You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.&#226&#156&#168 Meet Betty — Your Gentle Giant Bestie &#226&#156&#168 Betty is a beautiful 3-year-old Pit Bull / Great Dane mix with a heart as big as her paws and a soul that’s soft, sweet, and quietly silly once she feels safe. She is dog and cat friendly and has experience at doggy daycare, so she knows how to coexist in a social setting. Betty has also done well in a home with older children, making her a great fit for a family that understands respectful dog interactions. She loves to play and have fun, though she can be a little enthusiastic for smaller dogs, so medium-to-large canine companions are her best match. Betty can be a bit of a scaredy pup at first. She’s a submissive, gentle girl who may hang back or cower with some new people while she figures out she’s safe. Other times, she’ll walk right up like an old friend. Once she knows you’re kind, she warms up quickly and shows her affectionate, goofy, loving personality. Calm energy, patience, and reassurance help her shine. &#226&#156&#168 Why this Pit Bull / Great Dane mix is extra special: • Pit Bulls are known for being loyal, affectionate, and people-oriented • Great Danes are famous gentle giants—sweet, sensitive, and devoted • Together, they create a dog who is loving, emotionally intuitive, and deeply bonded to her humans Betty is ready for a home that will let her build confidence at her own pace and reward her with the love she so freely gives. Think Betty might be your perfect match? Story
Location: Mapleton, MN **This is a courtesy post - all inquires need to be sent to britni.greenfield@yahoo.com** Meet Tootsie Roll 🍫🐾 Tootsie Roll (also known as Elenor) is a 7-year-old senior pitty mix with a heart as big as her love for kisses! This sweet girl is a total cuddle bug and is known for giving the biggest, sloppiest kisses you’ll ever receive. When she’s not showing affection, she’s perfectly content lounging around the house, soaking up the good life—and yes, she snores like a freight train while doing it. Even as an older lady, Tootsie still loves going on walks and will occasionally surprise you with some adorable zoomies that show she’s still got plenty of pep left in her step. Tootsie is great with kids and does well with other dogs, as long as they respect her personal space. She’s an older gal who appreciates calm companions and peaceful vibes. She is potty trained and will go into a kennel if needed, but she much prefers stretching out on the couch or claiming an entire bed for herself in a cozy bedroom. Because Tootsie has a high prey drive, she will need a cat-free home. If you’re looking for a laid-back, loving companion who enjoys both naps and neighborhood strolls, Tootsie Roll may be your perfect match. 💕 --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration). Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.

Story
Location: Minneapolis, MN If you are looking for a pup with a lot of love and a lot of wiggles, Jillian is your girl. With big, beautiful amber eyes, Jillian’s personality easily shines through. While she is a huge sweetheart, she does need continued boundary work as she thinks the best way to let others know she loves them and wants to play is to get right up into their personal space! Fortunately, she is a little smarty pants and is picking up on cues and commands very quickly. Jillian is also continuing to improve with crate training even if she will default to a dramatic puppy flop before walking into the crate willingly. Her progress is best with the help of treats as bribes! We have learned that when crated, she does a lot better in a high-traffic area as she seems to relax when she is able to see what is going on around her. She does cry a bit when crated, but only because she has a serious case of FOMO, but appears to be calming more quickly as time goes on. While Jillian has not been left alone for long periods of time in the house, during the short bouts, she has done really well and usually is just lounging on the sofa. Jillian is primarily potty-trained but sometimes seems to “forget” she can’t just pee wherever is most convenient; with that being said, accidents are becoming more and more uncommon. She does very well with potty prompts and will wait for someone to accompany her when she needs to pee outside but doesn’t hesitate to explore once she is there. Since we are still gauging her overall reactiveness and recall, we always keep an eye on her in the backyard even though it is fenced in. Jillian has a lot of energy, is outgoing, and loves to play with both four-legged friends and humans. She does have a high prey-drive and would do best in a house that does not have any other pets aside from dogs. Jillian is also taking several walks a day to work on her leash skills and catching on really quickly - we are learning to “leave it”, “wait”, and “eyes” (when needing her attention); she tends to crowd and pull on the leash so we are also working on side by side walking and pressure commands with the leash. With patience and consistency, she will no doubt continue to improve. Most days, Jillian will be out playing in the backyard with her foster brother Meeka, a husky, taking walks through the neighborhood, playing with her squeak toys, getting all the pets, and curled up on the couch or dog bed taking a nap. In just a short amount of time, Jillian has learned both the verbal and nonverbal signals for “sit”, “wait”, “hands in”, and “lie down”. While we haven’t done tons of car rides, she seems very interested in hopping in whenever the car door is open. She is eager to learn and very treat-motivated! Jillian is a sweet, playful, and