Story
Thalia is a very sweet and energetic dog. She loves attention and cuddles. My friend found her abandoned on the side of the road about a year and a half ago. We took her in a little while after because our friend already had 4 dogs. Our best guess is that she is about two years old now. She is great with our other dog. She absolutely loves our young kids but can sometimes be a little too enthusiastic when playing. She is not good with cats though. When we took her in she was already too old to properly socialize her with our four cats. We have tried several times but it has been unsuccessful. We have had to keep our four cats separated upstairs. Unfortunately we just can't keep her at this point when she doesn't get along with our cats.

Story
Blanche is a 9-year-old, 45lb brindle Pitbull mix. Don't pass up this beautiful Golden Girl! Blanche just wants to cuddle and spend her days with her person. The best part about getting an older dog, she's already housebroken and trained so the only thing left to do is give her some love. She is heartworm positive, but she's being treated at her foster home. Blanche gets along with everyone, but being a little slower she does better with dogs who know boundaries and will respect her space. If you are looking for the ultimate snuggle pup, look no further than Blanche, and apply online at www.crisisdogsnc.org. Comprehensive details are provided in the dog's description. To ensure a smooth process, please submit a completed application through our website at: http://crisisdogsnc.org/dog-adoption/. Please note that questions via email or social media channels may not receive a response without a completed application. As part of our commitment to responsible adoption practices, we require excellent veterinarian references and conduct virtual home visits. Additionally, your prior or current dog must be on year-round heartworm prevention. We provide transportation by both land and air whenever feasible. All assessments regarding breed and age are conducted by licensed veterinarians. We look forward to assisting you in finding your perfect canine companion!November 5, 2024, 1:27 pm

Story
Grady is a 3-year-old, 48 lb Pitbull Terrier Mix Sweet Grady had a very sad start to life. He was rescued from an abuse/neglect situation with other dogs who hav all since found their forever homes. He can't wait for his happily ever after and has been thriving in his foster home. Grady asks for very little. He is just thrilled to be fed regularly and have a safe place (his crate) to rest. He has the sweetest soul, and he is one of the most beautiful pups. Grady is quiet and eager to please. He is completely house and potty-trained and crate-trained. He loves to go on walks and get treats! He meets new people easily and is gentle with everyone. Grady is comfortable around other dogs but because he may view them as rivals for resources, he would be happier if he were the only pet in the house. Grady is the perfect blend of "hey let's go for a walk" and "hey let's snuggle on the couch." If you're looking for the ultimate best friend, look no further than Grady! Comprehensive details are provided in the dog's description. To ensure a smooth process, please submit a completed application through our website at: http://crisisdogsnc.org/dog-adoption/.
