Story
**Fenced Yard Required**Dixie Chick is an adorable and sweet girl! She likes to show off her wiggle butt when she's being silly! She's strong and active, but is also very affectionate. She has been in a foster home and they said "she will make a wonderful addition to a home with a big family, children, but no other dogs or cats. She has an extremely loving personality to everyone and really does think she is lap dog! Her favorite place to be is right beside you on the couch! She loves being around a big family so she has lots of love, play, and a stimulation to tire her out for bedtime. I have never seen a dog be so appreciative of what she has. She is the happiest dog ever and just wants a warm couch and a human to kiss!"Dixie Chick is eligible for our Senior Dog Adoption Reimbursement Program! For select senior dogs FCAR will offer a senior reimbursement program of maximum of $300 per year for the life of the animal. Qualifying purchases include only the following items: wellness exam, annual vaccinations including Bordetella, and heartworm prevention. Adopter is responsible for taking the animal to their veterinarian for all services. Once the service is received and paid for, adopters can submit copies of their receipts to fayettefcar@hotmail.com and we will send them a check, maximum reimbursement in 12 month time frame is $300.We seized Dixie Chick from her owner who violated her probation after pleading guilty to animal cruelty.Dixie Chick's date of birth is 2/1/2015 and she weighs about 50 pounds. Story
***FENCED YARD REQUIRED***Stone was found standing in the middle of a road by a kind man. He immediately contacted us because Stone had numerous scabs, open wounds, hair loss and scars all over his head, legs and body. Both of his front legs were swollen. His tail and one of his legs had been broken. He was in horrible condition! We got him to the vet as soon as possible and discovered one of his front legs was possibly fractured recently. He was also loaded with parasites. Due to the location and shape of some of his scars, our vet told us he was probably a "bait dog", meaning dog fighters used him as bait to train the fighting dogs. Despite his condition and his past, Stone is so sweet to everyone!! Our staff and volunteers have been giving him so much love and attention, and he is definitely enjoying his new life. He loves to go on walks and get out some of his energy. Stone is very dog selective, so it would be best for him to be the only dog in the home. He wants all the love for himself!!Stone's date of birth is 12/6/2017 and he weighs about 50 pounds.Stone spent some time in a foster home and his foster mom told us this about him, "Stone is so gentle and kind. He walks well on a leash, takes treats really gently, and is just a calm, quiet boy."All of our rescues are rehabilitated and once healthy are available for an adoption fee of $95 for cats and dogs. Story
This is Jude!  She is a sweet young lady!  She came to us as a new momma of six puppies. She took great care of her puppies and they are all adopted now. She loves to play but also loves to snuggle and loves to be with her humans. She will sit on your feet and keep them warm (or if you let her sit in your lap!).  Jude loves hugs and pets from her humans. She is very sweet and calm most times - but loves to play and has energy to run. She loves to go for walks but does get excited at the start and can pull, but we are working on that.  Jude loves to ride in the vehicle. Jude is very smart and is responsive to commands and training. Jude currently spends her days in an outdoor run and her nights in her crate inside. She is housed next to another female dog who she gets along great with. She likes other dogs but gets too excited and has a dominant personality that can lead to conflict. She is best as an only dog or with an owner with breed specific experience. She is about 3 years old, and weighs 45 lbs.   Jude has been spayed, is current on her vaccinations and microchipped.  Her adoption fee is $225. This girl deserves a good home. If you would like to apply to adopt Jude, please fill out our online application here:  http://www.newbeginningsanimalrescue.net.  Any questions, please email us at:  newbeginnigs_animalrescue@yahoo.com.   THANK YOU FOR CONSIDERING ADOPTING A RESCUED PET!  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 1, 2024, 11:47 am

Story
This is Ruby!  She was found on the streets of Memphis and a couple days later she had 15 puppies in our rescue. She took great care of her puppies and they are all adopted now. Ruby is a gentle soul. She looks at you with eyes that show appreciation for her life. Her tail is always slowly wagging and she has a happy bark that bounces her whole body. Ruby loves hugs and pets from her humans. She is very sweet and calm most times - but does like to chew on bones and has energy to do short zoomies in the yard. She loves to go for slow walks especially if she gets to sniff along the way. It is entertaining to watch her look for bugs in the grass. She is always jumping back in surprise at  any movement.  She will throw herself down on the grass  and rub her back conv e nien tly exposing her belly for a rub . Ruby likes to be hosed down when it is hot out. Ruby is very smart and is responsive to commands and training. Ruby currently spends her days in an outdoor run and her nights in her crate inside. She is housed next to another female dog who she gets along great with. She likes other dogs but doesn't put up with any silly play.    She is best as an only dog or with an owner with breed specific experience. She is about 6  years old, and weighs 70   lbs.       Ruby has been spayed, is current on her vaccinations and microchipped.  Her adoption fee is $225.
