Meet Tankie – Your New Best Buddy! Tankie is an 8-year-old sweetheart currently in Florida and looking for a forever family in or around New Jersey! He may have a little gray around the muzzle, but don't let that fool you—he’s still full of life and energy for playtime, walks, and tons of snuggles. Here’s what makes Tankie so special: - Kid-Friendly: Gentle and affectionate with kids. - Dog-Cautious, Not Aggressive: A slow introduction with other dogs is best, as he’s a bit cautious after an incident at the dog park. - House Trained: Housebroken and non-destructive, Tankie roams freely at home. - Loves Car Rides & Toys: A pro traveler who’s always up for a new toy! - Commands & Manners: He knows his basics, respects boundaries, and has no food or toy aggression. Tankie's favorite thing? Curling up under a blanket with his humans nearby. He doesn't have separation anxiety but prefers to be near you if you're home. If crated, he likes to be in a cozy room without seeing too much activity. Tankie’s current family is going through a divorce and wants to find him a loving home in or around New Jersey where he can thrive. He’s ready to bring joy, snuggles, and a loyal heart to a lucky family! Interested in fostering or adopting this handsome boy?
