You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Thank you for stopping by to see me!  Please fill out an application to set up  a private meeting.  Guess what? I am going to be at Tractor Supply in Dundas (600 Schilling Dr Dundas, MN 55019) for the Underdog Rescue & Dispatch Dogs Adoption Event! Come and meet me on Saturday November 16th from 11:00 am-1:00 pm.   DOB:  06/01/2018 Requires another dog in home: No- best as an only dog   Okay with dogs of all sizes: No Okay with cats: No Okay with children under 12 years old: Yes Weight: 65 pounds Requires a fenced yard:     No Note: dogs must always be leashed whenever outside of a contained area. Invisible/ underground fencing is not recommended for most rescue dogs. Hi I'm Peggy!  I'm a gorgeous lady on the lookout for the perfect family.  I'm a loving girl with my family and I'm always ready for belly rubs, booty scratches and hugs and kisses.  I love to go on walks, but if I smell something interesting I've been known to pull so I can go investigate.  Sorry not sorry haha!  In my foster home I enjoy curling up in front of the fire on my blankie and chewing on bones.  Bones are the best!  I also enjoy car rides.  My foster mama lets me tag along with her and I quietly chew on bones while she runs into the store for a minute.  I'm potty and kennel trained.  I like kids, but sometimes I get a little too excited and might knock down little ones.  I'm not very good with dogs so I'd prefer to be the only princess in my new home.  This applies to kitties and those squirrels outside too.  It's my yard and they need to know they aren't allowed!  When I came into rescue I had a belly full of babies.  I raised them and then it was my turn to go to the vet to make sure I was forever done being a mama.  I had a couple lumps that were removed at the time and they were found to be cancerous.  The doctor says they got good margins and I can now find my happily ever after and hope that I don’t develop anymore pesky lumps.   Please  note that some of our dogs are obtained from shelters, surrendered to our care, or released from breeders.  Each animal's bio is based on our experience of the animal within our care, an educated guess based on physical characteristics, temperament and information shared. Some of the animals come from situations where they are lacking experience in a home and confidence in humans. In turn, they require another companion dog and/or a fenced in yard in their forever home in order for them to feel safe. If you are interested in a particular dog whose bio states those needs and do not currently have them, please understand that your home might not be the right fit.  Please use the filter on our Adoptable Dogs page to find the perfect match for your home.     ***Be sure to check your spam/junk folder as sometimes our emails end up there***Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.If you have other questions about me you can email Underdog Rescue at <inquiries@underdogrescuemn.com> ADOPTION EVENTS:      Adoption events are updated at the top of each dogs animals' as their foster home signs up. Check back for updates on which events they will be attending. If an event is not listed within their bio above, the animal is not planning to attend.  Please understand that all of our pets are in volunteer foster homes and sometimes "life" happens and the foster family cannot make it to their scheduled adoption event. If you are traveling from a far distance to meet a specific animal, please understand we cannot guarantee event attendance. We recommend filling out an application and we will set up a private appointment. Private appointments are only scheduled after an application is submitted and approved. ADOPTION PROCEDURE: The first step in our process is to complete an online adoption application on our website: http://www.underdogrescuemn.com/adoptionprocess/   Note: In most circumstances Underdog Rescue will only adopt within 60 miles of Minneapolis, MN.  All of our foster animals can be seen by appointment with an approved adoption application. Contact us at http://www.underdogrescuemn.com/contact-us/ if you have further questions. FOSTER CARE: All of our animals are fostered in individual homes or doggie daycare facilities. While they are in our care, they are part of our families and given lots of love. We work on training, crate-training and socialization prior to adoption, but each bio is written by the foster as they see them, in their home. Each animal's behavior is evaluated and we have a sense of its temperament and personality, but it cannot be guaranteed. We look for adopters who will give each animal the wonderful life and permanent home that he or she deserves in time and with patience.  If you have an interest and ability to be a foster home, please visit our website  www.underdogrescuemn.com/foster-applications  and fill out a foster application. NUTRITION: Nutrition is vital to the rehabilitation and life-long health of our pets.  All of our foster animals are fed a premium diet such as NutriSource, Canidae, Orijen, Nature's Variety, Fromm, Pure Vita, Stella and Chewy's, Primal, or balanced raw diet.  All adopters are required to continue providing premium diets for the life of the animal. Story
Welcome Tucker to CCPAL Rescue Foster Program. Tucker is a 1-year-old Pitbull dog. He was found as a stray on the construction site and a wonderful good Samaritan found him and is fostering him until he finds his forever home. His hair is super soft and his is gushy sweet. He warms up slow to new people and is very bonded and loyal to his human. He has an adorable underbite. He would be willing to wear outfits and hats if it is what his human wanted. He is great on leash and doesn’t pull and he is good in a car. He doesn’t shed and is a very very clean boy. He likes to keep his feet clean and really manages to stay out of any messes other dogs would normally get into. He is good in his crate and he is potty trained. He currently lives with other dogs but he is jealous of attention. His best home would really be where he can be the only dog and get all the snuggles from his family. I think a quieter home over the family that has a loud bustling group of people in it. He would be perfect for the single woman or man who would like a companion animal to walk, jog hike or cuddle with. He doesn’t need lots of exercise for happiness. He is an inside dog and loves to be in the house next to his person. He can stay in his crate while you work. He can also be trusted outside his crate. He is healthy, vaccinated, neutered and ready for his forever home. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally. We can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Online applications at www.ccpal.info/ See his cute video!!