loyal pup who is looking for a loving, active family to grow with. If you are ready for a lively spirit, funny personality, and unconditional companionship - Jilly Bean will be a great fit! --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please complete  an Adoption Request Form. This is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract. To learn more about our adoption process, please visit our Adoption Process page on our website at www.rescuecrew.org. Meet Daphne — 40lbs of pure, unfiltered, pitbull perfection with a special zest for life. If you’ve been searching for a dog with main-character energy and a strong commitment to keeping life interesting, your girl has arrived. Daphne's passions revolve around playtime. She's a tug-of-war champion and a squeaky toy connoisseur who will happily review (loudly) every toy you provide. Have too many toys hanging around? Toys that need breaking in? Squeakers on the inside that need to be on the outside? She can take care of that and all your custom toy destruction needs. When she's all tuckered out, don't forget to tune in for her rendition of particularly loud house hippo snores. Daphne is truly the life of the party, with ear positions so expressive they deserve their own TikTok account. Her zoomies rival a track star, and her sploots? Olympic-level. Please clap. Her hobbies are just as iconic:  Attempting to drink all the bath water before she’s fully clean. Proudly carrying her own leash on excursions, because miss independent's got this. Critiquing your cooking with the intensity of a Food Network judge. Accidentally bonking her adorable block head into every corner of your home, because spatial awareness is for other dogs. Daphnee is goofy, lovable, and bursting with personality. She’s looking for a home that can appreciate her silly spirit, embrace her chaos, and love her endlessly in return. If you’re ready for laughs, playtime, cuddles, and a daily dose of joyful nonsense, Daphnee might just be your perfect match. The Fine Print (aka: Daphne’s Disclaimer): This girl has zero comprehension of her own enthusiasm and may accidentally overwhelm tiny humans - a toddler-free home is recommended. Cats are a similar case, though she's proven to do well with dog-savvy felines. Kennel training is currently a work in progress; she approaches it with the same chaotic enthusiasm she brings to all things — like she’s the slightly dramatic heiress of her crate kingdom. With consistency (and maybe some snacks), she’s getting the hang of it. Daphnee will thrive with a confident, committed owner who can continue her training, reinforce structure, and help her grow into the amazing dog she’s meant to be. Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption.   The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a physical location where you can stop by to visit the animals - we require the completion of an Adoption Request Form prior to meeting any of our adoptable pets in foster care. For the most complete information regarding this animal, and all of our adoptable pets, please ensure you are visiting our website directly at www.RescueCrew.org. You can also access the necessary online forms here as well.  ##2594656##

Story
💜 Come meet me at our Adoption Event at Forgotten Star Brewing in Fridley on Sunday, 1/18 from 12:00pm - 2:00pm! 💚 Age: Approximately 3 years old Weight: 74lbs Dog friendly: Yes, requires a companion dog (Snow) in home Cat friendly: Unknown Kid friendly: Older/Considerate kids only Potty trained: Just about! Crate trained: Yes! Requirements: Bonded with Snow and fenced in yard Hello everyone! I am Moose. I am Snow’s little brother and I follow him around a lot and look for guidance, but once I get comfortable I am more independent. I love my big brother too much and we need to be together. I will bark often when I first meet someone but once you show me you are a good human, I am very loving and affectionate. I am just not as crazy as my brother Snow who approaches everyone with a lot of love and energy. I am a very chill guy who wants to lay down with my humans and show love. I am very strong and muscular and sometimes that scares people, but I am a kind and gentle boy. I have never shown any aggression towards a human, not even a nibble when giving kisses like my brother Snow has been known to do. I have a tendency to destroy every toy you give me! I love toys, but don’t spend a lot of money on them because I will destroy them. I need to find the squeaker and break it! It’s just one of my quirks. I also don’t like the vacuum so if you are going to vacuum then let me outside or kennel me up. Oh kennel! I like my crate and will go there myself when you just say “kennel”. I can sleep overnight and stay in there while you are at work! Just like my brother Snow! I just need you to let me out immediately after. I try my best to hold it but I really have to go potty after I am in the kennel. I enjoy walks and exercise but I am strong. So is my brother so it will be hard to walk us at the same time. That’s why we said a fenced in yard will be best. I bark at other dogs if I see them on a walk. I have been over to a friend’s house who had dogs and made friends very easily. There was even a grumpy old dog who snapped at me and I did not let it bother me. I also like going for rides in the car, just buckle me in or tie my leash to the headrest in the back seat and you won’t even know I am there. I hope you consider us for your family! We make friends with everyone who gives us a chance. We don’t fight (except sometimes over toys) and we are just a couple of handsome happy hippos! Adoption fee (total for Moose and Snow): $500
