Story
My name means "boy" or "brother," which makes sense because I'm a beautiful brindle male with lots of bubba in me! I like fun; I like to play! I'm very friendly, and being pretty young, want to learn tricks (fun!) and discover toys (play!) You bet I like walks and hikes and stuff like that (more play!) But you bet I like what we can do after, which is to chillax on the couch and dream about being potatoes. Well, I guess dream about something like that. But couch work's really about cuddling. And scratches. And living the dream of being in your forever home and me having you as my forever friend. Let's dream together! Primary Color: Brindle Secondary Color: White Weight: 42.6 Age: 1yrs 0mths 3wks

Story
ntroducing Paisley, a remarkable canine with a heartwarming story. She first found her home through PACA as a tiny puppy, and after 12 years of love and companionship, she returned to PACA due to the passing of her owner. Paisley's favorite activities include leisurely walks, basking in the sun-drenched grass, savoring her bone treats, and cuddling with her soft, squeaky toys. She would thrive in a tranquil home environment with a human companion who can provide her with ample attention, especially as she copes with some age-related health issues and struggles with navigating stairs. On the bright side, Paisley adores car rides, walks beautifully on a leash, maintains impeccable manners indoors, and is always eager to bring joy to those around her. Thank you for considering a rescue pet! PACA operates as a Foster-Based Rescue without a physical shelter. For those interested, we are more than happy to arrange a Private Meet-and-Greet with the foster parent and your household upon the approval of your application. You can conveniently complete the online application by visiting https://form.jotform.com/222028369049155. We are excited to help Paisley find her perfect forever home!

Story
Loves: space with grass for sunbathing and zoomies, leash walks/runs, car rides, soft beds, toys, belly rubs, leadership, and consistency from her Human. Loves NOT so much: sharing HOME space with other 4-legged creatures. Moxie tends to "attach" herself to one person, this has ranged from adult to child. Therefore we recommend a home with adults only who can use common sense techniques to redirect any over-protective tendencies. Moxie does not what to lead the pack but if there is no APPARENT Leader she will step up to the plate which creates anxiety and bad behaviors for any dog. We have adoption clinic on the 1st Saturday of each month from 11a-2pm at 6300 San Mateo (along the grass next to Academy Rd) in the southern end of the Spouts Market parking lot volunteer staffing/weather permitting. We can also make arrangements for a Private Meet-and-Greet with the foster parent and your household with approved applications. You can complete and easy online application here: https://form.jotform.com/222028369049155 The $250 adoption fee covers S/N, microchip, vaccines and heartworm/tic borne illness testing.

Story
Whether you think of me as a dancing queen or a jumping bean, I’m ready to show you my happy feet! I’m a playful 40 lb pocket pittie with enough puppy energy to make me fun, but not so much to be obnoxious. I love boogying around the yard with my foster dog siblings, wrestling, and running until we settle down with a nice bone to chew. The people are not sure how old I am, so their best guess is somewhere between 6 to 12 months. I’m learning all about being the best girl! I’m doing great with daily walks and am working hard on my leash manners. I also behaved like a total pro at the weekend rescue event. Potty training is still a work in progress—I’m good about going outside, but sometimes I forget that it's not an indoor activity. My foster parents say I’m so smart, I’ll have it mastered in no time! I can’t wait to find my own yard to play in and a fur-ever family to give all my kisses and snuggles. And just wait until you see my adorable head tilt when you talk to me—I’m always listening! PACA is a Foster-Based Rescue with no shelter. We have adoption clinic on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month from 11a-2pm at 6300 San Mateo (along the grass next to Academy Rd) in the southern end of the Spouts Market parking lot volunteer staffing/weather permitting. Story
WATCH MY VIDEO! I am a big, sweet boy who is a good candidate for playing fetch, going on walks and then just relaxing with my peeps! I love to be pet, give kisses and reap mucho attention from my family. A team member notes: I spent time with Gilbert in his room. He quickly became a loving dog, staying right in front of me for rubs and scratches. He also gave me some very polite kisses. Notes from a recent Doggie Date: Gilbert did well in the car ride to the park. He walks well on leash but pulled a little because he was interested in exploring the new territory we took him to. The thing that stood out the most about him is that he loves attention and affection. You can pet him all over. He is super gentle taking treats and his kisses are so sweet. He was well-behaved at a quiet (non busy, no other dogs) coffee shop patio. Although he is big enough to have surfed our table, he did not. He does not jump up on you. Gilbert will probably make a really good family pet! 5 Fun Facts I love all treats but hotdogs and peanut butter are my favorite! My favorite toy right now are rubber balls! Favorite activity is going on a run w/you I am working on sitting right now. I am energetic so I would be a great workout buddy!

Story
Carmen is one of the Ranch`s long-time residences who is yet to find her forever home. She can be very shy when it comes to meeting new people and likes to approach people at her own pace. Once she trusts you, she will want to be around you all the time! She loooves water and enjoys standing around in the kiddie pools to cool off in the summer. She is a little selective about the dogs she enjoys being around and tends to prefer the company of submissive females. She would do best in a home without kids and a tall fence since she has some incredible `hops`.Come meet Carmen at the Main Ranch Location. For further information email dogswmr@gmail.com

Story
Remington is a playful and boisterous puppy-at-heart. He would love to find an active home with large dog experience. He’s been yearning for a home for a very long time. He is great with people, but his enthusiasm and energy might make him a best fit for children 12 years or older. He is dog selective; the best match would be a medium to large, mellow dog that doesn’t overwhelm him. He is very sweet and loves life. Remington would thrive from walks with his owner and a balanced diet. He is cat reactive, so a home with a cat would not be ideal. He can be see at the main ranch location. Story
Meet Tipsy! This gorgeous brown Pittie has had it rough but has come out just as happy and loveable as ever. She was dumped and abandoned at our main ranch facility where she was lost and scared, but came up to staff so friendly. She was then taken to the city shelter for her stray hold and then brought back to us! Shortly after, she was diagnosed with Parvo, in which she was quarantined and fighting for her life. She survived and came out as strong as ever. Because she was quarantined for so long, she has big-girl energy and would do well with a large back yard and room to run! She also does well with other dogs and enjoys the playful company. She is still learning all the behavioral commands and would do well with a family who understands she is young and still learning. Because she is a Parvo survivor she cannot be adopted into a home with any dog under a year old. This beauty is looking for her furrever family. If you are interested or have any questions please stop by our main ranch facility or email dogswmr@gmail.com

Story
Meet Enya! This sweet lady is a ranch favorite! Enya came to us with her 9 puppies, she was extremely skinny as she was putting all her energy into caring for her pups, our team quickly made efforts to get some weight on her and gain her trust. While Enya is very nervous around new people she does open up when given enough time and treats. Enya does best when she has a doggy friend to play with as they help her feel brave. Due to her history of being a stray, a home visit and meet and greet is required before she can go to her new home. You can meet Enya at our main ranch location or for more information please email dogswmr@gmail.com

This Sweet girl is new to the Watermelon Family, and we are still learning about her, but what we have learned so far is that she is great with other dogs and is very very friendly to people. She is able to climb a chain link fence, so her new home would need a very tall fence made of either wood or cinderblock.
