Hooch is a one-of-a-kind pup with a heart of gold. Don't be fooled by his initial "excited pitty wiggles" - this gentle giant instantly calms down and showers you with affection. Kids? Those are his JAM! He LOVES kids! He checks in on them and watches over them in the correct way. He absolutely loves other dogs. Hooch craves the ability to show his humans love and affection He loves his toys, car rides, and even joins in on your stretching routines (with a hilarious head tilt first). Hooch is already potty-trained, knows basic commands, and practices good manners (waiting for his food and walks). He's eager to please and mastering leash walking and recall.

Meet Jack, the Purrfect Playmate! Hey there! I'm Jack, a 2-year-old, neutered, and fully vaccinated good boy, ready to steal your heart. I'm a social butterfly who loves playing with other dogs and cuddling up with my human family. I'm a quick learner, already mastering the art of sitting and crate training. I'm a gentle giant who's great with kids and other dogs. I've even met a few cats and politely ignored them. I'm a sunshine lover, happiest when I'm lounging on the porch or frolicking in the grass. While I'm still working on my leash walking skills, I'm eager to learn and can't wait to explore the world by your side. Are you ready to add a furry friend to your family? I'm ready to be yours! Alton's adoption fee is $400. plus MN tax which covers his neuter, vaccines, microchip and any additional medical care he may have needed while in the rescue's care. We are a foster based rescue, we do not house dogs at a facility. Age and breed are NLR's best guess as we often don't know who or what mom and dad are. He's also well-behaved and crate-trained, making him a great addition to any household. While Rooster may be cautious with some new people at first, he quickly warms up and makes friends forever. Story
Hi, I'm a sweet and loving girl who can't wait to find my forever family! I'll be ready to go home after 12/22. Here's a little about me: I came from a reservation with my mom and brother. We didn't have a family to care for us, so we had to survive on our own. Thankfully, Northern Lakes Rescue took us in because they knew we deserved a chance at a better life. My foster mom calls me Lizzie (because she can never remember how to pronounce Alize!), and I'm approximately 12-13 weeks old. I'm still learning all the important things, like potty training and walking on a leash. I don't quite understand what a leash is yet, but I'm excited to figure it out with some practice! I do know that I love naps in my kennel-it's my cozy, safe spot. But when I'm awake, I'm all about playtime! Toys and bones are my absolute favorite, and I can't get enough of them. If you're looking for a playful, snuggly companion who's eager to learn and grow with you, I might just be the perfect match. I can't wait to meet my forever family and share all my love and puppy energy! Alize's adoption fee is $425 plus MN tax which covers her spay, vaccinations appropriate at the time of adoption, microchip and any additional medical care she may have needed while in the rescue's care. We are a foster based rescue, we do not house dogs at a facility. Age and breed are NLR's best guess as we often don't know who or what mom and dad are. I want a place to call home and a best friend to be with me for the rest of my life. I'm only 1.5 years old and have many more years left to see the world and dedicate all of myself to you. Story
Murphy is a fun little dude that enjoys his time loafing on the couch with his people. He loves his chew toys and is very food motivated. He has lived in a home with other dogs and a cat but is fairly aloof, rarely engaging in play with the dogs and ignoring the cat's existence. Murphy Wallace went to a board and train program to learn manners and become a distinguished gentleman like his name would imply. In addition to the basics like sit, down and come, he also learned impulse control through "leave it" and "place". At heart though Murphy is still very much so a stubborn bulldog that will question your authority from time to time. Murphy would best fit a home that can maintain his training (he has a great take home packet from the trainer) and requires a calmer home without children. Murphy has been housetrained and kennels well for food. Do you have a couch this dude can be the king of? (disclaimer: couch may get slobbered on) Murphy's adoption fee is $400 plus MN tax which covers his neuter, vaccinations, microchip and any additional medical care he may have needed while in the rescue's care. We are a foster based rescue, we do not house dogs at a facility. Age and breed are NLR's best guess as we often don't know who or what mom and dad are.
