What a face! Humphrey is a big doofus. When he arrived he weighed 14 lbs. He was living in a crate and being starved to death. But with the right vet care and foster he is now 40 lbs and loving life. He still wants to eat too fast so he uses a special bowl to slow him down. Humphrey is still learning he can go outside to potty and he doesn't have to do his business in his crate. At some point his ears were cut off, probably with scissors, but that doesn't seem to bother him. And it just gives him a special look, along with his squatty muscular body. He needs a strong person to help him keep learning life can be good. He can be reactive with some dogs. No idea about cats but probably should not live with them. He does think he should be a lap dog and loves belly rubs. Hi everyone, meet Herc. Herc is a good boy! He is very affectionate towards his humans, a real velcro dog. He takes treats very gently and in my experience has never shown aggression towards anyone. Which is amazing as he has had such a hard life including being abused by people. He was also attacked by a pack of stray dogs in Texas, where I rescued him from. He then wound up on death row in San Antonio, I saw the pain and suffering in his eyes and had to act. Now he is in Ohio, looking for his forever home. This has to be a cat free home, Herc does not like cats and never will. If you do not have cats, would you like to give Herc a new life full of love and care? He is very loyal and would be a great companion to someone who treats him right.

Story
Seth was abandoned then found by the Franklin County Humane Society in early August and we found him at the shelter a few weeks later. As he got broken into our home, we realized he has so much personality and is one of the most intelligent dogs we have all ever met. Along with all of that, he is so sweet and the goodest boy. He deserves the world, and any potential future owner will be so lucky to have such an amazing dog.

Story
This is Brix! He is the sweetest most amazing boy! unfortunately he is not getting along with the other male dog in our house. We have a baby on the way and cannot attend to the training and separation needed to house both male dogs in one home. Brix is a shy guy - he would need to be the only dog in the Home or would do well with other female dogs. He lives perfectly with our female great dane and has had positive interactions with other female dogs outside of our house. He does have some reactivity to other dogs outside the house but has been through training and continues to make HUGE strides to overcome this! He has been through an official board and train program and knows sit, down, place, and heel. All with built in stays. He also continues to go to group classes with us since completing the training program! He loves kids and does great with our 5 and 6 year old - and he will take hugs and pets from any person he meets!

A fenced yard for zoomies is preferred but not required.He enjoys car rides, especially if he gets to ride shotgun!
