HAULT! If you are looking for a hug-a-bull, kiss-a-bull, irrisist-a-bull, and totally adopt-a-bull guy, I am the guy for you! You might be wondering where I get a name such as Clovis (meaning renowned fighter); well when I was found I had some pretty bad injuries and was severely emaciated (for real I was basically a skeleton with skin and fur). Thank goodness MAS was able to take me in and nurse me back to health. It was pretty touch-and-go for a while, and I almost didn't make it...but with the help of MAS, we fought for my life and overcame the odds. Though I am "out of the woods" as they say, some TLC is still needed (and wanted,...I want all your cuddles!). Despite having such a traumatic past, I am such a baby dog. I LOVE people of all ages, I am such a happy boy, which just goes to show how resilient and positive I really am (except with cats...I am positive I am not a fan of those things). I have done well meeting some of the other dogs at MAS as well. I am just so ready to find a place that I am welcomed as part of a family, and feel safe that I will never have to go through anything like my past again. "Already know you that which you need" - Yoda (the wise little green master from Star Wars) The one that you need is definitely me. I am more of a young padawon Yoda, in training to be your best friend! Even though I don’t hear much of anything, love and play are universal languages that we can figure out together! You could say I am a very social guy, I have met some other dogs and cats at MAS and have done awesome. I can get a little rambunctious though, so I would probably be best in a home without kids. Not every dog appreciates my hardcore play style either, but I have made several doggy friends hanging out at MAS. I am ready, willing, and able to use the force to take on adventures and overcome the evils of your stressful day! I can be an absolute goofball when I am outside playing (I love to be outdoors romping around in the yard). But I also love to get attention and curl up afterwards, maybe we can movie marathon with the best movies of all time…you guessed it, Star Wars! If Star Wars isn’t your thing though (we will agree to disagree), I am happy to hang out with you anyways and soak up your affection while you watch whatever else. Meet Iron Man I am "Iron Man"!! Are you ready? I have big energy and I'm looking for an active family that can keep up with me! I'm a good boy, but sometimes I forget that I am 80lbs of dog. For this reason, I would probably be best in a home without kids. I would be best in a home that has experience training a large size dog. I walk with a gentle leader that has greatly improved my walking manners (it helps me remember that its not polite to pull my person around). I would benefit with continued training to help me use my energy in a positive way. I like to practice my cool tricks too, I know "sit", "shake", "down" and "speak". Meet Ant Man Step aside Paul Rudd, because here comes the real Ant Man! There is one word that best describes Ant Man, and that word is “goofball”. Full of energy and always down to play, Ant Man is the sort of positivity we all need right now! In between bouts of high-octane play Ant Man loves to curl up next to his favorite people and cuddle. Ever since coming to Mackenzie’s he has been working on refining his manners and has improved a lot! He knows quite a few commands such as "sit", "stay", "come", "down", and "shake" and has adjusted to wearing a gentle leader while walking to remind him to not pull so hard on his leash. In the right home he could become quite the well-mannered gentleman! Ant Man has a lot of love to give - but not to cats. A cat-free home is needed. He loves to play with toys, go for car rides, and play at the beach. He also prefers quiet walks at more secluded places because when he sees other dogs, he tends to get a bit overstimulated. He has some allergies but ever since starting his special diet they have been kept under control and he has felt great!
