Rhea is a beautiful girl looking for a foster or furever home. She was born around March 2022. She is e-collar and crate trained, and she loves to play. She came from a background of neglect, abuse and health issues; but has overcome all of it with proper care, socialization and training. She still needs patience because she is fearful of new people without slow introductions, but once she knows you- she worships you and loves on you so hard. She just needs to establish trust and a safe boundary first. Rhea would do best as a solo pet for now because she is still learning. Rhea's preferred adopter will be someone who can provide consistent structure, open to families with older children (14+) as she is strong and still learning. She is a healthy gal who is spayed, up to date on all her vaccines, and microchipped. Her foster is gifting all her gear to her furever home: crate, blankets, a cot, ecollar and remote, slow feeding bowl, harness and collar. Joey was found on Christmas Day by one of our foster families. This sweet boy pretty much caught himself as he went from sitting on the side of the road with his head resting on a bench, to leashed and hopping in the car himself within five minutes. Joey knew there would be a good life waiting for him inside! Joey is about 1 year old. He was really skinny when found, but his fosters have helped him get up to his current weight of 54 pounds, but he could still use a few more. He has a sweet, goofy personality, and is dog and cat friendly. He is up to date on vaccines, neutered, and microchipped. He is also potty and crate trained. He is a very good boy who settles in on the couch when you leave, and is still there when you come home. Joey has normal puppy energy when let outside to play, and loves playing tug with toys and tag with his foster sister. He is a smartie who knows sit, has good recall and can pick up anything with a treat or love. He mostly likes to spend his time being your little sidekick, whether as assistant coach for the other dog’s game of fetch or sous chef in the kitchen, he’ll sit right by your feet keeping you company. Meet Simba!!! Simba came to us when he was found as a stray in Detroit and ended up at an overcrowded shelter. A wonderful foster family stepped up to take him in and he is now enjoying his foster life with them. We estimate Simba to be about 9 months old and he currently weighs between 26-30 lbs. Simba is currently living with multiple dogs and children as young as 10 years old and he LOVES them all. Simba is potty trained and crate trained, although he only is crated when his foster family isn't home. (At night he sleeps at the end of their bed) Simba is neutered, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. He is SUPER food motivated and eager to learn, he has already mastered SIT! Simba loves playing with the other dogs in the home, chewing on bones and playing fetch. But don't worry, those days are behind him, since a wonderful foster family stepped up to take him in! We estimate Rafiki to be approx. 8 months old and he currently weigh 20 lbs. Rafiki is neutered, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. He is currently living with 4 dogs and children, as young as 10 years old, and loves them all. Rafiki is doing great with potty training and when he can't hold it has learned to use pee pads. Rafiki loves chewing on bones and playing with the other dogs and children in his foster home.
