Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Halo, a pup with a heart full of love and a playful spirit! This sweet boy is crate trained, rides well in the car and enjoys playing with other dogs. Halo is a typical goofy puppy, who loves to cuddle, often falling asleep in the silliest positions. Although he can be a bit shy at first, he warms up and shows his playful side. Small children do make him nervous, so a home with no littles would be best. Halo would thrive in a quiet home, especially with another playful dog to keep him company. Born in rescue with his brother Cosmo, he may look like a Labrador Retriever, but his Cocker Spaniel roots shine through in his personality. Check out the image of his DNA test if you don't believe it! If you’re looking for a loving, goofy companion, Halo might just be the perfect fit for you!   Halo is from Texas.  If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Buster! This sweet boy came to us severely underweight, but despite his tough start, he’s been nothing but a loving companion. In the beginning, Buster was mellow and quiet, focusing on gaining strength with four small meals a day. Now, after a few weeks of recovery, his energy is returning, and he’s starting to enjoy playtime, exploring, and sniffing around. Buster has shown remarkable courage. He actively seeks attention and has been brave when meeting new people and dogs. His playful side is starting to shine through. He adores Nylabones, wiggles with excitement, and his ears are the cutest! He’s fantastic with kiddos and would thrive in a home with another furry friend. In his kennel, he’s quite the calm pup, and he’s making great progress with potty training. He’s eager to learn some basic obedience commands, and once he gets to know you, he’s a true Velcro dog—always by your side! He just needs a little time to warm up when meeting new people to ensure they’re kind. With some patience and love, he’ll make a wonderful addition to any family! Buster is becoming stronger each day, and with his loving personality, he’s ready to find his forever home where he can continue to grow and thrive. Could you be the one to give him the love and care he deserves? Buster is from a local impound. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Tobias Turnpike (aka Toby Toebeans) is as sweet as he's beefy. He's the perfect mix of cuddly, playful, and social. We believe he would make an excellent addition to any home that doesn't have a cat (since he has an intense allergy to them). True to his gentle nature, Toby lays down to get his nails trimmed, tolerates baths as long as treats are involved, and keeps his cool at the vet, even when he's being poked. While he's not a barker, he's still a great communicator. He will let you know when he needs to go potty or when he's hungry. He will grumble or come over to you and put his big paws on your lap and stare at you. When he's relaxed and enjoying snuggles, he grins, and if he wants more pets, he taps you with his paw. If you sit with Toby, he will sit beside you, rest his head on your chest, and snooze. Once he gets relaxed, he melts down to a puddle next to you. Tobias is a total cuddle bug. His favorite pastime is snuggling with his humans. We rate his cuddles A+!!  Check out this  video  of Tobias walking nicely on leash.     Tobias Turnpike is from a local shelter. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hello, my name is Kida. I am just the sweetest puppy you will ever meet! I love belly rubs, playing with toys, and going on walks. Sleeping on my foster mom’s lap is the best! Especially if there is a soft blanket for me to lay under. I am very loyal and I really enjoy being near my people. I do like to chase squirrels so a home with no small critters would be best. My current foster home has 2 big dogs and I like running around and playing with them. I can be bossy when playing so an easy going companion who can politely tell me “no” would be best. I would do great as a solo dog as well since I love attention and would enjoy having the couch all to myself. I would do best in a home with older kids (12+) since younger kids make me nervous. I am very smart but still pretty young so I would love a patient family that has time to teach me new things.   Kida is from a local shelter. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. I am loving being in my foster home and having friends to play with.  I can be shy at first but give me a few treats I warm up. I love hanging out under my foster mom’s desk as she works from home. I am also good in my kennel but I like to trick my foster mom that I will not go in but I always go in. I sleep in my kennel all night. I am potty trained. I would love a fenced yard since I love to run around and see what’s all outside. A friend that likes to run around and play chase would be amazing. I think I would be better with a friend. I don’t think cats would be good with me. I love to chill with my foster fur brothers and nap with them. If you would like to know more please fill out an application for me. Hello! My name is Cyrus. I am a handsome boy with a HUGE heart. My ideal home is a place where I am the only pet for a multitude of redone but primarily so I get all the affection. I am a dog that loves my humans, and loves to have a routine. Everyone is constantly telling me how smart I am. I love going for car rides, playing ball, and lounging having some snuggle time. I am an avid movie buff and love a nice night in watching Netflix with a cozy blanket. Cozy blankets are a must have. I can be the biggest love bug you will ever meet, so despite the fact I don't care for other animal companions I think I am a pretty good catch. Did I mention I am super handsome? Well, at least that's what all these people keep saying. I tend to agree. Now that I'm older I have that distinguished gentleman thing going for me. If you think you might be the one I have been waiting for, fill out an adoption application. You will not regret it! I promise to win you over in no time. Story
