Hey Frens! Thanks for stopping on my profile to get to know me....bet it's my gorgeous white coat and perky ears that caught your attention...right...am I right? A little about me: My sister and I were abandoned by my first family next to a busy highway surviving the best we could. Sister Asta (also adoptable) was terribly traumatized so I cared and protected her the best I could. We are incredibly close and stick together. I love adventures and occasional scavenger hunts. So I'm hoping to find an active family to feed my athletic and energetic nature. My favorite thing is to hang out with my foster dad doing projects in the backyard. Meet Rio 'Member that scene from Lady and the Tramp where the dogs are sharing a single spaghetti? It's fake. I know this because no dog in their right tooting mind is going to share a pawsta string when there's an entire heckin meatball on the plate. Next thing you know we will find out that wasn't even pawsta, it was squash impersonating a pawsta :0 Either way, I'd have to have a stunt double for that scene because I do not enjoy sharing my food or treats. Foster Mom is practicing better table manners with me. Sharing is caring. She says. Which is ironical because she's never once so much as offered me even a nibble of her oreo cookies. I litterally look like an Oreo cookie which happens to be my Foster Moms favorite treat. Hint hint, send her a pallet for all the schooling she is doing for me. I LOVE TO TRAIN and Foster Mom says I'm a super fast learner. Indeed, I will do whatever a human wants for a food. I know my name, Rio, plus sit, come, down, come, "rest for cooperative care and a hand target. Speaking of Target, before you pick me up, be sure to stop off and get me lots of fetch toys. Get yourself something pretty too, like some chenille slippers, yeah, for yourself, I pawmise not to touch them. *crosses fingers behind his back* Foster Mom has been working with me on my dog-on-dog skills because I can be a real booger. I need a special kind of dog friend. Her own personal dog Jax is serving as my mentor. Here's what Jax has to say about me "Bruh, calm down. Dude, you need a home with a chill dog that is not easily annoyed. One that won't lash out but will still correct your obnoxiousness and inappropriate play. One that will tolerate your shenanigans. Okay, so you heard that raving review from my buddy ole pal compadre Jax. Note to self, find out what obnoxiousness, tolerate and inappropriate means, because honestly all I heard was chili dog and got hungry while visions of weenies danced in my head. :) Foster Mom did say, I would do best with a sturdy dog, my size or larger. I guess you need to know my size. I'm a ruff and tumble and mouthy player so your dog would have to be more of a rugby than hockey player. I have lots of fans on the internet and they also told me to be sure to mention my floppy ears, my freckled snooter and the fact that my feet most likely smell like frito pie which I'm fairly sure is a compliment. So if it helps to butter you up with compliments, I bet you smell like cheese because I think you're grate! Like most spunky young pups, I get the zoomies when excited. I love to play fetch and tug. I'm working on sharing my toys. I do need lots of approved chew toys such as pig ears. That reminds me, I am not good with cats. Cats are not approved toys. Cats are NOT approved toys. Worth repeating. I am crate trained, pretty much standard pawcedure. I did also try my heck hardest to get Foster Mom to give me driving lessons, so I could add that to my skill list, but she said "No Rio, dogs can't drive. I guess she's never seen a Subaru commercial. I like car rides but I don't enjoy being restrained so we are working on that too. I am loveable and active. Bath time and nail clip time are not a problem. Occasionally I impersonate a potato on the couch, but fun is more my taste. Foster Mom says if you are the type who enjoys entertaining antics and doesn't mind providing extra guidance, you'd be happy as my family. I would be good as an only son, but if you have current dogs that don't mind EXTRA level whippersnappers, that might work too. Foster Mom is a professional trainer and is willing to give you tips on how to make sure I stay on the path to good boy town. I'm excited to go to goodboyville with you as long as there are snacks and pit stops along the way. P.S. You're driving to good boy town, because 'member, Foster Mom wouldn't teach me how to drive. Welcome Tucker to CCPAL Rescue Foster Program. Tucker is a 1-year-old Pitbull dog. He was found as a stray on the construction site and a wonderful good Samaritan found him and is fostering him until he finds his forever home. His hair is super soft and his is gushy sweet. He warms up slow to new people and is very bonded and loyal to his human. He has an adorable underbite. He would be willing to wear outfits and hats if it is what his human wanted. He is great on leash and doesn’t pull and he is good in a car. He doesn’t shed and is a very very clean boy. He likes to keep his feet clean and really manages to stay out of any messes other dogs would normally get into. He is good in his crate and he is potty trained. He currently lives with other dogs but he is jealous of attention. His best home would really be where he can be the only dog and get all the snuggles from his family. I think a quieter home over the family that has a loud bustling group of people in it. He would be perfect for the single woman or man who would like a companion animal to walk, jog hike or cuddle with. He doesn’t need lots of exercise for happiness. He is an inside dog and loves to be in the house next to his person. He can stay in his crate while you work. He can also be trusted outside his crate. At 5 years old, Amelia is living her best life, exploring her world one sniff at a time, and honestly, she’s nailing it. Now, we have to warn you: Amelia’s superpower might just be stealing your heart, but she’s also a master at snuggling. She’s basically a built-in space heater when she sleeps, so if you’re looking to save on heating bills this winter, she’s got you covered. Oh, and did we mention she LOVES being the little spoon? Yeah, you read that right. Amelia lives for those tight, cozy snuggle sessions. When it comes to her fellow canine friends, Amelia is totally cool. She’s good with all dogs ranging from teeny-tiny 5-pound pups to 100-pound gentle giants. And guess what? She’s a champ with all of them! She hasn’t quite worked up the confidence to play directly with them yet, though. Can you blame her? She can’t see how they’re reacting, so she’s all about parallel play for now. Amelia is blind, but that doesn't slow her down one bit!  