Yogi is a young, loving and playful boy. He is about a year and a half. My son found him running in a busy street while it was cold and raining. He did not want the dog to get hit so he brought him to me. I have a 22 month old and Yogi is GREAT with him. My toddler will climb on him, pull on him, and basically treats him like a jungle gym and Yogi seems to love it! Yogi loves the attention and my toddler will even lay on him and go to sleep and Yogi will just lay there and decide to nap with him. Yogi also does not seem to mind my cat and enjoys stealing her food but unfortunately, my cat does not feel the same way about him. I really do hate to give Yogi up as he is so loving, but my life as busy as it is, I simply cannot keep him long-term and give him the home he deserves.

I first adopted Boomer in November of 2021, from a shelter while living in Florida! Which makes him about 7 years old. All of my friends and family commonly referred to as “the sweetest boy”. Probably because how much he loves to cuddle. His favorite things are going on jogs, hikes, or playing tug. He is a high energy dog when you want him to be but sleepy dog most of the time so he will be ready for any fun adventure! House trained and trained on basic commands. However, Boomer must be in a one dog household. My family and I recently had the blessing of bringing in the life of our son. Which puts us in a desperate situation due to the fact Boomer and one of his other brothers no longer get along. Hoping to find our pup a new forever home.

Smokey is a sweetie. She’s very food motivated but not at all food aggressive. She loves any food you’ll give her, except peanut butter flavored treats. She loves peanut butter though. Speaking of food, she is the most regular dog I’ve ever known when it comes to going potty. A couple minutes after she eats she’s ready to go at the door. She doesn’t like the rain but is fine in the snow. She’s definitely a princess. She has this ripped apart old duck stuffed animal (sans stuffing) that she loves. She loves her naps, especially on the couch. She’s awesome with our toddler. He hugs on her all the time. The one day I also caught him putting wood boards on her & started climbing on the boards…she just laid there! She gets spurts of energy which is really cute to see in an older dog. She still likes to play!

Hiya! I'm Holton, a 30lb Pit mix puppy, and I'm looking for my forever family. I found my way to this wonderful dog rescue after being thrown out of a moving car and suffering a spinal injury. I am mostly healed from that, but now I walk a little funny, almost like I'm drunk. I don't think I'm any different than other dogs, though, so it doesn't really bother me. At a follow-up appointment for my spinal injury, the vet noticed my heart sounded funny, so I went to see a specialist for hearts. They said I have a defect and will require medications for my whole life plus yearly visits to the cardiologist. Luckily, the problem with my heart shouldn't affect my life any. The amazing rescue I'm with said they will cover the costs of the medication and cardiologist visits for the rest of my life so that my forever family doesn't overlook me! I'm a puppy who is very toy-motivated. I especially like the ones that are good for chewing! I'm already crate-trained and almost fully potty-trained, but will need a patient family who can help me learn to walk properly on a leash. I sometimes think the leash is a toy, so I'll bite it when we are trying to walk! I would love to belong to a home that has another dog I can play with! I haven't been around cats or kids enough to know if I like them yet but probably should avoid super young kids because I'm still into puppy nipping. Despite my rough start to life, I am a silly young dog who loves everyone and is looking for an active family. Hi, my name is Rae! I’m a 75lb, 1-year-old Pit mix and I’d love to have a family to call my own. I’m crate-trained and potty-trained, but I’m not a fan of going outside alone. My foster mom always walks me outside so that I can do my business. I’m very cautious with everything and it takes me a little while to warm up to new people and situations. During the few weeks I’ve been with my foster mom, I have started to gain some confidence. I will need a patient family with a calm household to help me continue to come out of my shell. I’d prefer not to have any young kids in the house, as their activity makes me too nervous. When my foster mom has her grandkids over, I tend to retreat to my crate to avoid the commotion. I’m sure one day I will overcome my nerves, but I still need a little more time to gain some confidence in myself. My foster mom says that I’m still learning how to be a dog. I don’t play much and I’m not a huge fan of toys. I do love to chew on bones, though! They are my favorite. I do get the zoomies on occasion and boy am I fast! I love to snuggle with my foster mom.