Story
Brenda is a wonderful 7-month-old American Pitbull Terrier/Blue Nose Pit Mix who deserves a loving home. I adopted her when she was just 6 weeks old. Unfortunately, my male boxer is unable to get along with her, though it's important to note that Brenda is not the aggressive one; it’s the other dog. She is incredibly friendly with people and other dogs, including a third female dog in our home. Brenda was recently spayed, and her vaccinations are entirely up to date. She's fully house-trained and has never had an accident. Brenda is a snuggler who thrives on attention and companionship. However, she is full of energy and requires daily walks and playtime to keep her happy and healthy. Regrettably, I cannot provide her with the time and attention she truly deserves due to the dynamics in my household. It breaks my heart to consider rehoming her, but she needs a family or individual who can devote more time and love to her. I promise that her affection will come back to you tenfold! P

Story
This boy was surrendered due to the wife not wanting him around a newborn. Bob did nothing wrong and is a well behaved boy. He does need time to get used to new people but warms up pretty quickly. He gets along with other dogs and likes to play. He loves tennis balls and loves to chase them... he can fit 2 in his mouth at a time. He does well on a leash and is house broken. He does like children but will need time to adjust to their energy. He can get a little protective over what he considers "his" but is not a mean protector.... more bark than bite. Some added people socialization would probably help him. He is a good boy who was given a raw deal by his supposed family so he;s now looking for a new chance. He is located in Tennessee but can be transported through Rescue Riders.

Story
Can you say photogenic or what?! Just look at that face - and those ears! This sweet guy is a selfie pro, always ready for the camera, especially if there’s a treat involved. When he`s not hamming it up for photos, Benji’s other passions include a good game of fetch, plush toys, and topping both of those… his absolute favorite thing in the world: treats! Benji is a rockstar at keeping his kennel clean, and he’s quite the social butterfly! At the shelter, we’ve observed that he has an enthusiastic, confident, and spirited playstyle with other dogs - he’s often found following the fun around the play run! If he gets a bit too jumpy, he responds well to redirection, especially when treats are part of the deal (obviously!). On walks, Benji sometimes gets a little too excited about the leash at first, but a bit of patience and a tasty treat usually do the trick, and he’s off and strolling! He’s still perfecting his “no-pulling” skills, but hey, no one`s perfect, right? Benji would thrive in a home with consistent expectations, a structured routine, and maybe a dog buddy to share the fun (though he’d also be happy as the solo superstar!). With his energy and love for treats, agility training could totally be in his future. All this little guy needs are plush toys to play with, humans to follow and adore, continued training, and, of course, a steady treat supply - then there’s nothing he can’t achieve!Come meet Benji during Walk-in Adoption Hours!Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 1:00 – 5:00 PMThursday 1:00 – 7:00 PMSaturday 11:00 – 3:00 PM

