We are accepting applications for our sweet girl, Lorelai. She was a pull from Memphis Animal Services, on September 21, 2022. When she came to us she weighed 26lbs & was heartworm positive, She is with a foster who was getting her through her first few critical months, but still has her. She is more than ready for her furever love!! She is completely house trained, and is a very well behaved house guest. She loves all people, though she is more comfortable with her doggie friends who are more on the chill side. She has gone through her heartworm treatment, over 6 months ago. She is extremely sweet, despite all of the horrors that she endured before coming into our rescue.

Story

Shades is a velvety little nugget of a girl. She is super sweet and playful, once you gain her trust. Shades is a great dog! She is shy and the shelter is a very scary place for her, but once she warms up to you she is the most affectionate dog. She likes to sit on top of you! No personal space with this girl! She is a couch potato but will get the zoomies occasionally. She loves to run and play in the yard! She has sadly been euth listed, but has spent a great deal of time in the office, meeting everyone who comes into the shelter. She is about 2 years old & around 40lbs. We can only pull her with an approved foster or adopter. She will visit our trainer for an assessment once we are able to pull her. Kane is a very shy and sweet boy. He will need an adopter that is familiar with the breed and knows how to help him gain confidence. He is not a candidate for an adopter that hasn't had dogs in the past or any adopters with small children. He is crate and house trained for the most part. He does get nervous when you leave and sometimes has accidents in his crate. He is dog selective and would do best in a home with no other dogs. Kane is very smart and rings a bell on the door when he has to go outside to potty! He loves to nap on your lap and would make a great work from home buddy. He was abused when he was a little puppy and has an unusual bark. He's been through a lot and needs an adopter that will be patient while he adjusts to his new home. Kane is up to date on all age appropriate vaccines, neutered , microchipped, dewormed and on flea/heartworm prevention. Kane’s adoption fee is $200. His family had called a local vets to have him put to sleep for an incident with the cat he had lived with (we don't have any details of the situation). They reached out to someone for help and they ended up taking him so he wouldn’t be euthanized. He is currently at a local boarding facility but needs a forever home. He is housebroken. He is dog friendly (but we haven’t introduced him to dogs under 30 pounds). He loves everyone he meets, loves attention, going on outings to the pet store and the company of other dogs.
