Story
Piper is a sweet, gentle pit bull mix who has been raised with her mother, Roxy. They were living happily with their human mother and her boyfriend in a house in Winston-Salem, NC. When their human mother sadly died of cancer a few years ago, her boyfriend took care of them for as long as he could. His life has changed dramatically and he can no longer take care of these sweet girls. Both are house-trained and gentle and obedient. Roxy (Age 7) and her daughter, Piper (Age 6) are paired and we are desperately trying to find a home for them where they can be together. I know this is a big ask and distance is not a problem. If you can welcome these girls into your life, we will drive to where you are. (They are currently in Guilford County, NC.)

Story
I adopted Rosie about 4 years from the Greensboro Animal Shelter. She was under weight and had a skin infection that took quite some time to clear up. Not all of her hair grew back. She is still missing some hair on her back and tail. She was used for breeding and had two litters before I adopted her. She is fearful of people but not at all aggressive. She warms up once she knows the person can be trusted. But absolutely loves kids and other animals. She's a wonderful dog and I love her to life but, I started a new job that has me working 12 hours most days and I unfortunately can not afford to pay someone to walk her. I would love to see her go to a home with a backyard where she can run and play small with children 7-12 years old. She still has a lot of energy and loves the exercise. She also loves walks in the woods and water. I hate to part with her but I don't think it's fair to her that she doesn't get the exercise that's she needs.

Story
Quavo seems like a very happy dog.  This 9 year old boy was adopted in 2016 but ended up back at the shelter as a stray.  He is very low energy and loves to take naps outside.  He seems good with other dogs, he really loves people, including children.  Quavo really likes to get his head scratched and tummy rubbed.  That will put a smile on his face!  If you give him a chance we think you might find your perfect dog! ##1838602##

Story
We got Nyla in 2019. She has never been a house dog but is crate trained. She loves to play and run around. Within the last 5 yrs that we have had her, she has no history of bites. We are starting to travel a lot and the kids are getting older with more responsibilities and we just want her to go to a family that will be able to spend more time with her and show her the love that she deserves. We do love her and will miss her but she would benefit more from a family that has the time and patience.
