Story
Before her rescue, Ripley was a devoted mom to a litter of puppies. Now, it’s finally her turn to be pampered and spoiled. She loves people and greets everyone with tail wags and enthusiasm—sometimes a little too much excitement, but with some gentle reminders, she’s quick to learn. Ripley is a spirited, high-energy 3-year-old who’s ready to find a forever home that matches her zest for life! This athletic girl lives for movement—she loves to run, play, and will gleefully destroy any toy that crosses her path. She’s fantastic with other dogs and adores children, making her a great match for an active family with kids or playful pups. Ripley thrives in a home that’s always on the go—whether it’s hikes, runs, or backyard zoomies, she’s all in. A quiet, laid-back lifestyle just isn’t her thing; she’s looking for a household that’s as energetic as she is. Ripley is crate trained, housebroken, and knows basic commands like “sit.” She’s also super smart and very treat-motivated, so training is a breeze with the right snacks and consistency. Important note: Ripley cannot be in a home with cats or small animals. She has a strong prey drive and takes her “squirrel patrol” duties very seriously—your yard will be rodent-free! If your home is filled with energy, love, and adventure, Ripley just might be your perfect match. Ready to make her part of your pack? ##2223382##

Current Status: AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION ON THURSDAY, 01-08-2026 AT 10 AMName: LOLADetails: Lola came to the kennel due to no fault of her own. She is the sweetest girl, wants love and affection. She needs some work on house training and walking on lead. She has not shown dog or food aggression at the kennel, but we would recommend a meet and greet and/or a test drive with introduction to other dogs and kids. We are unsure about cats. She is looking for a safe place to call home and would love to be a part of someone's family.Description: 2 years, Female, Pit Bull Terrier, 53#Kennel ID#: D25-362Intake Date: 12/07/2025Sandusky County Dog Kennel1950 Countryside PlaceFremont, OH 43420419-334-2372ADOPTION FEE *(Effective 01-01-2026) is $200 and includes the spay or neuter, Microchip, 1 year Rabies Vaccine, 4 in 1 vaccine, heartworm test, deworming, current on heartworm/flea/tick prevention and the current years Dog License.ADOPTION PROCESS: If more than one person is here for the same dog at the time the dog becomes available, a drawing will be held to decide the adopter. Story
I’m Cinder!! I am currently with a foster family and looking for my forever home!. I love other dogs of all sizes and am very playful. I do well with cats too! I love kids and do very well with them! Overall, I am an easy-going sweetheart and will do well with almost any family! I have a case of demodectic mange -- which is not contagious! I also have some alopecia, meaning my fur is thinner and almost entirely bare in some areas. This means I look extra cute in sweaters to stay warm in the winter! Wouldn't you love to have me as your new forever friend??
