Meet Murphy and Vixen: A Perfect Pair Looking for Their Forever Home! Murphy and his sister, Vixen, are a bonded duo who have been inseparable since they were six weeks old. Murphy, a gentle giant, will celebrate his fifth birthday on February 9. He’s a big, muscular dog with a heart just as big, and his sweet, loving nature makes him the ultimate companion. Murphy adores being around people—he’s the kind of dog who thinks he’s a lap dog despite his size! He’s highly food-motivated, which makes him a joy to train, and he has no aggressive tendencies. Walks are one of his favorite activities, and he’s always up for an adventure. Best of all, Murphy is in excellent health and ready to bring joy to a family who will love and care for him and Vixen together. These two are a package deal—they’ve been each other’s rock since day one and deserve a loving home where they can stay side by side. If you’re ready to welcome this incredible duo into your life, they’ll reward you with endless 💕

Story
Hello, World- Meet Jazzy!Jazzy is a fun, vibrant, and energetic 1.5-year-old pitbull mix who is ready to bring joy, love, and plenty of excitement to your life! She’s an affectionate and people-loving girl who thrives in a social environment and is always up for an adventure. Whether it`s playing fetch, running around in a yard, or just spending time with her favorite humans, Jazzy is always full of enthusiasm and fun. This sweet girl also loves the company of other dogs and enjoys playing with them in an active, friendly manner. However, due to her high energy, Jazzy would do best in a home without cats or small children, as she might unintentionally overwhelm them with her exuberance.Jazzy is still working on some basic manners and would benefit from obedience training to help her become the best companion she can be. Her ideal home would include a large, fenced-in yard where she can run, explore, and play to her heart`s content. If you’re looking for a dog who will keep you on your toes, bring endless joy, and is eager to learn and grow with you, Jazzy could be the perfect fit. With the right training, love, and attention, Jazzy will make an amazing addition to your family! Are you ready to meet this spunky, lovable girl? Jazzy can’t wait to find her forever home!If you are interested in adopting me or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, walk-in adoption hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm.My adoption fee is SPONSORED!

Story
Crisco here, reporting for cute dog duty!I am an extremely handsome, caramel-colored Mastiff/Pitbull mix dog weighing in at just over 60 lbs. I love toys, and I love playing with both my human AND canine friends. I know how to sit very well, but since I`m still young, I need a forever home that will be dedicated to taking me to basic and intermediate obedience classes, not only for my socialization needs, but training needs as well. It is important for me to find a home that will also be intentional about making sure I get in lots of daily excercise because I have tons of energy.I have never had any experience with cats, but feline friends aren`t really a great idea for me. I am big and strong and will do best in a home with older children in their teens who will be strong enough to manage me. What can I say? It`s awesome being in such great shape! Please come see me and my friends today. I can`t wait to meet you!If you are interested in adopting me or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, walk-in adoption hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm.My adoption fee is $50

Story
Everyone, this is Hector!Hector is such a ham. He loves to romp around and play here at the shelter and is one big and strong teddy bear of a dog. He knows how to sit very well and sits for treats and his food bowl. He hasn`t learned how to play fetch just yet, but we are sure he will warm up nicely in his new home for the holidays and be a part of all the fun and games a new home can bring.Being as Hector is almost 60 pounds of a lean muscle machine, small children are not recommended for Hector`s new home. We want Hector to go to a home where he will get tons of exercise and that his owners will be able to handle his leash training. Hector will also benefit greatly from basic and intermediate obedience training as well as leash-training.Come up and meet Hector and all his pals today and get big smooches in while you`re at it.If you are interested in adopting me or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, walk-in adoption hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm.My adoption fee is SPONSORED

Story
Introducing Marshall! Marshall is absolutely the kindest, gentlest old soul pitbull mix and loves to be petted and scratched. He knows SIT fluidly, shakes with his front left paw and waits for treats politely.Marshall enjoys all sorts of treats, both dry and wet food and is definitely a great candidate to learn some extra tricks.Since Marshall is about 7 years old, he will need to go to a home with children over the age of 12 and possibly a lower to medium level energy dog. Although we aren`t sure of Marshall`s experience with cats, if you have cats in the home, slow and supervised introductions would definitely be best. It`s definitely time you bring Marshall into your loving home for the holidays. He will make a great addition to your family. If you are interested in adopting me or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, walk-in adoption hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm.My adoption fee is SPONSORED.