Hi! My name is Beatrice. I am a tiny little character. I really really love when my humans are home with me as much as possible. Being alone is no fun. I get lonely. If you do leave me alone I need a strong crate that I can't break out of, but the rescue is happy to give my new home the one I use now. I have lots of energy and I love to go for walks and just enjoying the sunshine. I do well on a leash. I sometimes like to spend my afternoons catching some rays. The humans say I often look like I am contemplating life. I am really just dreaming of my new home. I get along with most dogs but I tend to play rough so it's really just best I be an only dog. Which reminds me, absolutely no cats either. I have an intense prey drive. Yea I know I have some issues, who doesn't? On the plus side I am actually really sweet. I love to just be with you and I will even give you kisses when you are sad. Story
Meet Ms. Nona! Pretty name for a pretty girl. Nona is crate trained, even if she decides to mildly protest going in. It's really only because she truly just wants to be with her people. Nona would make a great hiking or walking partner to burn off her energy. A fenced in yard is ideal for her. She would just love it! Nona loves to play outside and with toys... but plan on getting tough toys if you expect them to last long! She loves attention and snuggles, and to just be with her people. She makes a great Netflix marathon companion. Nona has mixed feelings about other animals and honestly needs to be the only pet. Since she hasn't been around children much, her fosters feel that she would be best with older considerate children. Overall, Nona loves and needs structure in her life. She needs a strong leader so she doesn't have to feel like the pressure is on her and she can sit back and relax. She is smart, inquisitive and enjoys learning. Overall, she is an amazing dog that is on the search for her right Fur-Ever Home... could that be you? Story
Well hello there! I'm Beefcake, my friends calls me Beefy! I'm a hunky boy who really would has to be an only pet. I'm a shorty, just 52 pounds of adorable! I am a good boy and a quick learner. I thrive with a strong leader who makes me mind my new manners I have learned. I have come a long way in rescue and I am excited to start my new life and show you how awesome I am! I really love to have my humans around. When people are gone for really long work days it makes me sad, but I do love Dog TV to keep me entertained. My favorite thing to do is snuggle up with my humans, the closer, the better! Looking for a movie watching buddy? That's me! Breakfast and dinner are my favorite times of the day and I will sit to wait for my food and then I'll make sure my bowl is clean for next time. I've been known to eat my toys so my humans watch me while I enjoy them. I'm a big boy with lots of love to give and I'm hopeful I can find my fur-ever soon! *My adoption does come with a training package to set me up for success so my adopters have to be committed to learning how to work with me as a team* https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FEHR/Dog Adoption Fee $250 Help sponsor my vet care- PayPal.me/fureverhomerescue

Story
Hi! My name is Lola. I am a super sweet, and smart girl who loves to love. I am a happy pup who didn't have a great life before I got to rescue which ultimately could have been the end for me, but I had angels looking out for me and well, here I am. When I was impounded it was loud and so scary. I was so stressed and honestly terrified. So stressed I started to loose weight, and was not my best self. One day, a nice lady came and said she was there to rescue me. I was unsure at first but she started giving me treats and when we went outside, I realized not only was she super nice, but she was getting me out of there. Even out of the shelter I continued to rapidly loose weight even though my foster dad was happy to feed me as much as I wanted. We went to the doctor and I heard them say I have EPI. I am not really sure all the technical stuff but basically I got so stressed in the shelter I likely developed this condition and I have to take meds and supplements for it. The stuff I have to take is not a big deal for me at all. In fact, I am very used to it, but anyone wanting to adopt me should know about it. I know not everyone is willing to adopt a dog that has stuff like me, but it's not my fault and I just know that after all I have been through there is someone special out there that is just waiting to love me. *FEHR does recommend any potential adopter have a discussion with their veterinarian about EPI prior to adoption so that you can be well informed on the condition from a professional* Estimated Birthday: 6/8/2022 Breed: Pit Bull Mix Weight: 47lbs Good with Dogs: Yes Good with Cats: unknown Good with Kids: Older kids preferred due to energy level Adoption Fee: $150 Apply to adopt online- https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FEHR/Dog Sponsor me- PayPal.me/fureverhomerescue **Breed not guaranteed**

Hi! My name is Petunia. I've been with Fur-Ever Home Rescue since I was a young lady. You see, I like to protect the things that I find interesting so I have to be very managed. I'm a super sweetheart, but it's best for me to live at the sanctuary. I have my own dog cabin with my very own porch and fenced in yard. I also get to watch my favorite TV shows, and we have awesome grounds for nice long walks on a beautiful day. That doesn't mean my care doesn't come at a cost. Rescue is my family, but they could use some help with taking care of me so if you have it in your heart to sponsor me, I would really be grateful.