Amelia does have a bit of a prey drive towards kitties, but being blind, she can't catch them. It's probably because they never let her sniff them to become friends, but if you have a kitty, she may be quite interested for a bit. You’ll find her having a blast with her balls, soft toys, and chews right next to her friends. She’s all about teamwork… from a slight distance. Speaking of toys, Amelia LOVES her chews. They’re her jam, her thing, her absolute favorite. Need to keep her entertained? Toss her a chew, and she’s in her happy place. Now, we’ve got to talk about her explorer side. Amelia may be blind, but that doesn’t stop her from confidently checking out her surroundings. If there’s something new, she’s on it, like the fearless adventurer she is. Her foster mom has ADHD and is constantly moving things around like she’s rearranging a life-sized game of Tetris, but as long as Amelia’s bed, food, and water stay in the same place, she’s all good. She might be a little confused when her favorite chair’s been relocated, but no stress—it’s all part of the adventure. Barking Alert: Amelia may bark at new people at first. But here’s the thing—she’s just saying, “Hold up, let me sniff you real quick!” Once she gets that scent, the barking stops, and out come the kisses.  She’s basically a cuddle factory, but she’s got a quality control process (the sniff test) first.  She is potty trained, on a schedule at her foster home, leash trained, but has a distaste for the kennel thing - she prefers to stay out and waits for you to come home! Amelia’s just about perfect with dogs of all sizes, kids, and adults. But—and here’s the only catch—since she can’t see what’s going on, she might get startled and nip if something surprises her. It’s rare, but it’s happened, so she’d do best in a home without young kids to keep things chill and safe. Let’s not forget about Amelia’s nap game. When she’s had enough playtime (or parallel playtime), she’ll wander off and find the coziest spot available, probably your bed, and settle in for some well-deserved shut-eye. While she’s napping, prepare to be amazed by how warm she gets. Seriously, who needs blankets when you’ve got Amelia the Toasty Pittie? Oh, and if you’ve got a puppy pile going, don’t be surprised if Amelia joins right in! She’s all about the group nap life, snuggling right in the middle of her doggy pals. Meet Lucky! This incredibly handsome love bug was found super skinny and roaming the streets with burned paws. Some wonderful people took him in and got him to the vet to get treated. He’s now at our rescue and he’s the sweetest, least reactive dog ever. He did great meeting the front yard pack and had no reaction to being growled at. He's a little too much for small dogs and cats, but he'd love another medium/large dog to play with in his forever home. He’s a completely white pit bull with one mostly blue eye and one light brown eye. Lucky is about 1 year old and weighs 47 pounds, but he should put on 5-7 pounds. He’s so incredibly loving and sweet, he thinks everyone he meets is his best friend. He’s loving and smart—he already knows sit and is very respectful. Lucky really enjoys being with people. Leia is a cuddly girl who loves her love, energetic, playful, and walks great on a leash. She loves her toys and playing with her furry friends in the agility yard. She’s great with dogs, but currently untested with cats. Although, we can test her if needed. Leia is heartworm negative, spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and ready for her new home! This boy was surrendered due to the wife not wanting him around a newborn. Bob did nothing wrong and is a well behaved boy. He does need time to get used to new people but warms up pretty quickly. He gets along with other dogs and likes to play. He loves tennis balls and loves to chase them... he can fit 2 in his mouth at a time. He does well on a leash and is house broken. He does like children but will need time to adjust to their energy. He can get a little protective over what he considers "his" but is not a mean protector.... more bark than bite. Some added people socialization would probably help him. He is a good boy who was given a raw deal by his supposed family so he;s now looking for a new chance. He is located in Tennessee but can be transported through Rescue Riders.

Hi there, I'm Precious. They say that I am called this because I am the most precious dog here at God's Dogs Rescue. I came to the rescue in October of 2022 to have a safe place for me to have and raise my puppies. All my puppies were adopted by the end of January 2023, but I am still here looking for my furever home. I am a bigger girl, but this just means there is more of me to cuddle you, because I love cuddling it's one of my top 3 favorite things. 1) Food- I love food and will do almost anything you ask if you have a treat involved. 2) Cuddles- on your lap, on the couch, in the bed wherever there is a comfy space with pillows or a human I want to be there. 3) Kisses- I have a love of giving kisses to people, especially kids. Although not everyone likes it when I try to kiss them and that makes me sad. 4) Honorable mention- I like going on walks or in the car for a ride, although I prefer just lazing around at home. My current fosters say that I am a "house hippo with springs in my feet whatever that means; I just know sometimes, when I get super happy, I feel like I could fly- or jump really high. I love their kids and am very good with them even the tiny ones. I get along with most other dogs I meet, although I have a big personality about me, because I'm a boss, so sometimes other dogs don't like that about me. I tolerate cats although if they give me too much attitude or growl at me, I can't help but to give them piece of my mind. I like most new people I meet although I had a rough start in life so sometimes, I can be a little wary with men, with time though I adjust, and we can become best friends forever.
