The world is so big, and I'm not so big. This will be the first time away from my brother and sister. Mom got a room of her own a couple of weeks ago. She said that she needed the break. I don't know why she was tired all the time. We only wanted to play! Well, anyways, if you think I'm cute, give these guys a call. They know where to find me.

Story
Athena is a 2 year old sweetheart. She was found living in terrible conditions, chained up in a pile of scrap metal and other items, tangled up with her best friend, Phoenix. Since being in our care, she has been spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated, treated for fleas, ticks, and worms. Athena is such a darling and deserves a new home and family. We are so happy we are able to provide her a second chance at a better life. Athena is house broke, dog friendly, child friendly, very playful, rides excellent in the car, loves bones, toys, and tug of war.

Story
Miley is a sweet girl! Not much is known on her as she was picked up from the streets of Noel. We don't know how she is with potty training. She is good on a leash. She is food aggressive. Considering what we know of her background, we have not put her with other dogs. She has not been cat tested. Adult- only, single dog home is preferred.

Story
Say hello to Nova, the newest member of the FFAA family. Due to unfortunate and unsafe family circumstances, Nova is here, and we are hoping to find a foster-to-adopt placement right away for her. At four years of age, she had been with her family since she was only 7 weeks old. She is having a hard time adjusting to shelter life - and who wouldn't, after four years of being the adored family dog. Nova has been deaf since birth. Due to not being able to hear herself, she can be more vocal than the average dog. However, she knows quite a few hand signals that we will show her future adopters, including one for "Quiet." Nova is dog friendly (she really enjoys dogs licking her ears) and LOVES her tiny humans (she is great with kids and teens of all ages). She's a perfect family dog! She is described as being a friendly couch potato who is super affectionate. She is house trained. During the day, she spent her time indoors and free roaming, and she is accustomed to having the pick of her family member's beds to sleep in. Her passions include car rides and her blankies - she loves suckling on them. She's a huge fan of sunbathing, and she greatly enjoys trips to the creek. When we asked if there's anything that they would like Nova's future owner to know, we were told, "She is an amazing dog. She will greet you with a smile every time you walk in the dor. She loves her tiny humans; we are her emotional support people. She loves to be petted and blankets."Nova has been through the wringer these last few weeks. During her spay, we discovered that she has a blood clotting disorder which led to complications post-op. Nova is having issues with her mobility now; while she is improving every day, she does need help moving her back end around.