Story
Meet Hennessy - known to her friends as Henny - the sweetest pup around, ready to shower her humans with love, kisses, and boundless puppy energy! Henny is a true people-person (or, should we say, people-dog). While she does get along with other dogs, her heart belongs to humans. In playgroups, Henny is often spotted following the volunteers and staff, wagging her tail with that “look at me” charm. When she`s not playing tag with the humans, she’s known for her energetic `hoppy` play style, but she’s also just as happy simply watching the fun unfold from afar. We think she’d likely enjoy a dog sibling but would also be thrilled to be the center of attention in a one-and-only pet home. Now, don’t let her laid-back moments fool you - Henny is bursting with puppy energy! She would love a home with some structure, where she can channel her zest into daily walks, games of fetch, and plenty of toy time. Speaking of walks, on walks with volunteers she’s been a social butterfly, always excited to greet new people with her signature full-body wiggle. She may tug on the leash now and then, and she’s got a keen eye for squirrels, so a no-cat household is best. But Henny listens well and redirects easily, so she’s sure to charm you with her trainability. Henny is also a road trip enthusiast - car rides are her jam! Smart, food-motivated, and eager to learn, Henny has already perfected “sit” and can’t wait to pick up more tricks with her forever humans. If you haven’t fallen head-over-heels for Henny yet (we’re all smitten!), stop by MACC’s Walk-in Adoption Hours to meet her in person. We’re pretty sure it’ll be love at first sight with this playful, lovable sweetheart. M, Tue, Wed, Fri 1:00 – 5:00 PMThu 1:00 – 7:00 PMSat 11:00 – 3:00 PM

Some basic information about me; I am a cool gal, American Pitbull mix, female, and large-sized (60-99lbs) with Golden-Cream coloring. Story
Meet Chance, a survivor with a heart full of love. His story is sadly familiar; he was abandoned in a field to fend for himself. Thankfully, a kind-hearted lady living nearby stepped in to help. She gave Chance the chance he needed to show just how much love and devotion he had to offer. In his foster home, Chance has proved to be quite the gentleman. He's house-trained and knows how to sit on command. But most importantly, he's a playful guy who thrives in the company of people. His foster mom does say he can be a bit pesky at times, but who can resist that playful spirit? Chance has a list of favorites that will make you smile. He adores playing tug-o-war and FETCH, and he's excellent at taking treats gently. He's an active pup, so he's looking for a family that enjoys adventures and keeping active. If you're ready to open your heart and home to a dog who's been through a lot and is ready to give his all, then Chance is the one. Don't miss the opportunity to make wonderful memories with this loving and loyal companion. Fill out your application today and give Chance the second chance he deserves! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Thank you for stopping by to see me!  Please fill out an application to set up  a private meeting.  Hi, I’m Bell, a 7-year-old, 50-pound English Bulldog with a big heart and an even bigger personality! I’m a sweet girl who loves nothing more than lounging at home and playing fetch or keep-away with my favorite balls. I may be a bit older, but I’m still full of energy and love to stay active! I’m potty trained and do well with crate time, though sometimes I’ll bark if I don’t get my way. I also need daily eye drops, but I’m good about taking them. I prefer a quieter, adult-only home since busy places and small kids make me nervous. I do best with smaller dogs and would thrive as a solo dog or with a calm companion. I’ve got a bit of a bossy side and can guard my water, so having someone with experience around dogs would be ideal! At home, I’m super affectionate with the adults I trust, and I love snuggling on the couch—yep, I’m a big lap dog! I’m happy going on leash walks for potty breaks and exercise, so I don’t need a fenced yard. While I may be a bit picky about meeting new people in busy settings, once I warm up, I’m a loyal, loving companion. If you’re looking for a special, low-maintenance Bulldog who just wants to be your best friend and play fetch, I’m your girl! *Please note that some of our dogs are obtained from shelters, surrendered to our care, or released from breeders. Each animal's bio is based on our experience of the animal within our care, an educated guess based on physical characteristics, temperament and information shared. Each dog receives basic grooming when coming into rescue, but for some dogs they have not received grooming attention until recently and grooming may be required shortly after adoption. This will be at the adopter’s expense, so we encourage you to research the breed and be prepared for grooming expenses. Underdog cannot guarantee hypoallergenic or non-shedding qualities of any dogs in our rescue. Some of the animals come from situations where they are lacking experience in a home and confidence in humans. In turn, they require another companion dog and/or a fenced in yard in their forever home in order for them to feel safe.
