Welcome Tucker to CCPAL Rescue Foster Program. Tucker is a 1-year-old Pitbull dog. He was found as a stray on the construction site and a wonderful good Samaritan found him and is fostering him until he finds his forever home. His hair is super soft and his is gushy sweet. He warms up slow to new people and is very bonded and loyal to his human. He has an adorable underbite. He would be willing to wear outfits and hats if it is what his human wanted. He is great on leash and doesn’t pull and he is good in a car. He doesn’t shed and is a very very clean boy. He likes to keep his feet clean and really manages to stay out of any messes other dogs would normally get into. He is good in his crate and he is potty trained. He currently lives with other dogs but he is jealous of attention. His best home would really be where he can be the only dog and get all the snuggles from his family. I think a quieter home over the family that has a loud bustling group of people in it. He would be perfect for the single woman or man who would like a companion animal to walk, jog hike or cuddle with. He doesn’t need lots of exercise for happiness. Welcome Rusty to CCPAL foster program. Rusty is a 10 month old Pit Bull mixed dog. He is friendly with all people, even strangers. He lives with a female Staffordshire and a miniature Schnauzer and he does great with both. He is trained to use a doggy door. He is good in a crate and other dogs. He loves men the most and in my opinion, would make a wonderful companion for a man. He automatically likes their leadership and responds well to direction. He knows sit and does not potty in the house. He weighs about 60 pounds and while he does pull on leash, he likes to go on walks. His ears were cropped when we got them. They don’t look like a vet cropped but them, it looks more like a home crop job done incorrectly. He knows sit and will do it when asked. He is rambunctious as are many puppies and will do well with older children. He is not a big shedder and a very clean boy. He will stay in foster care waiting for his adoption. Welcome Honey to CCPAL foster program. Honey is a 3-year-old Staffie/Lab mixed dog. Her owner had some very terrible circumstances and had to give her and the boy dog he had up. A good Samaritan stepped in to help Honey and Hank. Honey is good with other dogs, good on a leash, good in a car but she wants to chase cats. She is potty trained and is very sweet. She would make a good walking partner for someone needing someone to tag along on walks to or around the park. She has a short coat and not a huge shedding dog. She is nice with strangers and was not skittish when we all met her for the first time. She did not jump up which is nice and overall, not too rambunctious. She is vaccinated, healthy, spayed, and ready to be someone’s forever pet. She would be great for a retired couple, retired single or anyone wanting an already trained companion animal. Welcome Sarge to CCPAL Rescue Foster program. He is a 3-year old Staffordshire Terrier/Lab mix is our best guess. He is a great dog. He is good with other dogs. He currently lives with a dog bigger than himself. He isn’t good with cats but good with all people. He bonds deeply and really likes women. His current owner has had a loss in her family that is requiring she move in with her daughter. She cannot take Sarge with her. She is looking for a new forever home for him. He would be great with an active family wanting a companion that is athletic and can walk, run or hike with you. He is friendly to strangers but he does jump up. He can be active outside and then turn into a couch potato in the house. He is neutered, vaccinated, house trained and likes car rides. I'm a super sweet and lovable puppy (about 6 months to a year old) weighing in at 32 pounds. My foster family thinks I'm a bit of a gem, and I think you’ll agree once you meet me! Though I can be shy and a little nervous at first, I’m quickly warming up to the world. I've been learning that the world isn’t so scary, and I’m starting to trust people and new experiences more every day! I absolutely LOVE playing with my toys, wrestling with my foster dog siblings, and trying to get the resident cat to play (though I’m very respectful, don’t worry!). When I’m not playing, I love snuggling on the couch, napping in the sunshine, or just hanging out with my favorite humans. I’m also super food motivated, so training has been a breeze! I’ve already learned commands like sit, come, and go potty, and I’m getting pretty good at letting my humans know when I need to go outside (I stand by the door like a pro!). I’ve come a long way with my potty training—I’m close to being fully house trained as long as I’m on a good schedule. I’m also crate trained and sleep quietly in my crate at night. Though I sometimes whine if I need to go outside during the night, I’m generally a pretty chill pup who hardly barks at all. I’m fantastic with kids, other dogs, and even cats! I’m great with all dog-friendly dogs, and I’d thrive in a home with another dog to help me build confidence. I’ve also learned to enjoy walks, though I’m still a bit cautious when outside, but with time, I know I’ll get braver!   I’d do best in a home with a loving family who can help me build my confidence and keep up with my training. A fenced yard isn't a must, as I walk beautifully on a leash, but I would love a home where I can continue to get regular exercise and playtime. Bruce is a beautiful boy! Look at that smile! He is housetrained, crate trained, and loves people. He loves his toys and wants to play. He wants to be with someone 24/7. This girl was found in the middle of a road after being dumped. She is very friendly and does well with other dogs. She is in a foster home and is learning cat manners and to be house trained. She does well on car rides and has a sweet personality. She is a wonderful pup and is ready for a forever home. She is located in Tennessee but can be transported to you through Rescue Riders.

