Story
Lloyd is an older gentleman seeking a retirement home who wants a well-mannered guy who is past the puppy stages. He is estimated to be about 8 years old. He is the typical pittie who loves all people and does the happiest backend booty dance for butt scratches. Lloyd loves to go on walks, play with his toys and be around his human. Age: 8 years Breed: Pitbull/mix  Weight: ~65lbs Kid-friendly: He's a big boy so we  recommend older kiddos! Dogs: Yes, likes to go off and do his own thing though, sniff trees and walk around. Cats: No, he does have prey drive. Crate trained: Yes!  Loves to sleep by his human family though. Potty trained: Yes Health concerns: He does require Thyroid medication daily. Current medications & estimated costs: ~$25 every 2 months Adoption fee: $275 As a rescue, we provide the care, procedures and testing that is available to us. Adopters will be responsible for continued preventatives, follow-up appointments, and medications (if applicable). At times, adopters will be responsible for procedures not completed in rescue (dentals, bloodwork, etc.)  Your new dog will receive their rabies and distemper vaccine.  $50 discount for seniors (65+) and veterans. Adoption fees help pay for the dog's veterinary exam, vaccinations (rabies and distemper) HW test and spay/neuter if needed and additional health needs specific to each animal.   Grey Face Rescue does not adopt outside of Minnesota for now. We apologize for the inconvenience.  We do not adopt animals to families whose current pets are not up-to-date on vaccinations or not altered. Exceptions may be made for medical reasons as stated by a veterinarian and we will require proof of that recommendation. Thank you for understanding our mission to reduce overpopulation.  Once you submit your application, our adoption manager will be in touch, so please check your spam folder if you do not see something from us within 7-10 days.  Thank you again for your interest in a Grey Face senior. We appreciate your support!   November 4, 2024, 7:47 pm

Story
Junabie is the sweetest pit you would ever meet. I got her from a shelter in NC when she was about 6 months old and she is now 7. She can be extremely energetic when it's playtime but also enjoys her rest times. I've always described her as a dog who would love an emotional support human as she can never get enough cuddles and belly rubs. Junabie really just loves to be around people and be a part of a pack. Shed make a great lap dog.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Halo, a pup with a heart full of love and a playful spirit! This sweet boy is crate trained, rides well in the car and enjoys playing with other dogs. Halo is a typical goofy puppy, who loves to cuddle, often falling asleep in the silliest positions. Although he can be a bit shy at first, he warms up and shows his playful side. Small children do make him nervous, so a home with no littles would be best. Halo would thrive in a quiet home, especially with another playful dog to keep him company. Born in rescue with his brother Cosmo, he may look like a Labrador Retriever, but his Cocker Spaniel roots shine through in his personality. Check out the image of his DNA test if you don't believe it! If you’re looking for a loving, goofy companion, Halo might just be the perfect fit for you!   Halo is from Texas.  If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Tobias Turnpike (aka Toby Toebeans) is as sweet as he's beefy. He's the perfect mix of cuddly, playful, and social. We believe he would make an excellent addition to any home that doesn't have a cat (since he has an intense allergy to them). True to his gentle nature, Toby lays down to get his nails trimmed, tolerates baths as long as treats are involved, and keeps his cool at the vet, even when he's being poked. While he's not a barker, he's still a great communicator. He will let you know when he needs to go potty or when he's hungry. He will grumble or come over to you and put his big paws on your lap and stare at you. When he's relaxed and enjoying snuggles, he grins, and if he wants more pets, he taps you with his paw. If you sit with Toby, he will sit beside you, rest his head on your chest, and snooze. Once he gets relaxed, he melts down to a puddle next to you. Tobias is a total cuddle bug. His favorite pastime is snuggling with his humans. We rate his cuddles A+!!  Check out this  video  of Tobias walking nicely on leash.     Tobias Turnpike is from a local shelter. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hello, my name is Kida. I am just the sweetest puppy you will ever meet! I love belly rubs, playing with toys, and going on walks. Sleeping on my foster mom’s lap is the best! Especially if there is a soft blanket for me to lay under. I am very loyal and I really enjoy being near my people. I do like to chase squirrels so a home with no small critters would be best. My current foster home has 2 big dogs and I like running around and playing with them. I can be bossy when playing so an easy going companion who can politely tell me “no” would be best. I would do great as a solo dog as well since I love attention and would enjoy having the couch all to myself. I would do best in a home with older kids (12+) since younger kids make me nervous. I am very smart but still pretty young so I would love a patient family that has time to teach me new things.   Kida is from a local shelter.
