Story
Lloyd is an older gentleman seeking a retirement home who wants a well-mannered guy who is past the puppy stages. He is estimated to be about 8 years old. He is the typical pittie who loves all people and does the happiest backend booty dance for butt scratches. Lloyd loves to go on walks, play with his toys and be around his human. Age: 8 years Breed: Pitbull/mix  Weight: ~65lbs Kid-friendly: He's a big boy so we  recommend older kiddos! Dogs: Yes, likes to go off and do his own thing though, sniff trees and walk around. Cats: No, he does have prey drive. Crate trained: Yes!  Loves to sleep by his human family though. Potty trained: Yes Health concerns: He does require Thyroid medication daily. Current medications & estimated costs: ~$25 every 2 months Adoption fee: $275 As a rescue, we provide the care, procedures and testing that is available to us. Adopters will be responsible for continued preventatives, follow-up appointments, and medications (if applicable). At times, adopters will be responsible for procedures not completed in rescue (dentals, bloodwork, etc.)  Your new dog will receive their rabies and distemper vaccine.  $50 discount for seniors (65+) and veterans. Adoption fees help pay for the dog's veterinary exam, vaccinations (rabies and distemper) HW test and spay/neuter if needed and additional health needs specific to each animal.   Grey Face Rescue does not adopt outside of Minnesota for now. We apologize for the inconvenience.  We do not adopt animals to families whose current pets are not up-to-date on vaccinations or not altered. Exceptions may be made for medical reasons as stated by a veterinarian and we will require proof of that recommendation. Thank you for understanding our mission to reduce overpopulation.  Once you submit your application, our adoption manager will be in touch, so please check your spam folder if you do not see something from us within 7-10 days.  Thank you again for your interest in a Grey Face senior. We appreciate your support!   November 4, 2024, 7:47 pm

Story
Junabie is the sweetest pit you would ever meet. I got her from a shelter in NC when she was about 6 months old and she is now 7. She can be extremely energetic when it's playtime but also enjoys her rest times. I've always described her as a dog who would love an emotional support human as she can never get enough cuddles and belly rubs. Junabie really just loves to be around people and be a part of a pack. Shed make a great lap dog.

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Location: Faribault, MN My name is Eva (Ava). I have been in rescue for over a year. It hasn't been easy for me; I came into rescue scared with a litter of puppies. My foster mom thinks I was used to having puppies/litters. I am scared of strangers, but my foster mom has been working on this with me all year and says we've made big progress. We've walked through towns and gotten many pup cups, those are my favorite! I have been to an adoption event, some people I was okay with, others not so much, as long as boundaries were respected, I was ok. Although I act tough my foster mom says I'm a total goof ball. I zoomie all through the yard and love when I get a super chewer barkbox!!! I am potty trained, I sleep all night in my kennel, I don't howl like my siblings. I get along with dogs, but I can be selective, I just really don't like when they're too hyper. The calmer the better. Mom says absolutely no small animals can be around me, can't imagine why, I love chasing the squirrels in the yard. In my free time I love to chew on my toys and nap, that's really it. Play outside, chew, nap, I'm pretty easy if I say so myself. I'll even nap in your lap if you let me. --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Story
Location: Spirit Lake, IA I am Salem the Great, I am a sweet boy that will melt your heart. The heart print in his tiny nose and coat says it all. I loves my back scratches; I love to cuddle on the couch with my foster mom. I give the best puppy kisses and absolutely love to run with the big dogs. I am working sit, come and working really hard at potty training. I get really excited at times and pee, but I'm still as baby and still have things to learn. I do well in my kennel but will cry at first at night because I miss the snuggles, I do well in my kennel at night and when my foster mom goes to work, and get really excited when she gets home and I can run in the back yard with my foster brother Diesel. I am learning to walk with a leash, so I will be the perfect walking buddy. I am excited to meet you and find my furrrrever home. ------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Story
Location: Sioux Falls, SD Hi my name is Bradford. I came to the rescue with my 3 siblings from a not so good situation. I love to get snuggles from my foster family and play rough with my foster dog sisters. I am still learning how to potty outside and love when I get treats for being a good boy! Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Location: St Cloud, MN Hi, I'm Caroline! I'm a little shy, but once I warm up, I am sweet and loving and love to cuddle. I am potty trained, do well in the kennel, AND on the leash, too! Treatos are the best and they get me motivated! I do like to have fun with other dogs! I really love going for walks and mealtime! This summer we went camping and I was a big fan!! I also do love to give kisses when I am excited! For Ms. Caroline we do think whoever adopts her should be a strong leader. She is strong and pulls on walks, so her foster will use a weighted backpack on her and use a gentle leader to burn that energy and have control of her when out. Slow introductions to other animals is a must! She is an alerter when people or dogs walk by the house but it doesn't last long and she retreats. She is able to go up to people for attention vs. before where she would hide. She is not crazy about small children(she is scared of them and hides, not aggressive) ----- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Story
Location: Rice, MN Meet Sprite! He is a sweet, fun, happy boy. He is more on the shy side and likes to stick close to his people and dog-siblings. He would absolutely love to have another dog in his new home. Another dog seems to give him more confidence as he can feel a little insecure at times. He does cry and howl if he's alone, and sounds like a Wookie sometimes too! Another dog helps him with the separation anxiety when we have to leave the house. He is slowly getting potty-training, and learning things like "go to kennel, sit, wait and of course "no! He is a typical boy dog, happy and loving but a little bit of a slow learner. We love this sweet, goofy guy! (My best guess: he is a Pitbull/Husky/Shepherd mix!) ----- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org).
