Story
Nalah is a purebred American Pitbull Terrier. I adopted her when I came home from deployment overseas. She is almost two years old. She is an incredibly energetic, loving companion who thrives in a home with space to roam and explore. She has a heart full of warmth and affection, great with people and kids, and is always ready to share her joyful spirit. With her loyal and protective nature, she is always alert and watchful, making her a great protector for your family—though she may be cautious around strangers. She has an instinct to stay close to those she loves, and her vibrant personality lights up any room. However, her energy and curiosity mean that she needs an environment where she can safely run and play, so an invisible fence or a fully fenced-in yard is REQUIRED and is non-negotiable. Unfortunately, due to my military commitments, I can’t always take her with me when I travel or get orders, so I’m looking for a family who can offer her the stability and love she deserves.

Hiya! My name is Zhara! Do you have a fun personality? Then I am the dog for you! I absolutely love attention, so I would like to go to an only dog home with older children. I am a star! Hi there! My name is Luna, are you looking to be my Sun? I am a 4.5 year old gal looking for my new adventure buddies. I love to run and play so maybe we could even go for a hike some time! I`m also down to just relax and lounge as well wherever my people are. I have lived with a dog friend before and would be open to seeing how I get along with another! If you`d like to know more, call the Animal Protective Foundation at 518-374-3944 or more preferably, come on by Tuesday through Saturday between 12 and 4:15pm to meet me. See you there!

Story
The name`s Gator! I`m a bit of a bigger boy with a big personality but I`m a gentle, sweet giant. I love meeting new people and may be ok with another dog. I`m still a young boy so I`m brushing up on my basic manners and commands like `settle`, `place`, `down`, and `wait`. I am loyal and also like to be close to my people. One of my favorite things to do is to play with a flirt pole--it`s basically a giant cat wand toy, but for dogs!

Story
Why hello there! My name is Kingston, I am a beautiful 8 month old American pit bull who is just figuring his way around life. I love to spend time running around with my human friends and I will accept all the affection you have to offer!! I am not a fan of other dogs who have a lot of energy and get all in my face! I would prefer a calmer dog friend who can go slow with me and teach me how to play :) I am also learning my basic manners such as sit, down, stay, wait etc. If you are interested in meeting me come stop down at the APF Tues-Sat between 12-4:30PM Hope to see you then!

With her always-wagging tail and eager-to-please personality, she’s your personal fan girl, ready to shower you with love and excitement. This sweet, fast little rocket could thrive in dog sports like fast CAT or agility but has a medium energy level—ready for play and exploration, then happy to settle as a couch hippo when it’s time to relax. Dog-friendly and a bit goofy around awkward pups, Aggie enjoys playing with her foster sisters and boyfriends, like Toby and the neighbor’s dogs. She’s making great progress on potty training and house manners, proving her intelligence and adaptability. Whether you’re looking for a yardwork buddy, a loyal companion, or a dog with the potential to earn ribbons, Aggie might be the perfect fit for your family.
