Story
Oliver is a very friendly large pitbull. He’s a big baby that loves to cuddle and is house trained. He’s loves to play with balls and toys like ropes and squeaky things. A friend of mine had to suddenly move and was unable to take the dog and we offered to take him temporarily but she is unable to take him back and I am unable to keep him. She had asked me to look for his furrrever home for her! We currently have two other dogs in the home with him and they all play together. We just unfortunately can’t keep him any longer

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. What my foster parents have learned about me in 379 DAYS!! - Since they found me on the street, lonely and hungry, they have learned that I am actually a very cuddly and kissy girl! I am so energetic and full of life!! - I didn’t know what kibble was when my foster parents found me, but quickly learned to love it, plus vegetables, apples, pumpkin and treats! - I can play just as much as I can sleep, I make the best napping companion! - I love daily walks and when it’s just a walk with me and my foster parents, I like to sniff, jog, get treats for sitting, and work on not reacting to all the other pups around my neighborhood (I’m doing better every day) - I’m potty trained! It took a very long time but I have it down now. - I comfort by cuddling and giving gentle kisses to make my foster parents feel better when they’re sick - I love vegetable snacks while my foster mom cooks, I sit and wait patiently for her to give me a little taste of carrot, sweet pepper, broccoli or apple! I won’t even check the counter or try to eat her food! - I love playing with my foster sisters (doggos too) but sometimes can be a bit of an attention hog, my ideal home would be one where it is just me or one with another dog sibling, with the right meeting ♥&#239&#184&#143 - I can sit, come inside, leave it, find my crate, come up, lay down, and find my bone. I sometimes need reminders but I am eager to learn! - I love puzzles with treat rewards, I have a really impressive nose when it comes to locating treats! - If I could ask for one thing from my new forever home, it would be to please be patient with me. My past is unknown to my foster parents, but it wasn’t one where I was loved. I need a home with lots of humans and lots of attention and loving, and I can return all of that love to you! ♥&#239&#184&#143 If you are interested in meeting me and getting in some cuddles, please apply for me today @BuffaloCares.org, I will be waiting for you! Hugs and kisses, Minnie! Adoption Fee $425     Someone who loves me so much but can’t have me sponsored part of my adoption fee so my adopter only has to pay an $250 towards my adoption fee! You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi, I am Ringo a one year old Pit Bull/Plott Hound mix. If you are looking for the perfect armchair quarterback buddy, I’m your guy.  I will sit next to you while we cheer on the Bills, discuss the awesomeness of Josh Allen or analyze why they didn’t go for it on 4th and 1. I’ll stay right next to you only asking for the occasional pet and I will give you a kiss in return. I love playing with my foster canine brother and if he is taking a nap I am good just chewing on a bone. I know some basic commands such as sit and come and I am doing great with my leash skills. I am completely housebroken and haven’t had a single accident since coming to hang with my foster parents. I do great in the crate when my foster parents are at work or sleeping. Are you ready to adopt the Bills newest fan and cheer them on to the Super Bowl together!! If so fill out an application today @BuffaloCares.org so we can enjoy the next Bills game together! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi! My name is Spot (but my foster parents keep calling me Shorty). I am a year old. My foster parents say I’m a “pocket pitty”, which I’m pretty sure is just another way to make fun of me for being so short. I love to hang out with my people, whether we are going for a walk or just laying on the couch. I REALLY like to snuggle. As long as I’m with you I’m happy! I love to play with other dogs. I live with another dog now and I love wrestling with him and going on walks with him. I live in a busy neighborhood and I can be a little bit of a scaredy-dog but I am much braver when my foster brother is with me. I also like to play with the cats I live with now and I know I have to be a gentle boy when I do. Even though I’m a big one year old boy, I’m still a puppy, so I’m still learning that I need to be on my best behavior in the house. I can be a little enthusiastic when I see someone I love (which is everyone). But my foster parents say I am learning fast! My foster brother really helps me by showing me how to be a good dog in the house. I can’t wait to meet my forever family and show them what a good boy I can be! We believe he would be a good candidate for dog daycare if a future adopter needs to work outside of the home. If I sound like a good fit, please apply @buffalocares.org   Adoption Fee: $425.00    RR48   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.All dogs come fully up to date on shots, microchipped, heart worm tested, de-wormed, on flea and heart worm preventative, and spayed/neutered.  