Piper is a sweet, gentle pit bull mix who has been raised with her mother, Roxy. They were living happily with their human mother and her boyfriend in a house in Winston-Salem, NC. When their human mother sadly died of cancer a few years ago, her boyfriend took care of them for as long as he could. His life has changed dramatically and he can no longer take care of these sweet girls. Both are house-trained and gentle and obedient. Roxy (Age 7) and her daughter, Piper (Age 6) are paired and we are desperately trying to find a home for them where they can be together. I know this is a big ask and distance is not a problem. If you can welcome these girls into your life, we will drive to where you are. (They are currently in Guilford County, NC.)

Sky is a little over 2yrs old and is the sweetest babygirl. She jumps a lot and I would say very energetic. Due to a lot of unfortunate events I have to send my baby to a new home. I would like for her to get a lot of love attention + yummy snacks. I would also like for her not to have puppies or on the off chance that she does for her to be over the age of 5, for her puppies not to be used for quick money, to be notified beforehand and always provided with updated information. We cannot keep up with expenses with keeping her, her 2 brothers and momma (more info about them on their pages). She does have a pretty big scar on her back due to an incident with one of her brothers. She has been been a house but not exactly house trained, she is currently an outside dog so if she's to continue being one I wish for her shelter to be well provided and not on a chain most of the day.

Bella is a mother of 10 but currently staying with 3 over my dads house. She was suppose to be trained to become a fighting dog but was given up the first time forgotten by her owner, spended sometime somewhere being an outside then coming into our care. She was mostly the dog of my late mother which is why we have to remove her. She has attacked a smaller dog before but didn't grow up around many other animals so how she would act is unknown. Besides that I would say she's great with people and really affectionate. (Will update soon)

Mako is a 5 1/2 year old pit bull who arrived at the shelter as as tray in late August. He is heartworm positive, but receiving treatment at the shelter. Mako is looking for his new home! Mako is a handsome dog with a calm demeanor and a nose for adventure! This mellow guy absolutely enjoys spending time in the yard, where he happily roams around sniffing to his heart's content. While he isn't the type to chase toys or play games, Mako enjoys exploring his surroundings and taking in all the interesting scents. When it's time for a walk, Mako's excitement shines-he'll eagerly run to the door as soon as he sees the leash! While he can be a bit of a puller, especially if there are other dogs around, he's generally easy to walk in a quieter environment. He responds well to treats (which he takes gently) and enjoys the company of his person. Mako prefers to be the only pet in the home, as he doesn't seem to get along with other dogs. He can be reactive when passing other dogs in the kennel or on a walk, so he'd thrive in a dog-free household with a family that understands his need for space. Despite his quirks, Mako's sweet personality makes him a joy to be around. He's a great companion for someone who wants a loyal, laid-back friend who's happiest sniffing around a yard or going for peaceful strolls.
