ABOUT REINA This big, beautiful girl is looking to be your one and only furbaby! Reina is about 3 years old and came to HAP when her owners could no longer care for a pet. When she arrived, she was missing several chunks of fur and had severely irritated skin. We started her on medication and regular baths, to soothe her skin and she has since regrown the majority of her bright, white coat! Reina is not a fan of other dogs, so the shelter environment can be stressful for her at times, with a lot of barking and other dogs nearby. Despite this, once she is outside and away from the loud noises, she is very relaxed and her true personality shines! Reina is very affectionate with people and eager to please. She knows basic commands and appears house-trained too! Reina has LOVED participating in our Doggy Day Out program, here's what our some of her volunteer friends have to say about her: "I took sweet girl Reina out today! Everyone we passed fell in love with her, as she walked down the street with her stuffed unicorn in her mouth. I took her to UD's green, where she met a few people. We went down to the athletic department, where she became a honorary member of UD's athletic training staff. Next, I took her to my new apartment to chill out. She zonked out for about 40 minutes until she was ready to go. I took her to McDonalds for a mcnugget which she LOVED! On her way back, she zonked out again in the back of my car. Whoever adopts this sweet girl is very lucky to have such a great companion in their lives! - Katie "Reina was the perfect pup today! We went for a little stroll through Bellevue state park and finished our morning with a pup cup. She is very gentle on the leash and walks very well. Very rarely does she pull, only did it once when she saw a squirrel. She did not react to bikes, people walking, kids, nothing. She is very sweet and loving. She is also so laidback and relaxed. Reina was great in the car too! Hopped right in and laid in the back seat. She's a sweet girl and I hope someone can give her the calm home environment she deserves! - Lilly **Reina is seeking a home as your only pet. If you are interested in adopting this dog, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. Story
ABOUT SUNFLOWER Sunflower is a 2-year-old sweetheart! Before making her way to HAP, Sunflower was originally a Texas girl. Despite being bounced around a bit, this girl isn't phased at all! Sunflower LOVES meeting new people and has done well walking with her doggy friends at the shelter! This sweet girl is quick to roll over in order for someone to have full access to pay the tummy tax! One of Sunflower's favorite things is to 'go shopping' in one of the many toy baskets in our facility and she will help herself by throwing herself almost completely into the basket and will take her time searching through until she finds the one her heart desires! Once she's made her selection, she likes to cuddle up with the toy before bringing it in with her into her kennel where she has a huge toy pile of all of her favorite possessions that she's always snuggling with! While she's only been with us less than a month, she has already had many adventures through our Doggy Day Out program. Here's what some volunteers had to say about her: "Sunflower is the sweetest baby! We walked 5.3 miles at Bellevue Park. Met a couple horses on the trail which I think fascinated her! Had a good time sniffing all around, saw squirrels, people, other dogs and she was fine. She didn't pull on the leash and she was always checking in with me during our walk. She loves pets and has a constant tail wag. I needed to help her into the car because she is a shorty but she had no trouble getting out. She is just the perfect doggo! - Autumn "I took Sunflower out today! She's such a sweet girl (and very photogenic)! She loved sniffing, watching squirrels, and meeting people. Walked very well on a leash for almost 4 miles! Of course we ended the day with a pup cup. I hope she finds her family soon! - Sydney If you are interested in adopting this dog, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. Story
Sage's adoption fee is sponsored by Service Unlimited, Inc for approved applicants!   If Sage was a song she’d be “Easy like Sunday Morning.” Sage is such a sweet, easy, soulful pup. Sage is around 6 years old, 65lbs, she is completely house and crate trained and she loves training and learning new tricks. She has the most soulful eyes that will melt any heart! Sage came to Faithful Friends after she was found on the side of the road by a family in an area known for pets being dumped. They brought her home but couldn’t keep her so they brought her to the shelter. We quickly noticed that Sage had an injured back leg and after being looked at by the vet it was discovered she had an old break that had healed wrong and the only option for her was amputation. So Sage is now an adorable tripawd but it doesn’t bother her one bit! She gets around as well as any other dog and she needs no special medicine, equipment or attention. We actually think it gives her character! Sage spent her recovery in a foster home and we learned that she is a perfect house guest! She has wonderful house manners, she loves to snuggle, she can stay home by herself with no problems and she loves everyone who comes to visit her! Sage is the perfect age, around 5 years old. She is passed her puppy period and has figured everything out but she still has the energy to do all the fun things like hiking, walks or playing in the yard. Sage loves every human she meets and her foster mom even took her to work with her! She would prefer to be your one and only pet in the home and she deserves the world after everything she’s been through. Come meet Sage and her soulful puppy eyes! She is ready to leave shelter life behind her for good!     &#226&#128&#139 Have Room in Your Home? Welcoming in a pet saves your new pet's life and creates space for another pet to get a chance! Story
Coco is a little over a year old. She is full of energy. Loves to run, and play. She needs someone who will keep her exercised and busy. She loves pets and snuggles. She is very playful with cats and small children so an introduction period may be necessary. She is fixed, house broken and crate trained but we have not had any professional training. We can provide vet records. I would request a vet reference for any potential adopters.

Story
Looking for a new King in your castle? I'm looking for a new home to call my own! I came to the shelter when my owner wasn't able to care for me, and I'm not so sure I like the shelter when I have seen what the life of being a spoiled pup can be like! I am still a young guy - just around 9 months old and already a hefty 60 pounds, so I may get a smidge bigger as I grow! I was doing well with house training, and could likely thrive in an active home who will let me run, play and explore to my heart's content! If you think we could be a royally great match, come meet me and let's see if we can take on life together!   Have Room in Your Home? Welcoming in a pet saves your new pet's life and creates space for another pet to get a chance! Not sure if King would be the best fit for you? Send in a generic app!