If interested in learning more or adopting please fill out an application on our website at www.buffalocares.org. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.    Hi there!  My name is Jacques, but you can call me Jack, Jax, or just about anything you want, if you take me home with you!  I’m a 1 ½ year old pittie who is both energetic and snuggly.  I love my humans and meeting new people. I’m friendly with both adults and children, but sometimes take a little time to warm up to other dogs. That could be because I was on my own on the streets for a while, and just need to take my time getting to know other dogs.  But once I do, I love to romp and play with them! I’m crate trained, and go in when my humans aren’t home, and at night.  Of course, I’d prefer to sleep in bed with you (remember the snuggly?)  I also eat my meals in my crate, so it’s like a hotel with room service!  I’m also good at learning, and know commands like “sit,” and “down.”  I’m also working on my leash manners, so we can take long walks in the park together.   I’d love to find a home with another dog to help me burn off my energy, but if you’re an active home who likes to play, I’m cool with that too.  I love my humans, after all. I have super soft fur, so when it’s snuggle time, I love getting pet, and will always love you! Apply @buffalocares.org, if I sound like the perfect match! Story
Meet Rosie, a super sweet girl with a heart as big as Texas! Rosie had a bit of an adventurous stint as a stray, but now she's all set to find her perfect forever home.Rosie is a furry socialite who gets along wonderfully with her fellow doggie pals. However, she does have one little quirk—cats and Rosie aren't exactly a match made in heaven. Those frisky felines tend to trigger her playful chase instincts! When it comes to humans, Rosie is a total cuddlebug. She's convinced she's a lap dog and won't hesitate to hop right up for some quality snuggle time. But here's the fun part: Rosie's got a spirited teenage attitude. When she's told "no" or caught doing something she shouldn't, she's not one to back down quietly—she'll talk back with all the sass!If you're ready to bring a sweet and silly addition to your family, Rosie is more than prepared for her forever home. And yes, she's absolutely transportable, so don't let the Texas distance discourage you, transport only costs $230. Apply today and let the fun begin! Online Application: https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=ch2817&method=online_form_html&formid=41*Disclaimer: This pet is located in Texas. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Tiny is ready for her new home!  She is an 8 year old English Bulldog and is a not so tiny 60 pounds! Tiny came to us when her family was no longer able to care for her and her sister.   Tiny embodies the quintessential characteristics of her breed - she's delightfully lazy, remarkably stubborn, and undeniably bossy, if given the chance! Despite these quirks, she has a heart of gold and is incredibly affectionate. There's one thing that truly gets her excited - her treats, especially when it's cheese time in her foster home!  One look at Tiny's face when it's time for a walk or a car ride, and you'll see pure joy. She loves getting baths and jumps into the tub, sitting patiently as she gets scrubbed up, relishing her very own spa day. Tiny is nicely crate trained and goes right in when asked.  She is also house trained, although she may need a gentle nudge in the morning due to her reluctance to rise and shine. Unfortunately, Tiny has a strong dislike for cats and will not hesitate to chase them, so a feline-free home is a must. As for other dogs, she generally gets along with them, except for the more boisterous types. It is on her terms, so an owner who is familiar with bullies would be ideal. Tiny is great with kids, but she can't handle the energy of very young children. Therefore, we believe that kids in her new home should be at least 12 years old. If you have small children visiting, she will gladly take a nap in her crate while they are there!  Tiny came to us with some skin and ear/eye infections, which is very typical for English Bulldogs (EBDs). Her food was immediately switched to a fish-based diet and that has been a great help. She cannot have chicken or lamb. Her skin is still healing but with consistent bathing and time, it will be fine. Tiny also had a fatty mass (it was tested!). Tiny is spayed, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg. for heartworm.  Her adoption fee is $500Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 3, 2024, 11:29 am