Amor strutted into MACC just after Christmas, and while he`s been patiently waiting, he`s pretty sure his future family is out there somewhere! With his ombre-spotted ears and derpy grin, this 4-year-old heartthrob is ready to woo his way into your home—and your lap (even if he’s 63 lbs. of thicc love).True to his name, Amor is all about the amour. I’m a sweet girl who loves nothing more than lounging at home and playing fetch or keep-away with my favorite balls. I may be a bit older, but I’m still full of energy and love to stay active!  In fact, I've been working with a trainer and its's recommended a daily walk (outside Or on the treadmill!) for mental stimulation. I’m totally potty trained and do well with crate time, though sometimes I’ll bark if I don’t get my way. I also need daily eye drops, but I’m good about taking them. I prefer a quieter, adult-only home since busy places and small kids make me nervous. I do best as an only dog so I can get all your attention. We can Netflix and chill on the couch and I promise to be your bestest friend and loyal companion. Foster mom says I’ll keep you laughing all day long with my bulldog antics and hey, we can check out the world.  I am leash trained and like to go for short walks. At 45 lbs, this charming fella is an expert lounger and 85% couch potato, but don’t let that fool you—he’s also got a playful side and loves a good walk or car ride. Carbon’s expressive face and slightly tongue-out look are guaranteed to bring a smile to your face, and his hilarious personality is sure to keep you entertained. Carbon is a big fan of food (who isn’t?), especially carrots, apples, and peanut butter—he’s learned quickly to appreciate tasty treats like stuffed Kongs and Himalayan yak cheese chews. He’s also very smart and eager to learn; he’s made great strides with his manners, now sitting politely for treats and meals. While he’s still working on his potty training cues, Carbon is a champ at going outside, and he happily goes into his crate when you leave the house (with a little food bribe, of course). This sweet, snuggly guy is good with kids and other dogs of all sizes, but he’d be just as content as the only pup in your home. He’s a gentle giant when it comes to playtime, especially now that he’s learned to be more gentle with his mouthiness. While he barks when he’s alarmed or excited, he’s generally a quiet and laid-back companion. He does enjoy “his spot” on the couch and isn’t shy about making it clear that it’s his place to be, even if that means sitting right on top of you! Carbon is the perfect balance of lovable, goofy, and laid-back, and his affectionate nature is sure to brighten any home. I’m about 6 months to a year old and full of life, always ready for adventure. I came to Underdog when my previous family could no longer care for me, but now I’m loving my new foster home and learning all about my new routine. I’m a big fan of snuggling on the couch, but don’t let that fool you—I’ve got loads of energy to burn! I love my daily walks, and I’d thrive in a home where I can get regular exercise, like a trip to the dog park or some playtime in the yard. If I don’t get enough activity, I might get a little mischievous, so keeping me active is key to making sure I’m a happy girl! I also love chewing on bully sticks, playing with my Kongs filled with treats, and solving dog puzzle toys. I’m really well-behaved when it comes to leash walking, and I sleep well in my crate (although I do love my couch snuggles when I can get them). I’m getting close to being fully potty trained when I’m on a good schedule, but I’ll need a little more time and patience to perfect it. I also have a strong prey drive, so I’m not a fan of cats (sorry, feline friends!). However, I’m great with other dogs of all sizes and would love to have doggy friends to play with. I’ve been through a lot, but I’ve healed up completely from pneumonia and am doing great in my foster home. I absolutely love kids and enjoy going on walks and playing with my foster siblings. I greet other dogs respectfully and am always up for a fun game of tug or fetch. I walk well on the leash, so as long as I get plenty of exercise, I don't need a fenced yard.  I promise to be your loyal and loving companion!
