Ripley is fantastic with other dogs and adores children, making her an excellent companion for a family with kids or other pups to play with. While Ripley isn’t a fan of cats and has a strong prey drive (squirrels beware!), she’s crate trained, housebroken, and knows basic commands like “sit.” Her determination and smarts make her highly trainable, especially since she’s very food- and treat-motivated. Before Ripley was rescued, she had a litter of puppies, and now it’s her turn to be the center of attention. She’s a people-lover through and through and will eagerly greet you—even if she sometimes forgets her manners and jumps up. Shadow does doggie daycare at Camp Bow Wow Westlake and she has a blast! She is a sweet,loving young female Pit mix weighing 45 lbs. Shadow is house-trained, crate-trained, and knows her basic commands (sit, stay, down). Shadow knows some tricks like "rollover". She walks well on lead. Shadow loves to play ball and run in the yard. We do not know how shadow would do living with cats so a cat-less home is best or we can arrange for a cat test with your cat. She met one cat and just seemed curious, not aggressive with the cat. Shadow is spayed, vaccinated and micro-chipped. Shadow loves everyone she meets and she would make a great forever friend! Meet Brooklyn!! Brooklyn is a 2 yr old Pit mix, weighing 56 lbs. Brooklyn was pulled from the overcrowded LCDK when they were full; she had been there too long. She was sent to Roger's K9 for their board and train program. Brooklyn is doing great learning all her commands and how to be comfortable in new situations. She does need to take things slow in new situations. Brooklyn is house-trained, crate-trained, and walks well on lead. She is very smart and athletic and would love an active owner that understands her breed requirements. Brooklyn has finished her training at Rogers K9 and is looking for a foster home while we search for her forever home. Sammy is a 5 year old boxer mix. She is happy, energetic, and eager to please like most boxers. Sammy has had extensive training with a couple trainers and does well with commands. She knows to stay in her yard and one of her favorite things to do is go to Grandma's to run in the fields and woods. She loves people and will soak up all the attention you can give her. She plays well with other dogs in structured play but is unable to manage her resource guarding well enough to live with other dogs. Sammy has been with the same family since she was 12 weeks old so there is a lot of information to share about her. Sammy is looking for a new home due to the circumstances of her current family and how those do not provide Sammy with the home she deserves. As mentioned, Sammy does resource guard (food, toys, bed) with other dogs so would need to be the only dog in the home.
