Hey Frens! Thanks for stopping on my profile to get to know me....bet it's my gorgeous white coat and perky ears that caught your attention...right...am I right? A little about me: My sister and I were abandoned by my first family next to a busy highway surviving the best we could. Sister Asta (also adoptable) was terribly traumatized so I cared and protected her the best I could. We are incredibly close and stick together. I love adventures and occasional scavenger hunts. So I'm hoping to find an active family to feed my athletic and energetic nature. My favorite thing is to hang out with my foster dad doing projects in the backyard. I'm really a Tomboy in dogs clothes. I like ppl but cautious when I meet them. So, proper introduction is a must. Same goes for other dogs. Meet Rio 'Member that scene from Lady and the Tramp where the dogs are sharing a single spaghetti? It's fake. I know this because no dog in their right tooting mind is going to share a pawsta string when there's an entire heckin meatball on the plate. Next thing you know we will find out that wasn't even pawsta, it was squash impersonating a pawsta :0 Either way, I'd have to have a stunt double for that scene because I do not enjoy sharing my food or treats. Foster Mom is practicing better table manners with me. Sharing is caring. She says. Which is ironical because she's never once so much as offered me even a nibble of her oreo cookies. I litterally look like an Oreo cookie which happens to be my Foster Moms favorite treat. Hint hint, send her a pallet for all the schooling she is doing for me. I LOVE TO TRAIN and Foster Mom says I'm a super fast learner. Indeed, I will do whatever a human wants for a food. I know my name, Rio, plus sit, come, down, come, "rest for cooperative care and a hand target. Speaking of Target, before you pick me up, be sure to stop off and get me lots of fetch toys. Get yourself something pretty too, like some chenille slippers, yeah, for yourself, I pawmise not to touch them. *crosses fingers behind his back* Foster Mom has been working with me on my dog-on-dog skills because I can be a real booger. I need a special kind of dog friend. Her own personal dog Jax is serving as my mentor. Here's what Jax has to say about me "Bruh, calm down. Dude, you need a home with a chill dog that is not easily annoyed. One that won't lash out but will still correct your obnoxiousness and inappropriate play. One that will tolerate your shenanigans. Okay, so you heard that raving review from my buddy ole pal compadre Jax. Note to self, find out what obnoxiousness, tolerate and inappropriate means, because honestly all I heard was chili dog and got hungry while visions of weenies danced in my head. :) Foster Mom did say, I would do best with a sturdy dog, my size or larger. I guess you need to know my size. I'm a ruff and tumble and mouthy player so your dog would have to be more of a rugby than hockey player. I have lots of fans on the internet and they also told me to be sure to mention my floppy ears, my freckled snooter and the fact that my feet most likely smell like frito pie which I'm fairly sure is a compliment. So if it helps to butter you up with compliments, I bet you smell like cheese because I think you're grate! Like most spunky young pups, I get the zoomies when excited. I love to play fetch and tug. I'm working on sharing my toys. I do need lots of approved chew toys such as pig ears. That reminds me, I am not good with cats. Cats are not approved toys. Cats are NOT approved toys. Worth repeating. I am crate trained, pretty much standard pawcedure. I did also try my heck hardest to get Foster Mom to give me driving lessons, so I could add that to my skill list, but she said "No Rio, dogs can't drive. I guess she's never seen a Subaru commercial. I like car rides but I don't enjoy being restrained so we are working on that too. I am loveable and active. Bath time and nail clip time are not a problem. Occasionally I impersonate a potato on the couch, but fun is more my taste. Foster Mom says if you are the type who enjoys entertaining antics and doesn't mind providing extra guidance, you'd be happy as my family. I would be good as an only son, but if you have current dogs that don't mind EXTRA level whippersnappers, that might work too. Foster Mom is a professional trainer and is willing to give you tips on how to make sure I stay on the path to good boy town. I'm excited to go to goodboyville with you as long as there are snacks and pit stops along the way. P.S. You're driving to good boy town, because 'member, Foster Mom wouldn't teach me how to drive. Our small canine family came to God's Dogs Rescue in a pickle, a rag tag group of Labradors and one pregnant female! We came to this safe haven with just 3 dogs and now we're a whole lot more! Mac is just the sweetest baby! We adopted him from the Human Society in May of 2023 and have had the pleasure of taking care of him ever since. Unfortunately, my Husband has developed severe allergies to dogs and we are no longer able to keep Mac. Mac is three years old and full of energy and love. Equally playful as he is cuddly, you will never have a dull moment around him. Mac came to us with no training as he was in the shelter for most of his life. Mac has spent time at a board and train program and it is safe to say Mac is now a very distinguished gentleman. Mac is kennel trained (when we leave the home and during the night) and house trained. He loves to play tug! Mac could play tug for hours if you let him. We request that Mac goes to a home with a fenced in backyard and require he go to a home with no other pets. With careful introduction Mac can make doggy friends (his size or larger).

