Lil is a 6.5 yr. old, 65-70 lb. fawn brindle Staffordshire terrier female and Phil is a 6 yr old, 80-85 lb. Staffordshire terrier/curly coated/Chesapeake Bay retriever mix male. They are the best of friends and make a tremendous duo. They are affectionate, kind, gentle, loving cuddle bugs with a silly, playful side. Incredibly eager to please, obedient, loyal and attentive. They are like sunshine on a rainy day; you simply cannot be in a sad mood around them. Words cannot justify how truly wonderful they are; people adore them when they meet their sweet, kind natures. All they want to do is to love and be loved. One of the greatest duos we've ever known, each being super special in their own right but combined they are magic. They compliment each other so well, being each other's anchor and best friend, they deserve to continue to live together and spread their combined joy. Lil is spayed; Phil is is neutered. Both dogs are fully vaccinated, de-wormed, have been on monthly heart-worm preventative, crate-trained and house-trained. This rescue does not do it's own 'shots' ... all medical care is done by a licensed, certified Veterinarian or done under their direct supervision (ex., monthly heartworm treatments &/or deworming). All of our rescued dogs have been on a nutritional regime which includes high quality food and supplements (ex., probiotics; vitamins, etc). She is crate and house trained, good with young children. She currently does well being crated for 4-6 hours. She would need to be the only dog in the household as she is dog aggressive, that being said no kitties in her future either. She currently has a fenced yard for exercise as she does not do well on a leash. Her current owners would like to see her go to a home where she will have more space and time with her humans. She does have some anxiety and takes medication prior to vet visits, bathing and home nail trimming. Occasional seasonal allergies(itching) treated with Zyrtec. She has previously had successful bilateral knee surgery and is currently healthy. She is much loved and cared for and her present family is hoping for the right situation to come along for her. Sweet 2 year old Nala absolutely adores everyone she meets and loves being loved on!! Okay, so she's not a fan of cats AT ALL,, but she's otherwise a typical silly pit that doesn't have a mean bone in her body, and she LOVES BATHTIME!! Don't forget the rubber duckies! Nala has attended obedience training, and with structure and consistency she listens very well. She is still learning to not pull while on the leash, so her new owner should be able to handle a strong 68lb dog. She's improving with house training, and will need to be crated when first introduced into her new home, but that's perfectly fine with Nala because she does great in her crate. Nala wouldn't mind another doggie friend in the home, but not multiple dogs, and again, no cats please. Also kids must be 6 years or older please due to her accidently knocking smaller kids down. Please allow me to introduce this incredibly gorgeous 2-3 year old Nova. She weighs about 65, and is one of those dogs that somehow ends up in your lap on the couch in some pretty weird positions, and has fallen off the couch more than Nova would like you to know. LOL. She has done great in the home, but when alone I still crate her. She has a blast with walks or hikes, and wears a special harness that helps her from pulling as much. She. Is. Strong. I would love a 6 foot fence for her, as she LOVES running in the backyard full speed when she gets the zoomies. She also plays fetch and loves toys, and interactive games for treats. She will be great as an only dog, or I will request a proper meet and greet if you have a dog already. Cats??? NO CLUE!!! This foster dog has easily won my heart over, and she'll do the same to yours. She is doing great with housetraining and crate training. I have left her unattended in the house (no crate) and she does great except if there is something yummy in the garbage or on the counter, so I now know to not leave anything within reach. She loves toys, and usually has to grab one to take outside during potty/playtime. She loves to play fetch in the fenced in yard, but can easily jump over a 4ft fence, so I am asking for a 6 foot fence, or someone that loves outdoor activities. She loves curling up in a little ball on her cat bed on the couch or snuggling at bedtime. She lives with another foster dog, and I did do slow introductions. She's very receptive to commands, and does ok on the leash, but does pull a bit. A special harness seems to greatly help with that! We do not know how she is with cats!!!