Originally adopted puppy from Underdog Rescue Minnesota. I was originally working from home so had plenty of time to be at home with her, but I am no longer able to work from home full time, and unfortunately my workload is increasing. She is a great dog, and I hate giving her up, but she deserves a better home with someone that has more time for her. I unfortunately am not that person at this time. She is very trainable, highly food motivated, and high energy as she is still under a year old. She will be turning 1 in February. She is an absolute sweetheart. We have 3 cats, and she doesn't attack them, but they do not like her as she is high energy and wanting to play with them. We also have a 1 year old and 3 year old, and she is extremely gentle with them. Very good with kids, just sometimes gets a little too excited and may knock them over from time to time She hasn't had too much time being around other dogs. She is alright with cats, but our cats do not like her as they are older.

Hi I'm Peggy!  I'm a gorgeous lady on the lookout for the perfect family.  I'm a loving girl with my family and I'm always ready for belly rubs, booty scratches and hugs and kisses.  I love to go on walks, but if I smell something interesting I've been known to pull so I can go investigate.  Sorry not sorry haha!  In my foster home I enjoy curling up in front of the fire on my blankie and chewing on bones.  Bones are the best!  I also enjoy car rides.  My foster mama lets me tag along with her and I quietly chew on bones while she runs into the store for a minute.  I'm potty and kennel trained.  I like kids, but sometimes I get a little too excited and might knock down little ones.  I'm not very good with dogs so I'd prefer to be the only princess in my new home.  This applies to kitties and those squirrels outside too.  It's my yard and they need to know they aren't allowed!  When I came into rescue I had a belly full of babies.  I raised them and then it was my turn to go to the vet to make sure I was forever done being a mama.  I had a couple lumps that were removed at the time and they were found to be cancerous.  The doctor says they got good margins and I can now find my happily ever after and hope that I don’t develop anymore pesky lumps.   Please  note that some of our dogs are obtained from shelters, surrendered to our care, or released from breeders.  Each animal's bio is based on our experience of the animal within our care, an educated guess based on physical characteristics, temperament and information shared. Welcome Tucker to CCPAL Rescue Foster Program. Tucker is a 1-year-old Pitbull dog. He was found as a stray on the construction site and a wonderful good Samaritan found him and is fostering him until he finds his forever home. His hair is super soft and his is gushy sweet. He warms up slow to new people and is very bonded and loyal to his human. He has an adorable underbite. He would be willing to wear outfits and hats if it is what his human wanted. He is great on leash and doesn’t pull and he is good in a car. He doesn’t shed and is a very very clean boy. He likes to keep his feet clean and really manages to stay out of any messes other dogs would normally get into. He is good in his crate and he is potty trained. He currently lives with other dogs but he is jealous of attention. His best home would really be where he can be the only dog and get all the snuggles from his family. I think a quieter home over the family that has a loud bustling group of people in it. He would be perfect for the single woman or man who would like a companion animal to walk, jog hike or cuddle with. He doesn’t need lots of exercise for happiness. He is an inside dog and loves to be in the house next to his person. He can stay in his crate while you work. He can also be trusted outside his crate. Welcome Rusty to CCPAL foster program. Rusty is a 10 month old Pit Bull mixed dog. He is friendly with all people, even strangers. He lives with a female Staffordshire and a miniature Schnauzer and he does great with both. He is trained to use a doggy door. He is good in a crate and other dogs. He loves men the most and in my opinion, would make a wonderful companion for a man. He automatically likes their leadership and responds well to direction. He knows sit and does not potty in the house. He weighs about 60 pounds and while he does pull on leash, he likes to go on walks. His ears were cropped when we got them. They don’t look like a vet cropped but them, it looks more like a home crop job done incorrectly. He knows sit and will do it when asked. He is rambunctious as are many puppies and will do well with older children. He is not a big shedder and a very clean boy. He will stay in foster care waiting for his adoption. He will be neutered soon, heartworm negative and getting his vaccinations. He would be great for an active companion wanting an active dog to go along. He would be great for a jogger, walker or runner. Rehoming Our Dog We must find a new home for our sweet pup as our toddler’s rough play (tail grabbing, etc.) stresses him out. He’s great with other dogs (doggy daycare/parks references available!) but shy at first with people. He has good recall, basic obedience, and never jumps. However, he’s a high jumper who needs a tall fence. He also hates cold weather, sleeps in bed, and loves to cuddle. He’s never been crated and doesn’t chew, but will get into the trash if it’s not secured. He’d do best with older kids or an adult-only home.
